I just recently graduated High Point University and unfortunately only found out about Nabil's my last semester in North Carolina. Nabil is one of the kindest people I have ever met and definitely made me feel welcome every time I would walk in the door. I had him alter two dresses of mine on two separate occasions and each time he finished in a timely manor and had done quality work. The first time I went to Nabil's I assumed that my dress would be far cheaper to alter than it ended up being. When he realized I was short on money he told me not to worry about it and allowed me to pay 25 dollars cheaper than the original estimate. He then took off another five dollars and told me not to worry about it. Immediately after I went to take cash out of the bank and brought it back to him and he nearly refused to take it. I gave him the money and he told me I did not have to do that. Because of the service I had received the first time I did not think twice about who to bring me other dress to to get altered. Every time a friend talked about needing alterations I would rave about Nabil's! Even when they didn't ask I told them he would be a good person to trust with their clothing. I highly recommend giving this man your business! read more

Great work at reasonable price in record time. Nice helpful guy. Easy to find location

The best alterations place I've ever been!! He is such a nice man and I had two very difficult dresses to hem and he did an amazing job! It was exactly what I was looking for- not only was it perfect, but he had it done in a week!! read more

Great Customer Service! This was my first experience, and I couldn't say anything but great things about how I was treated while I was there. Nabil was very welcoming and kind when I walked in, and even with my short notice he was able to accommodate me and assure he would have my pants altered in a timely manner. Just on customer service alone I would recommend him to anyone. read more

SCAMMER BEWARE!!!!!!! I am a student at HPU and I took my $20 SHEIN DRESS here to get altered in the stomach a little. Ended up getting charged over $200 for a tiny alteration. I called because I was so upset and he offered to write a check for $75 to lower the cost I just payed for. He ended up purposely writing the check incorrectly in a way I didn't notice at first and I got 7 DOLLARS BACK INSTEAD OF $75. I've never written a review before on any business but I am so offended and shocked. I have also never been scammed before. ALSO girls at high point especially, he is super creepy and the store is disgusting inside. read more

I left two jackets there over 6 weeks ago to have sleeves shortened...took a few visits and calls for him to locate them....then I was way overcharged for that type of alteration. Just glad to have them back. read more

Had suit altered and also pants,he was outstanding, efficient, very professional and did a perfect job for me. Much better than the other alterations I have had by others in high point! read more

Took something that wasn't so time consuming(hem). Nothing difficult. Needed it shorten. When I picked it up I was charged $40!!!! That was more than I paid for the item! He tried to tell me it took alot of time that was why. I asked him why couldn't he had done what I asked and just cut length and hem it. Simple. He said it had this and that to do to it. Still a bunch of bull!! Ask what he will charge before doing it off. You don't want to get shocked like I did. And house work wasn't worth it either. read more

I rarely used this shop for alterations, but my daughter needed her wedding dress altered. We stop in the shop and the owner is nice and fairly attentive. However, the ship is a mess, dust, pins, thread everywhere. We were almost afraid to try the dress on so that he could pin it. Apprehensively, she did. He pointed a few places and it was a very short visit which concerned both of us, especially with it being a wedding gown. Upon leaving I asked him about the pricing and he informed us that he only accepts cash but never gave us a price, not even a ballpark estimate. We went for her first fitting, the actually dress was themed to the right length but the under layer was way too long and stuck it under the dress. So, he scarcely pinned it again. Again, upon leaving we asked for an estimated, he's said not to worry that he would get the pricing together and let us know what it would be on the next fitting. Long story short, we never got a price until I called after the third fitting (the bustle buttons had to be moved two times to get the underlay to look right). I called him and told him that we were on the way to the shop for the last fitting and to pay him. He started off with a price of $450, literally, the dress needed about 2 inches off the length, same with the underlay and 3 bustle buttons, he still needed to steam the dress and I told him to forget it, that bought the price to $400. After a bit of discussion His price was $360. I strongly suggest, if you are going to use this ship to get the exact price up front before you leave anything!! We won't be back. read more

I have been visiting Nabil for over 3 years, and recommending his business to anyone I can. He has handled all of my suits, shirts, and practically anything else I purchase. His attention to detail is fantastic, and he never fails to deliver a well-tailored garment. Best tailor in town. read more

I recently trusted Nabil to alter my very expensive gown. He did an average job with the actual alterations that were done to the gown. However, Nabil was negligent in how he stored my dress while it was under his care. He has racks of dresses and clothes that are stuffed up against each other. This ended up causing a stain on the backside of my dress because the ink on the tag imprinted onto the gown. I am assuming this happened bc dress was exposed to heat/higher temperatures while sandwiched between other clothes, giving the ink opportunity to transfer over onto the fabric. Nabil tried to remove the stain with rubbing alcohol which lifted some of the ink but ultimately left a watermark. I took my gown to a speciality cleaners but they were unable to remove the stain completely. As you can imagine, this whole process has been a nightmare. It has added unnecessary cost and STRESS and Nabil has not been helpful about either. He did not offer reimbursement of ANY sort and even tried to blame me for it, saying that the ink must have imprinted when I put the dress on at the store right before we first found the stain. This is offensive and makes absolutely no sense. He told me to call the manufacturer bc it wasn't his problem and basically hung up on me afterwards. I am appalled as this is my ONE chance to wear the dress of my dreams (that I have now invested lots of money into) and it is completely ruined. I am 3 weeks away from my wedding and stuck with an imperfect, stained wedding dress. Please CAREFULLY CONSIDER before trusting him with your wedding gowns. read more

If you are in need of a suit that fits good, go to the Oak Hollow Dillard's and get a great deal on a suit and have Nabil handle any adjustments. Tired suit on and look like expensive tailor made suit. He's obviously been doing this a long time and knows what he's doing. read more

This place is tip-top for fast service and knowledge. Nabil is super friendly and outgoing, and managed to fix what a whole team of people at David's Bridal screwed up on my wedding dress - they charged me 550, and he charged me 40 to fix it. I walked in with an armful of tulle, two weeks before my wedding, and he fixed it, PERFECTLY, in just a few days. I'm so excited that I can pass down a work of art to my daughter to wear, if she chooses to. I should have come to him first, and saved myself a 6/10s of a grand and a lot of heartache. He's also super fast and handy with hems on jeans and simple things, too. You don't need a wedding dress disaster to show up! Can't recommend him any higher. read more

Absolutely terrible! My 3 yo could do a better alteration job. I had to take my wedding dress to another tailor to have his "work" corrected. Thank goodness I found someone that knew exactly what they were doing or my dress would have been a disaster. Nabil should have been closed long ago. read more
