He has been bringing his car to Tuan ever since, and we couldn't be happier with the service and cost and quality of the work. The reviewers that complain about lead time to get an appointment should just go ahead and take their cars to all the other service shops in the area! That way we can keep waiting a week or so for Tuan's amazing service and the impatient reviewers can get less amazing service without the wait. Win-win!

I grew up in the automotive industry and pride myself on being able to understand "car talk" and repair the small stuff at home. Never once did I feel like I was being patronised, duped, cheated, or mansplained to. Straightforward, clear, concise, and easy to reach via SMS- each interaction was useful and easy to understand. Labour and work all done in a day!!!! Replaced clutch, struts, control arms, etc- had to drop the entire transmission to do so. Amazing. Other places (before we knew of Tuan's ) told us to total it/throw in the towel on the repairs. That they'd cost well over 6K (!!!!!!). If you haven't had your car serviced there, get on it! No frills, no gimmicks, no pretend problems to fix it. They're proper badarses in the business.

I wanted to use a re-manufactured part to keep costs down. None of their suppliers had one available but they had no problem with me finding my own. Based on what they quoted me for the repair and what I found shopping for the part online, they don't mark up the price they charge for parts at all. I hope I don't need any other major repairs but if I do, I'm bring my vehicles here from now on.

Towed my car to this shop to fix a rotor. They were very responsive and honest. Told me I may need a hub but ended up being fine and they were honest. Great shop. They care. I had them place a hitch on my 2019 Equinox and they did a excellent job! I didn't know Mr. Kurth but the new owners Pete and Calvin were incredible kind and helpful. They were very detailed and transparent around costing and the work they would have to do to complete the job. It truly was a hometown feel. Lastly, I appreciate Pete and his missionary work in Haiti with his wife and 4 daughters. Very cool story and exactly someone you want to work with if trust is important to you. Thanks guys and I wish you the best in your new venture. I will recommend your operation to others as it comes up!

if I could do no stars I would. I used to go here all the time…read more I took my car in cuz I knew my timing belt was needing to be changed. they were very rude when I had to come In at 3pm cuz I work until then. they barely looked at it and called me back in 10 minutes when they were supposed to see what was wrong. I know it takes longer than that to see what's wrong. they told me I needed a $7000 new engine, and that's what the problem was. I know that wasn't true. so I took it to a different shop that ac fixed my belt. so they tried to rip me off and seems like take my engine. I will never go here again even with the new name change!

I had my non-starting car towed here and the service team here was very helpful. My car isn't new…read morebut I was planning to drive it a few more years. The team was very thorough with the diagnosis of the main issue, which turned out to require a new engine. The team listened to me even though the repair was to cost about what the car was worth - due to some other things going on in my life, I just wanted my car back in working order. The service team diligently pursued finding a used replacement engine for me to attempt this repair, but were very honest that both replacements had the same issue at least as bad as my existing engine. I appreciate that the team went the extra mile trying to get my car back into a shape that would meet my goal of being able to drive it for a few more years, and conferred with me each step of the way. In the end, I paid only for the work they had done to diagnose the issue and get my car starting reliably again. I would trust these folks with any repairs I need in the future for certain. They listened to me, were honest about the issues they encountered, and gave me good advice through every step.

I dropped my car off for a front end alignment, which they charge $159.95 for. Fair enough…read more I was told that during their pre-alignment inspection they discovered that the passenger side outer tie rod end was worn and needed to be replaced in order for the alignment to be done. This makes sense, so I said ok go ahead and do it. I was then told that with the alignment and tie rod end replacement, the total cost would now be $565.04! I decided to do it because my car was already there in the shop and it needed to be done, however this price is insane for the work that was done. They charged me $98.92 for the tie rod end, which is a very large markup. They charge $239.81 PER HOUR for labor, which is completely crazy. I was charged for an hour of labor, when I know for a fact that changing out one single tie rod end should only take a decent mechanic 15-20 minutes. It is ridiculously easy. Finally, they charged me $57.83 for "RO Fees" which include recycling, environmental, shop supplies and hazardous waste disposal. This makes no sense to me because I had no fluids changed that needed disposal, and the only shop supplies they would have needed for a tie rod end and an alignment would be paper towels, maybe a dab of anti-seize, maybe a pair of nitrile gloves. Nearly $60 is straight up robbery for the job they did for me. Yes, they are friendly. Yes, I think the work they do is fine. What they charge, however, is not reasonable and I think they are taking advantage of the many people who need their car fixed and don't know a whole lot about mechanical work. This is why I try to do most of my own repairs, but some things (like alignments) a guy just can't do in his driveway.

My husband and son do most of the maintenance on our own vehicles, so we're not easily impressed when it comes to auto shops. But M & M Automotive absolutely earns our trust and business. In fact, we trust them to tell us the truth, even if it's that a car isn't worth putting more money into. That kind of honesty is rare and invaluable. They're also quick, reliable, and reasonably priced. The shop is clean, the staff is friendly, and it's clear they care about doing the job right the first time.
