We recently had a quartz countertop installed by Granite Details. While the finished product looks…read morefine, the overall experience left a lot to be desired--especially considering the cost and how easy we were to work with throughout the process. There were a few issues that took away from the experience: the installation team scratched our hardwood floors during the process, and more importantly, they left the backsplash uncaulked where it meets the wall. This is a basic finishing step that prevents water damage, and it was verbally confirmed during the measurement phase that it would be taken care of. When I reached out to have it resolved--something that would take no more than five minutes--the request was flatly denied, citing their paperwork. Regardless of what the fine print said, the lack of follow-through and unwillingness to make it right speaks volumes about their customer service, which I'd rate a 4 out of 10 at best. We did not have an appointment. We just happen to be in the area and decided to check out their inventory and hopefully get some guidance on how to select the items we needed for our remodel project. The young lady who helped us initially was hesitant. She had an appointment coming in in about 45 minutes and truthfully at the beginning, we were a little put off because no one seemed to take an interest in helping us. Then after we began asking questions did she realize we were going to be making some purchases that day she showed us around explained how to select style first then finish, she created a file in her system and walked us through all of the options. She was incredibly professional as it turns out and helped us with the selection of fixtures finishes, and the timeline for ordering! They have a huge selection of premium bath, kitchen and lighting fixtures. I would highly recommend stopping in -an appointment would be better- if you want expert guidance on a remodel in your home.

I didn't even know plastic seats existed. Now we have 3 plastic toilet seats in our new house. We had 4, but my husband purchased a real seat from Home Depot for the same price as the plastic one from Ferguson. At least guests who use the powder room won't think we are cheap. Danielle did not reply to my email so I stopped by the store to speak with her. She asked if they had been installed. Yes, they were installed before we moved in. I have never opened plumbing supplies to look at them before being installed by a plumber during the building process. Have you? This may sound silly, but make sure you know exactly what you are getting when shopping at the Mooresville Ferguson store.

When we asked to send them back and get new cabinets, because they were damaged Jeff would get a huge attitude. He said things like "no cabinets are going to be perfect." He talked down to us in conversation and was extremely rude. On top of that our meetings were never on time. We would be told a certain amount of time and it would take much longer. He made our family feel very uncomfortable having to deal with his behavior. After over a year and a half we received our final cabinets and gave up on the cause. Dealing with him isn't worth getting cabinets that weren't damaged. After posting my review on Facebook, his wife decided to attack me on Facebook and said lies about our family being untrustworthy. That just shows you the type of people you would be dealing with. Be cautious before choosing this company.

We contracted with Jasper Builders to convert garage and second floor attic into an office and home…read moretheater. Working with Sean Gallagher, Jasper builders was the worst experience I've had as a homeowner. Sean Gallagher was incompetent, inconsiderate and insulting to the point he brought my wife to tears on more than one occasion and put us through months of mind numbing stress. Almost two years later he has never returned a phone call to finish the punchlist. SEE THE PICTURES. Here's a summary of the problems: 1. The walls were misplaced and ceiling done incorrectly and had to be redone. 2. Jasper forgot to put insulation in the floor. Sean assured me it was installed. I had to drill holes from the ceiling below to prove the error. The insulation company had to come back and blow in insulation from below. The holes in the ceiling were 3. Jasper did not provide access to the new crawl space. Sean assured me it was there. I had to crawl under the house to prove it wasn't. The access door he put in the garage failed inspection twice. What I ended up with was very poor. 4.The plumbers mixed the hot and cold lines resulting in a 120 degree toilet which had to be repaired. 5.The painters switched the wall and ceiling colors and sheens. 6.The painters did not color match the exterior paint. They painted a tan color instead of the existing grey. The colors were very different but no one had the sense to stop and match the colors. I had to go to the Sherwin Williams and match the paint. 7.It took Jasper Builders 3 attempts to build a three step stairway to code. The first attempt was so bad my wife and later my son fell off the steps. 8.The HVAC sub did not design the system correctly. The upstairs room was at least 10 degrees hotter than the rest of the house. Sean refused to amdmit anything was wrong and made at least 5 trips with a thermometer to disprove my claims instead of just fixing the problem. I paid for two independent hvac expert opinions which found multiple problems. Jasper still refused to admit a problem. I had to submit a complaint to the state examiners who found in my favor. The HVAC company was forced to correct all the problems and ended up in probation. 9. Jasper consistantly invoiced before the phases were complete and inspected and problems resolved. 10.My final punch list included items of extremely poor quality (see pictures). Jasper has refused to correct the problem. 11. We refused to pay the balance until the punch list was done. Sean, not only refused to address the punch list, but he put a lien on our house. Its been two years and Sean still refuses to return a phone call.
