I have two Beyond the Box branch favourite but I chose to write here at the Greenhills branch page…read morebecause I bought more items (gadgets) here and at the other one (Robinson's Galleria) I've only bought accessories. I think everyone who goes to Beyond the Box GH has fallen in love with its design, the place simply looks awesome! and the displays would definitely make you want to buy. They have almost everything there so you won't have go out and buy else where. One thing I've learned from buying at Beyond the Box is that they have this magical thing called cash discount which you can really appreciate when buying gadgets because you'll feel the big discount. That and they have a 1 week replacement and 1 year service warranty. Price-wise, it's sometimes cheaper to buy there if you can believe it and the sense of security that warranty brings me since I'm one of those people who's really unlucky when it comes to buying gadgets.

As opposed to their computer iStudio that's chosen to go with a monotonous color scheme, it's all about color here. There's plenty to explore within the premises: if you're in search of new earphones or headphones, they've got it. There are phone cases, iPad cases, iPod touch cases, laptop cases, etc. And then there are speakers. If you're a techie or a gadget person, come through. This is in your element.

Are you that type of cellphone user who just loves a lot of case designs and can't stick to one…read morecase? Well, you and me both, my friend. Don't fret, Digibabe is here for us! They have a wide array of cellphone cases (from Samsung to Apple and others), and along with it is a series of great designs for all personality types out there (girly? minimalistic? tribal? colorful? tacky? nerdy? dreamy? what have you!). Not only these, but their prices are also affordable (the lowest price I think is around 200 Pesos, but depending on the brand and material, they have some cases around 400 Pesos). Still alright, right? Especially when you're going to change your case again next month.

This is a little gem that I stumbled upon while exploring Robinson's Forum in Pioneer Mandaluyong…read more The store sells mobile phone accessories. They have racks upon racks of cellphone cases, more than enough to allow you to change your cellphone case every single day. One delightful discovery is the charging and data cable that I purchased from them. It's one of those flat types that don't get tangled up. This is perfect for the " burara " types like me who just shove and cram everything in my bag when I need to go out. No chance of you retrieving your cable only to find out that your pens and USB dongle has hitched themselves to your cable. And it is one of those fast charging cables which is a big plus for me. My charging time was cut into half. They also come in several colors from the conservative gray, black or white to the more flamboyant neon pink, avocado green and neon orange. The cable is such a steal for its price that I returned to the said store four more times to purchase more cables for my officemates. The staff are also very friendly and accomodating. They make sure that everything you purchase is in good order by having you test them to your satisfaction. With stores selling cellphone accessories sprouting like mushrooms everywhere you look, this is definitely one that I won't hesitate to go back to.

After all, the competition in the mobile market is quite intense. There are so many different brands out there to choose. People have so much choice that they're practically spoiled already. MyPhone represents the Filipino way of doing business. It's cheap, but nevertheless of decent, if not good, quality. Their phones are far from the best, but they still produce phones with decent specs. The great thing about buying MyPhones is that you'll know that you're supporting a local brand and therefore are able to help boost the economy. I imagine that most people wouldn't give this brand a shot since it carries with it the stigma that its locally made. It might not be produced by the likes of Apple or Samsung, but MyPhone is still a good enough brand to consider for those looking to save some of their money in buying a new phone.

I'm a proud MyPhone user. Though many people may look down on this brand for: 1) not being…read moreApple/iPhone; 2) being local; and 3) being cheap, I have always liked its phone's features. See, I like my phone affordable so I don't feel bad when I lose/break it, and so I can replace it yearly. But I also want it to be packed with great features, and in this aspect, MyPhone definitely does not disappoint. Anyway, I'm writing this review, in particular, for the MyPhone branch at Robinson's Place, which sells all things MyPhone, and also acts as a service center where you bring your MyPhone gadget to facilitate repair or replacement. I got my Agua Rio from there last year. Unfortunately, the unit turned out to be defective. It was my fault, though, for failing to check all the phone's feature before I ponied up cash. I only discovered after my sister checked out my purchase when I got home that the motion sensor was unresponsive. (Who uses motion sensors anyway? Not me.) I notified the Robinson's Place branch via phone of the defect, and they were very accommodating. I was asked to come back to the store, where they checked the unit, and offered to replace it. There was no stock of the color I wanted, though, so they promised to order it and notify me so I don't waste my time coming back repeatedly. My questions were answered promptly and I was notified via text of the availability of my unit. I've experienced no problems with the phone since. My Agua Rio is now my third MyPhone, and I'm saving up to buy the Agua Rio 2 next month.

Did you lose the stylus of your Samsung Galaxy Tab or Samsung Galaxy Note again, you silly person?…read more(the heck is with you, those things are pricey!) Do you need a replacement Blackberry or a casing for it? How about a Bluetooth keyboard for your iPad? Whatever popular accessory you need for your phone or gadget, you can find it at Unicel. Located at a small nook of a store near the Greenbelt1 movie theaters, Unicel stocks mostly (there are some "class-A" ones there too, be sure to ask as some may not have a warranty) original accessories for your Nokia, Samsung, Blackberry (do people even still use those?), and Apple devices. I once bought a screen protector for my iPad mini there, and it was deftly installed by their lone saleslady. I forget her name, but she's quite professional and courteous. Believe me, this is important, because there are some stores near Unicel that are less than pro and can be a bit rude. Unicel also stocks a number of accessories like the new iPad charging cables (Lightning cables), casings, styluses (styli?), and even those "fisheye" lens attachments for your iPhone camera lens. UPDATE: Unicel has unfortunately closed down over a year ago. Kind of like how almost a couple of years ago I signed up for Yelp, told them I couldn't meet the 40 or so reviews within their deadline, so stopped at around 20 reviews, but didn't get paid a centavo for what is now uploaded here. Thanks, Yelp, for being as untrustworthy as everyone else!
