I'm a proud MyPhone user. Though many people may look down on this brand for: 1) not being Apple/iPhone; 2) being local; and 3) being cheap, I have always liked its phone's features. See, I like my phone affordable so I don't feel bad when I lose/break it, and so I can replace it yearly. But I also want it to be packed with great features, and in this aspect, MyPhone definitely does not disappoint.
Anyway, I'm writing this review, in particular, for the MyPhone branch at Robinson's Place, which sells all things MyPhone, and also acts as a service center where you bring your MyPhone gadget to facilitate repair or replacement. I got my Agua Rio from there last year.
Unfortunately, the unit turned out to be defective. It was my fault, though, for failing to check all the phone's feature before I ponied up cash. I only discovered after my sister checked out my purchase when I got home that the motion sensor was unresponsive. (Who uses motion sensors anyway? Not me.) I notified the Robinson's Place branch via phone of the defect, and they were very accommodating. I was asked to come back to the store, where they checked the unit, and offered to replace it. There was no stock of the color I wanted, though, so they promised to order it and notify me so I don't waste my time coming back repeatedly. My questions were answered promptly and I was notified via text of the availability of my unit. I've experienced no problems with the phone since.
My Agua Rio is now my third MyPhone, and I'm saving up to buy the Agua Rio 2 next month. read more
