What's most valuable is the opportunity to get inspired by a "look" which you may want to use in your home. I enjoy the decorative objects and looking inside the cabinets where might be jewelry or watches. If you happen to be Healdsburg, stop by St Dizier and pick up a gift either for someone else or for you.

My suggestion would be treat each customer with, at the minimum, a little respect and thankfulness that they came into your establishment. My wife and I are finishing up a complete remodel (to the studs) of a second home in Occidental (and are buying another property there as well). We need to furnish the entire house from scratch and are looking for higher-end or unique furniture. When we walked into Saint Dizier on 3/31/16 (my wife was in her business clothes and I was in jeans and a collared shirt) we were not greeted by the two women working, in fact we were completely ignored, then one of them walked past us brusquely with a broom and said "I hate when it rains and all the peddles from the trees get tracked into the store". Uh, then don't open the store when it rains and stay home. We were specifically looking at a suede / leather couch and I actually had a couple of questions (including the availability of complementing pieces) but these two women could not have cared less. I don't have time or patience for bad service and as we walked out of the store there was not even a "thank you, come again or a goodbye". I am going to drop $4-5K on a couch (not including the rest of living room) and outfit 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, dining room, and a couple of bathrooms. I guess they don't need the business, which is good because they won't be getting mine. Aloof and pretentious service went out of style decades ago... SDH bills itself as a showroom with design "experts" whose purpose is to collaborate with clients - unfortunately they are caught up in their own hype and self-importance... and subsequently just had a big project walk out the door.

I knew I was way out of my element since I've never built a home from the ground up (and never wanted to, if we're being honest) and I knew I needed professional help. Natasha and the team helped me not only to design my dream home, but to enjoy the process too. They were able to take my vision and give me the tools to bring it to life. They were able to offer reassurance that everything would work out. Natasha and her crew offer so much insight and have deep knowledge of the entire process which was really valuable for me when I questioned what I was hearing from our new contractor. I can not recommend Natasha and Inspired Spaces enough for any project. They have the skills, the local connections, the design eye and they also have heart. They care a lot about their clients and it shows in every aspect of how they show up.

But her ability to listen and distill our swirling, incoherent ideas into something truly beautiful makes her a superstar. We have a 70's ranch house set down in the woods. The house is about 40 years old, we have been in it for 25 years, and had it had never received much attention. It was always too dark and closed off. There was a funky West County hallway that was also two bathrooms. We loved raising our children here, but now we were ready to open it up to the redwood trees and sunshine outside. We had a contractor who was really good with the structure, but we had no idea how to put the rooms together. Within moments of meeting Natasha we felt 100 percent comfortable. She never once sold herself to us, or tried to move us in a direction we were uncomfortable with. Instead, she urged us to shop where we were comfortable, find deals on Craigslist, and repurpose existing furniture. She delighted in our finds, encouraged us at every turn, and turned every one of our perplexed meanderings into an encouraging way forward. From the first painted color brushed onto the first new wall, everything Natasha picked was stunning. We spent months in disbelief as each color and recommendation made its way from proposal to reality. In the world of construction, we found out that things don't happen all at once. Sometimes it would take weeks for all the colors and elements of Natasha's design in a room or space to come together, and every time we were giddy with satisfaction. Our beautiful house literally brings tears to our eyes. We feel so grateful that we met Natasha and that she gave us this incredible space. This was our first project and we are spoiled now. Natasha took our every thought and turned our home into something that is both uniquely our own creation, and, impossibly beyond anything we could have managed on our own. Oh yeah, and her staff is courteous, responsive, kind and warm and talented in their own right. Thank you, Natasha! Thank you Inspired Spaces.

Furniture needed to fit together just right, and available storage was very limited. I also wanted to refresh my interior style and replace all my IKEA pieces with better-made ones, but was also working on a budget. After getting a total brain cramp from trying to figure it out on my own, I reached out to Jill after reading her great Yelp reviews. Jill's thoughtful design of my limited space (literally, down to the inch) allowed me to fit in all the seating and storage space I need and still keep the space airy and open. Her knowledge of the best stores, manufacturers and styles for my vision and budget ended up saving me a lot of money and headaches in the long run. We've had a lot of fun working together with Pinterest boards, sharing ideas and looking at colors. Not only has Jill helped with this project enormously, but she taught me so much about decorating and design in the process. And her price is certainly fair for a professional service. I've been recommending Jill to every friend who moves in to a new place. If you're considering getting help with your home, definitely call her for a consultation!

For weeks we lived on an air mattress and plastic folding chairs, then one day we found Jill's awesome website and gave her a call. She came over, saw our sad state of affairs and got to work immediately. From the beginning, Jill really got what we liked and didn't like, helped us organize and clarify our sometimes vague and scattered ideas, and was very accurate in estimating our costs and timeline. She was hands-on and responsive, and she took a lot of pressure off us by arranging painters, handymen and furniture orders. Jill is so great at what she does. In a short period of time, she transformed our ho-hum empty apartment into an awesome space that's totally comfortable yet always ready for a fancy party. We love having people over now! Thanks, Jill!
