I took 2 suit jackets here for tailoring. $90 for hemming the sleeves of 2 suits. Not a bad price, not budget either. Very middle of the road. The work was fine, and came out exactly as promised. I wouldn't say they were the most helpful in finding me the perfect fit, but when I explicitly said what I wanted done they did it. Just had a unique and horrible experience at Nader's. I went in to the shop a week ago with a pair of pants to were intentional purchased to be altered. I worked with an older man that is not the lady that I've usually consulted with. He was immediately combative. He pinned the pants where he wanted and refused to change it. I expressed where I wanted it and I wanted a taper leg ( the pants were straight) . He said he understood what I wanted and I paid. Upon picking up the paints and seeing they didn't look right I asked to try them on and it looked like he took an inch or 2 off the hem and sewed it up. The pants are curved and have no appearance of being taper. You couldn't see a leg in the pants if there were 2 pairs. When telling him what I wanted he said "I must not be right in the head and he couldn't do anything more' . The only additional response I could receive is " people paper clip there pants to make them look like that". What?!? Complete waste of 30 bucks and 5days. Now I have a business trip in 2 days with botched pants. Be cognizant of who you consult with. I will never be returning. read more

By far the best experience with a dry cleaner in Greensboro. Been coming to Nader's for a few years now and always satisfied. Very nice and kind people that own the place; always greeted welcomely. Simply explain the purpose of the visit and they take no time making note of any need - whether dry clean or alteration. The times that I've went, there have always been at least 3 on staff which makes knowing your service will be speedy. I get stains on my clothes - dirt/oil/etc. and let them know the spots. They always are able to get them out, even after many attempts personally. The prices are wonderful. I took my work branded polo shirts to Naders to be sized down. He had me try them on and pinned the shirts to the desired size. They charged me $80. I tried to wear one and my coworker said nope! "Did he even do ANY cutting to the shirt. Long story short, I found another tailor who I'll review, that did a fantastic job. I have to be honest, I don't really ever get my clothing altered. Being a short and chesty woman, I just accept if it's too big/small or too long I shouldn't buy it. The exception of course has been weddings. I feel honored that many friends of mine have asked me to be in their bridal party, but without fail these fancy dresses are always too long or gapes as I have to get it a size up to accommodate my chest. My most recent grooms woman dress was no different. I clearly don't have a go to alterations person, but found the reviews of Nadar's Alterations favorable so decided to go for it. The drop off process was very easy. I honestly just showed up. The place was busy, generally a good sign. There were dressing rooms for me to change into the garment. Nadar and I quickly discussed the alterations I desired, he put in some pins, and told me to change out carefully. One important thing to note, don't forget to bring the shoes you intend to wear with the altered piece. Next, I was given a slip of paper as a receipt of sorts and told I would be texted when the garnet was ready. I believe he estimated around 2 weeks, and I got the text even sooner than that. Brought my ticket back with me, paid for my dress, and I was out the door quickly. It cost $85. To me that felt a little high, but the dress was a very beaded material and as I said I don't get things altered often so can't say I have much data to go off of. Everything with weddings is expensive! In the end, it was fixed to fit me and done in plenty of time for the upcoming wedding. I recommended Nadar's to a friend that needed some alternations done quickly for a wedding she was in, and he came through for her too. This place used to be good. Now, the *only* thing this cleaner has going for it is a convenient location. Perhaps the old seamstress left and that's why Nadar's is hiring now? Either way, the attitude of the gentleman has gone way down hill. He used to be friendly, now he's brief and pushy. If you're a fan of being charged a different price at pickup than you were told when dropping off you items for cleaning, then this is your place. Perhaps you're a fan of getting alterations done that end up fitting differently than what you requested, only to be asked to pay more to correct Nadar's mistakes? Look no further... If you don't like overpaying and being brushed off when you point out incomplete alterations with mistakes, you probably should keep looking. Took a dress in to be hemmed and they did a horrible job! Hem uneven and they ripped the fabric in one spot. They do not use proper thread for finer non-cotton fabrics and should use a surger. Dress is ruined. read more

Outstanding!! I've had Mr. Nader do some alterations in the past and every time it's been perfect and done in a timely fashion. But this week he went so far above and beyond that I cannot sing his praises enough. Our daughter flew in early last week (from Oregon) for her wedding this past Saturday. She had sent her dress ahead of time and when she tried it on this week, it was a bit too big (like many brides-to-be, she'd lost a little weight in the interim).
