We had the pleasure of working with Wendy for our 1bed+den/1.5bath SOMA loft. Our space is essentially a large rectangle with a non-enclosed den in the back. Wendy's design not only spelled out the functionality of each portion of the loft well, but also made the entire space much brighter and airier. She has a great eye for blending colors as well as textures along with the natural finishes of the staircase, flooring, and cabinetry. We really liked the custom artwork she had for the living room wall, which was painted with some of the same colors and tones as a matching pairs of silk pillows placed on the sofa. If you are on the fence about staging, we'd say that it really is going to be worth your while. I contacted Wendy and her team to stage my condo and ultimately maximize the selling potential. Her quick response and knowledgeable message was just what I needed (especially in my frazzled state of mind!). After thoughtful feedback via email, Wendy worked around my schedule to find a time to drive over to my condo (so considerate!). I could tell as soon as she walked in the door that her awareness of interior design was so adept and sharp; I knew I was in good hands. She was very detail-oriented, pointing out the smallest quirks in the condo that could be re-imagined with a more aesthetic visual. I had no idea that a small pouf in the corner of a room could be re-located to make the room brighter and bigger, leveraging that same piece of furniture somewhere else in the condo for a better appeal. Her eye for design and sense of space is truly awe-inspiring. I honestly did not recognize the condo after she finished working her magic, I was speechless and so incredibly elated with the final design. Words cannot describe how tickled I was (and still am!). The overall staging product looked cohesive and complete in every room. The attention to detail, tasteful color schemes, and overall flow was amazing. From re-arranging the larger pieces of furniture to adding the smaller touches (such as living room pillows, coffee table items, and artwork), I cannot believe how beautiful the condo looked. Even the bathrooms had complete setups, which is amazing in itself (considering bathrooms can be quite dull). Honestly, I am still mesmerized by the final product. Wendy Trotter came highly recommended from my colleagues at Climb Real Estate. All of the outstanding recommendations couldn't begin to even remotely describe how truly wonderful she is. Even though she is incredibly busy, (you can tell this because her business cards are in homes with gorgeous staging all over the city), she is prompt to return a call, reasonable in terms of extensions, close times and removals and is incredibly creative in her approach. She personally built a for sale sign to be placed on concrete sidewalk for us where there was no place to do a typical in-ground real estate sign. She even delivers the sign and stores it in her warehouse. I haven't even gotten to her skilled design style yet. Stylistically, her work is profound! The latest home we worked on together had a smaller living room and was heavily over-furnished by the Seller. It wouldn't have even occurred to me to place the furniture the way that she did to open up the room and accentuate the windows and outdoor space. Although this is our very first time selling a home, it would be very difficult indeed to imagine how a staging service could be any better than Wendy's. We were operating on a very tight schedule, but she did a truly wonderful job even in the short time we gave her to work with. Our place is a gigantic (over 1450 sq ft) loft - a real loft, an open barn with no interior doors or walls (except for the bathrooms, of course). Using only furnishings and accessories, Wendy gave it very distinct living, dining, bedroom and lounge areas without sacrificing any of the wide-open, light-filled airiness that is the very essence of this type of home.
