By far the best experience with a dry cleaner in Greensboro. Been coming to Nader's for a few years now and always satisfied. Very nice and kind people that own the place; always greeted welcomely. Simply explain the purpose of the visit and they take no time making note of any need - whether dry clean or alteration. The times that I've went, there have always been at least 3 on staff which makes knowing your service will be speedy. I get stains on my clothes - dirt/oil/etc. and let them know the spots. They always are able to get them out, even after many attempts personally. The prices are wonderful. To put into context, I got a suit blazer, dress pants, pair of slacks, and three T shirts (all with grease stains) for roughly $24. I highly recommend.

I have to be honest, I don't really ever get my clothing altered. Being a short and chesty woman, I just accept if it's too big/small or too long I shouldn't buy it. The exception of course has been weddings. I feel honored that many friends of mine have asked me to be in their bridal party, but without fail these fancy dresses are always too long or gapes as I have to get it a size up to accommodate my chest. My most recent grooms woman dress was no different. I clearly don't have a go to alterations person, but found the reviews of Nadar's Alterations favorable so decided to go for it. The drop off process was very easy. I honestly just showed up. The place was busy, generally a good sign. There were dressing rooms for me to change into the garment. Nadar and I quickly discussed the alterations I desired, he put in some pins, and told me to change out carefully. One important thing to note, don't forget to bring the shoes you intend to wear with the altered piece. Next, I was given a slip of paper as a receipt of sorts and told I would be texted when the garnet was ready. I believe he estimated around 2 weeks, and I got the text even sooner than that. Brought my ticket back with me, paid for my dress, and I was out the door quickly. It cost $85. To me that felt a little high, but the dress was a very beaded material and as I said I don't get things altered often so can't say I have much data to go off of. Everything with weddings is expensive! In the end, it was fixed to fit me and done in plenty of time for the upcoming wedding. I recommended Nadar's to a friend that needed some alternations done quickly for a wedding she was in, and he came through for her too. Was happy to hear that the service/experience I had seems to be the norm. Till the next wedding!

Walking into Sara's and you feel like you've stepped back in time. No frills, lots of clothes on…read moreracks, and curtains for changing room doors. They were very fast and got my 4 pairs of jeans pinned in no time. I got back all 4 pairs and they managed to match the thread colors for the hems perfectly as well as trimming the bottom of the cuffs. I hate excess material. Prices are higher than others and it takes them longer to finish than others, but otherwise, no other negative things to say. Recommended.

Here are photos of a puffy coat I purchased that was not warm enough for my liking...but I liked…read moreeverything else about it....and I had a flannel/Fleece like material shirt with a hood that I never would wear... because it did not have any buttons or pockets...I was thinking, why did I get this...but then I thought...it might work if I could use it as a liner in my puffy coat, and the colors went well, so I took it to Sara's because he's altered things for me before and did an excellent job...And what to you know... when he finished....it looked like I purchased the coat that way....and the hood was detachable... look at it.......he did a magnificent job...to me he's the best in the city and I've been to several before I ever started having him make alterations to my clothes, now I wouldn't go anywhere else. And he doesn't take forever or charge a ARM & a LEG either! He's the best at what he does! I personally give him KUDOS because he deserves it!!!

But I didn't realize how great they are in our community. They have one program that lets students who are going to dances, can recommend that other students rent tuxes from them, and that individual can earn their rental free. They have specific requirements, but so wonderful. They've done other things that schools and individuals have told me, but they're great. And they'll always be our first call.

My experience with the Greensboro Men's Wearhouse locations on Hornaday Rd and Battleground Ave was…read moreextremely disappointing. I ordered a suit at the Hornaday location and was told it would be ready March 12 after alterations. When I arrived on March 15, two associates looked directly at me but never acknowledged me. I waited about 10 minutes. Another customer walked in and was immediately helped. Only after I spoke up--and after the customer who arrived after me was helped first--did the associate assist me. I was then told my suit had been sent to the Battleground store with no explanation, forcing me to drive across town. When I arrived there, the associate tried to hand me my suit uncovered on a hanger and spoke to me in a condescending tone when I declined to buy a garment bag. When I asked for his name, he refused. The lack of professionalism and basic customer service was shocking.
