I hired this contractor to install a crawlspace door. Unfortunately, the door fell apart after only…read moretwo months. In my opinion, the quality of the work was extremely poor. I contacted the contractor to give him an opportunity to come back and address the problem. He scheduled an appointment but rescheduled it on the day of the appointment. We then agreed on a second appointment, but he did not show up and did not contact me. After that, I made several attempts to reach him by phone and text, all without a response. I ultimately asked him to refund the $400 so I could hire someone else to properly fix and replace the door. He did not respond to that request either. Problems can happen with any job, but what matters is how a contractor handles them. In this case, we paid for a door that failed within two months (after three times of being opened), and when I asked the contractor to make it right--or simply refund my money so I could have the work redone--he stopped responding. I would not recommend him. If you are considering hiring him, I strongly recommend getting everything in writing, including what happens if the work fails, before making payment.

Imagine the biggest fright happening on Halloween morning - the discovery of a ceiling leak from our upstairs bathroom. Thankfully, I've been bookmarking different vendors from our local neighborhood Facebook groups, and I kept seeing one name being recommended for plumbing work -- Force Plumbing. Every person that's recommended Force Plumbing have said they were excellent with pricing and reliable. Since it wasn't an emergency call, we contacted them on the next business day, and I gave them some info about our issue, and although they had a full schedule, they said they would try to fit us in. I received an automated text through their service app as soon as a technician was on the way around 2:30pm. Our technician Joe was able to take a quick look and gave us an upfront pricing estimate and overall scope of the work that might be needed. We decided to go with Force since we wanted the work to be done right then. He had all the tools and parts in his van, and was able to repair our leak in 90 minutes, and even gave us advice about potential repairs and a timeline of what we should expect needs to be done in our bathroom. He even cleaned up everything after the repair. Thanks to Force Plumbing for coming to our rescue and thanks to Joe for all his knowledge and for fitting us into his day! PS. Our household has been cautious during Covid with risks, and I really appreciated that Joe was masked and gloved the whole time while working in our home despite the strenuous work of lifting the toilet and doing repairs! Thank you Force Plumbing!

I did not know what to do so we immediately called a plumber, Force Plumbing. They responded immediately and was able to get a hold on the situation. Within 2 days, we had a new hot water heater with minimal damage to our basement because of Force Plumbing's quick show up time. Joe, the owner, was the first to show and was able to stop the bleeding, so to speak, within minutes. He got us up and running until his crew came on Tuesday morning and installed our new water heater. Professional, courteous, prompt, friendly and most importantly affordable. I recommend Force Plumbing to anyone who needs plumbing work done without any hesitation.

BUYER BEWARE!! Get EVERYTHING in writing -- this company will not protect you from costly mistakes…read more I am extremely disappointed with my experience with RS Marble & Granite and would strongly warn anyone considering using them. I purchased an MSI quartz countertop after visiting the MSI showroom and selecting the exact sample I wanted. Their contract does state that some variation from samples is expected, and I understood that. However, the slab that was installed is dramatically darker with far heavier veining -- not a minor difference, but something that looks like a completely different color. I will be including photos so others can judge for themselves. I could have requested slab approval, but I didn't believe it was necessary based on their reputation, the product I selected, and the fact that it was never required or emphasized. RS Marble & Granite came to measure and later called to "confirm" details. During that call, their representative recommended installing my sink as an undermount and said an additional hole for a water filter could be cut on site. On installation day: * The countertop was not cut for an undermount sink * They refused to cut the additional hole they had said could be done on site * The leftover cutout pieces I requested were not brought at all They later reimbursed me $250 for these mistakes, but this was before I fully realized how severely the installed slab differed in color and veining from what I selected. After all this, I was told nothing further could be done because the changes were not in writing. This is the real issue: they are the professionals, yet there is no slab approval process, no system to document changes they themselves suggest, and no protection for the customer. My advice: Stay away from this company. If it's already too late and you are working with them, make absolutely sure every single detail you think you're getting is in writing -- or you may end up paying a lot of money for something you never truly agreed to.
