There was brown liquid spilled on the cabinets and floors, paint spilled on the floors, stairs & countertops, outlet covers missing (still not found), painter's tape still stuck to the walls & baseboards, and sunflower seeds littered across EVERY single floor in the house (including the in the carpet and the bathtub). I am shocked at the way the house was left and how sloppy this was. This was not the condition that it was supposed to be left in. I had a showing the next morning so had to spend over 3 hours cleaning it. I contacted the manager about it and received a $275 discount. They did offer to come back over and "take care of these items" but I had no time to let them come back so I had to take care of it myself. I made countless calls to handymen, drywall tradesmen, even general contractors, before I found Drywall Artists. Others would agree to the project, but not show... and some would decline the project outright, due to the overhead work required. Josh came to my home, scoped the job, provided a detailed (and written) quote, and we agreed on a price and start date. I had to wait a few weeks for his availability, but it was well worth it. Josh, and his team, arrived on time every day (at 7:30 am), of our project schedule! Now, at the time, I felt like "showing up" was half the battle... but it's not just Josh's work ethic that makes him valuable, it's his expertise (12+ years). The overhead work required a board brace, which Josh secured. I mis-measured the drywall I installed myself, which Josh corrected. The knee wall was not plumb due to settling, which Josh corrected. The door jamb was oval, but my door hardware was square, which Josh corrected. There's probably more stuff that went wrong that he didn't tell me about, and he just powered through! The bottom line is this... the guy is very, very, good. If you're luckily enough to get on his schedule, you should hold that date.

What stood out: Professionalism: He walked through his plans for the repair on the initial estimate visit, and described what he thought the culprit was. He showed up at his stated arrival time every day, did an excellent job sealing the work area, containing dust, and cleaning up/tearing down each day so we could more easily live in our home. While here, he worked consistently without taking a lot of breaks or doing constant trips for supplies.
