ill start by saying the end product was nice. but getting there was a mess. First two days men showed up to demo all the concrete and pavers. they did not cover the pool water and we are still digging out chunks of concrete that they dumped in there. Second there was no one here that spoke English so we could not communicate. furthermore the men sat for more than 2 hours each day and did nothing. Literally nothing. Pool guy came to take off the coping and left 2 large holes open on each side of pool. When it was time to frame the forman told me to call my company to fix it when i just paid 3500 to their pool person The "owner" was no help. sent another guy on the third day. framing was fine. concrete pouring was fine. Cleanup was ok but not finished when they sent a worker to the door to get his check. Obviously we made them come back and finish cleaning. The owner still has not come to see the finished product. I think a score of 3 is generous not because of the product but the lack of professionalism and dissatisfaction with the whole journey. I hope thry di not ask for a referral because it wouldn't cone from me. anyone want some chunks of concrete. come on over and fish them out of my pool. read more

I won't bore you with the details of the issue we had with a concrete patio (high water table, graded landscape issues) but John and Paul spent real time with us working on fixing the issue. I can not recommend this company more. The new owner Jon, is by far the most honest contractor I have ever hired! After consultation with five company's, we found Josantos to be the most honest and fair priced contractor. It was a fairly large pool deck of 3500 sq ft. After much discussion we decided to go with porcelain tile with a concrete base. We also needed a small retaining wall. Jon the owner was my point person for the entire project. He treated the project as though he was spending his own money. He was honest about things he thought were over priced and gave me moderately priced alternatives. What really put this experience over the top for me was the retaining wall. Once the install started I was so unhappy with the stone color, it didnt match the tile at all. I sent pictures to Jon, the owner, and he immediately had the work stopped. He had the retaining wall taken down, returned the stone and ordered a new stone to match the rest of the tile. This was all at no additional cost to me!!! I have had so many contractors for the renovation on my home and I can honestly say Jon was the best! read more

I do not recommend Josantos Construction. This concrete company put in my new a pool patio only 4 years ago and rusty holes keep showing up everywhere. It took days of calling to get through to the office & owner. Poor customer service. I was told they don't do repairs & that they will go away on there own. They haven't they just get worse & more come. They don't stand behind the work. This started the first summer after they put it in . New pool new patio & it looks terrible. read more

Paul is seriously the nicest guy! He didn't try to nickel and dime me like most of the New Jersey Contractors I've had to deal with which I liked. His estimate was clear and precise. He understood clearly what I wanted and delivered just that! Most people would consider me a difficult customer however Paul didn't mind and said I wasn't difficult I just know exactly what I want. EXACTLY FINALLY SOMEONE GETS ME! He came and checked on me multiple times during the few days they spent completing my patio to ensure I was happy with how it was coming and that I didn't have any questions that needed answers! Hired Josantos Construction to remove and replace the concrete around my pool that was getting renovated. The actual concrete itself was done well. However the mess that they made was unbelievable. I completely understand that it is a messy job and some wear and tear on the yard could happen, but this was negligence. Cleaning equipment on my grass and accidently tipping over wheel barrows resulted in my lawn getting destroyed and actual concrete forming in its place due to immediate heavy rain. When I contacted Josantos they said they would send someone to clean it up. The clean up was not at all satisfactory, I still had concrete covering multiple parts of my yard that I eventually had to remove and reseed. Also found multiple sharp materials in the newly renovated pool from their cleanup. Luckily no damage occurred from that. I'm sure you can find another company who will do the work just as well but not destroy your yard in the process. Look else where. read more

He did our concrete around our inground pool. Within months it sunk and cracked. After months and months of trying to get it repaired he finally came and only repaired some of the pad. Also attempted to add an additional concrete pad. His workers refused to pour additional or fix the other sinking concrete.  I have called, texted, emailed for the past ten months with ZERO response for the repairs and new estimate for a new pad. The concrete is less than two years old and now is comprising the integrity of my inground pool.  Completely unprofessional. read more

Almost 30 years ago this company installed a patio on my property in Clark, NEW JERSEY. His workers did a masterful job creating a beautiful space carefully cutting each brick to make the curve in the design I wanted.
