Just recently, I also bought a 64gb iPad Air 2 from them, and I got it for 28,000PHP, which at the time was a very good price (this was back in January, so it was a new model). Today, you can get a 128gb iPad Air 2 for less than that from online retailers (kind of annoying and sayang, I know). However, I don't regret having bought the iPad that early because it's been helping me a lot with work. Liteware is also a great place to buy cases from. Especially when they're on sale, their prices can go as low as half of store retail prices. That's huge, considering how important cases are for these expensive gadgets. What I don't like however is that Liteware charges extra for credit card payments and installations. That's a huge turn-off because a consumer shouldn't be paying for a STORE to provide an alternative payment option. Not everyone wants to travel in this wild city with 31,000 pesos in cash (the price of the iPad Air 2 had the store manager not made the mistake of telling me I wouldn't have to pay extra to use my credit card), and it should be the store's responsibility to protect the consumer because that money is going to end up in their cash register. Anyway, even with the credit card additions, the prices are still lower than SRP's, albeit by only a small amount. The staff is also pretty accommodating and helpful, so that's a big plus.

I even go to Isko until now whenever I had to upload some huge file on the net. My "12 hours remaining time" of uploading at home is just minutes of waiting time with this computer shop. It definitely makes my computer life efficient up to now! Most people who go here use computers for academic and professional purposes, (I'm not sure if they allow gamers here but I haven't seen one in any of my visits) that's why it has a somewhat library feel, perfect for writing and researching. The staff in Isko is also commendable for being professional with work. You can count on them to trouble shoot any technical difficulties that you may have with the computer that you're using, plus, they're also very alert when it comes file printing and logging in and out of costumers. Rates are only P10/hour of internet, and around P2.00 - P5.00 for their black and white and colored printing. Really cheap compared to most internet shops in the metro. Everything in UP Shopping Center is cheap, anyway, so go there if you're looking for budget computer, photocopy and printing services.

For the architects and engineers out there, they also have a big copying machine that can copy or print out large-scale architectural plans. They also offer book-binding services available in varying sizes, create calling cards and even have an in-house design team that can help you out with your minimal design needs. Personally, I think the cost for their services is very affordable and the quality of printing is also quite good. Though make sure not to get too nitpicky about the kinds of paper stock available as there are only limited choices.

At least internet speed is decently fast all the time. The owner seems to be some kind of gun and motorcycle fancier, which is not really my thing. And the kids playing games can get rowdy at times. But otherwise it's a good place to get some real work done. I got sold on them when I needed a photocopy of my ID. Since it was just a few bucks, they didn't charge me at all. This is the big dif with small businesses. They can afford to be friendly with some of their customers. Besides internet, they also have the usual services like printing and lamination. Just outside their façade is the only place nearby that sells newspapers. Since Eleonorsque has been around for a few years, it looks to be a business that will be around for a few more years. We went to this place behind Gilmore, there was a hallway that led to a room that hap about six or seven stalls. DBM was one of them. There was a team ready to assist me. I asked for a battery and a charger for my laptop. I gave them the model and they had someone get it. While we were waiting for the battery and charger, I asked them how much it was going to cost me. Having a bit of Chinese running in my veins, I haggled. I asked them if I could get a discount and they really did give me a discount, a big one. When they learned I could speak bisaya, they gave me an additional discount. I was just so happy. They were very friendly too and even joked around with me. When the guy came back, I got my new charger and battery. I paid a very discounted amount and I was on my way. But before I left, I thanked all of them for being very friendly and accommodating. I had my exhibit piece printed digitally on canvas years ago, and it came out beautifully. The colors are accurately reproduced, and the materials they use are sure to last long, as my artwork still hasn't faded after more than 3 years. For film aficionados, they also offer professional film processing, and are among the few places left in Manila that still do this. Turnaround time here isn't always speedy as sometimes they have too many jobs queued up, but they're pretty reliable. Best to have your prints made at least a week or two before you need them, especially if they're big, major projects.

The most important service they offer is processing for slide or E-6 films. While most film shooters are happy with cross-processing slides, nothing beats the vivid awesomeness of E-6. Since it's niche now, you usually would have to wait for a whole batch of films to be processed so that they can maximize the chemicals they're using. This particular computer shop is pretty decent compared to typical internet cafes that pop up around the neighborhood, those that get crammed to the brim with screaming kids wanting to fucking kill each other over a LoL game. Makes my blood boil how a ten year old can scream bloody murder in public over such a trifle. Anyway. The shop was pretty clean, with dimmed lights, and a good amount of properly set-up computer systems that promise peace and quiet. Until the owners started playing, too. I tell ya, it's one thing to hear a ten year old shouting obscenities, it's another to see a grown man screaming the same. Quite disturbing. Shop's okay. Owners, not so much.
