Eventually, you will find the one you have a positive synergy with. We have been using Sally, who is one of the best. Jenny and Linda are also good. We haven't tried the male massage therapists but have heard great things about James. We highly recommend marking up the small paper to indicate where you want them to focus before your massage. Keep your English conversation simple and hand them the marked paper so the massage therapist will know.

Let's start with the service itself: to get an hour and a half (90 minutes) it's supposed to be $45, I was charged over $50 and I was told that this was because "deep tissue" costs more. Now let's get to the masseuse: his name was Kevin and he proceeded to give me the WORST deep tissue massage that I've ever had. (1) he seemed to be offended by black people- yes, I could tell from his hesitant and standoffish behavior such as him turning up his nose and rolling his eyes! (2) he DIDN'T hit ANY of the areas that were causing tension in me such as my knees and right lower back! (3) his overall technique was that of a THAI/SWEDISH massage and NOT a deep tissue. His technique was COMPLETELY OFF!!!!! (4) the worst part? He FOLLOWED me around to "ensure that he got a tip." It was so bad that even the front desk noted this and was disturbed. This was THE most disturbing interaction that I have ever had in a massage clinic and I WILL NOT BE BACK. Do yourselves a favor and got to a LEGIT massage clinic because this is NOT it. They are located in a small plaza, near a thrift store and a few small eating establishments but the overall vibe of the location is quaint and most importantly, quiet and thankfully calm with no large crowds. Nobody wants to leave a massage parlor with a thousand eyes on them, at least I don't. My go-to gal is Misa. She is incredibly efficient, smart with her work, delicate but precise and MAN does she get all my knots - pretty painlessly as well. She's terrific and I will gladly make the 40 min+ drive out to her. She's super warm and friendly and she is communicative with me and I just appreciate her so much. Our last massage left us in a nearly comatose state of relaxation so we just stood in the parking lot of the facility for a bit soaking the pleasant sun and breezy beach air and it was beautiful. I purchased a two-hour deep tissue massage with gua sha for $215. This was my first visit, and at that price point, I expected a top-tier deep tissue massage. Unfortunately, my first massage was a huge disappointment. My massage therapist was very nice, but being nice doesn't get the job done when you're paying specifically for a therapeutic deep tissue service. I asked multiple times for firmer pressure, yet for almost the entire two hours, it felt much more like a light Swedish massage than deep tissue work. I left feeling essentially no different than when I walked in. The gua sha add-on was also mediocre at best. I honestly couldn't tell what benefit I received from it, and it felt more like the tool was simply being moved around rather than being incorporated into meaningful therapeutic work. Considering I had paid $215, I left extremely frustrated. I still tipped my therapist because I appreciated her time and kindness, but the actual service was nowhere near what I expected. To her credit, she followed up with me by email afterward with aftercare instructions and asked how I was feeling. I gave her my honest feedback and explained that I didn't feel any improvement. I also said that if she wasn't comfortable or able to provide the level of firm pressure I needed, I wanted to speak with management and have the massage redone with someone who truly specializes in deep tissue work. This is where G Medical Spa redeemed itself. Management reached out, listened to my concerns, and scheduled a redo with Brad Evans. I genuinely want to thank management for listening to my feedback and making the experience right. They could have easily dismissed my concerns, but instead they took responsibility for my experience and gave me an opportunity to receive the service I originally expected. Brad absolutely killed it. THIS was the deep tissue massage I had originally expected. I had never booked with a male massage therapist before because I thought I might feel uncomfortable, but Brad was completely professional and made me feel safe and comfortable from beginning to end. He communicated with me throughout the massage about pressure and worked with me to find the right level of firmness, particularly in the areas where I was experiencing significant pain and tension. Instead of just going through the motions, we communicated throughout the session so he could actually address what my body needed. He provided the firm pressure I had originally requested while still making sure I was comfortable. I finally walked away feeling like I had received an actual therapeutic deep tissue massage and gotten the pain relief I was looking for. Brad was amazing, professional, attentive, and clearly skilled at deep tissue work. I tipped him well because he absolutely deserved it. I also want to mention that the front desk receptionist was friendly and welcoming during both of my visits. Even though I wasn't happy with my original massage, my interactions with the front desk were positive both times. While my initial experience would have resulted in a very negative review, I have to give G Medical Spa credit for how they handled my complaint. Businesses aren't always going to get everything right the first time. What matters to me is how they respond when a customer tells them something went wrong. Management listened, took my concerns seriously, and ultimately made the experience right. Thank you to management for taking care of me, and a huge thank you to Brad for completely changing my impression of G Medical Spa.
