I did a google search for lymphatic massages after seeing a TikTok video. I found Max's studio which was only 11 mins from my home. I didn't know what to expect but Max showed and explained to me how to utilize the massage machine. It was a little bit awkward at first but I got the hang of it. Max checked in on me frequently and showed me different positions to do to maximize my massage. I enjoyed the atmosphere with the plants. I felt lighter and with more energy after the massage. The studio is so inviting, well decorated and clean! My back/shoulders were super stiff from stress so I got cryo done and it instantly helped! I then did the lymphatic roller, and the machine has a screen to walk you through different positions to get different parts of your body and when to switch. It's great because you can apply the pressure you want and feel comfortable with, and change the speed and the direction of your roller. I loved it! Today I visited this new place, My Roll Studio. I had booked an express lymphatic massage for 25 minutes, but later realized that I wanted to extend the duration of the massage and try other procedures offered by the studio. The studio owner told me about the cryo slimming procedure, and I decided to try it. I really enjoyed it, and it should help me get rid of the excess fat on my belly and sides, which I have been struggling with for the past 2 years. After the cryo session, I relaxed on a couch during the red light therapy, and it was fantastic. I feel light, like my legs have been properly massaged on the rollers, and that work has been done on my belly. Maxim worked very delicately and politely. I was surprised to learn that the body roll massage burns about 300+ calories in an hour, and I know it gives a good workout because my friend and I were both extremely sore the next day--particularly in the abs and quads. I went to myrollstudio for the first time last weekend and tried all 3 of their services - the lymphatic massage roller, cryoslimming and red light therapy. I've never done any of these things before so wasn't sure what to expect. The massage roller was less complicated than it looked - it had instructions on the screen for which body parts to target and once I figured out which direction the roller was supposed to go in, it was pretty cool. I had cryoslimming on my stomach, which was cold (as expected, but not painful) and during the red light therapy I fell asleep. The next day, I felt beat up, but in a good way like I'd had a really good deep tissue massage. No noticeable results right away on the cryoslimming BUT a week later when I put on my dog walking fanny pack I noticed it was loose! I wish I'd taken before measurements, but I feel like I lost at least an inch off my stomach...and I wasn't expecting much given I'd eaten pizza 3 times that week. I'm pretty happy about that inch and plan to come back for another session at the end of the month. read more
