So I decided to just go in and buy it. Same dog and pony show. I said, please, just let me pay for the belt (as I needed it ASAP). He let me buy it and then stormed off into the back with a profanity laced, "It's not my___ fault if it ___ doesn't ____ work. NO RETURNS." It worked. It cost 4 times as much as the exact same brand and size on the internet. I will NEVER step foot in that store again. Ask the locals. Ask the guys next door at ACE hardware. I dropped off my mower on a Tuesday. I had told it would be ready by Friday. The mower has already…read morebeen down for a week. We had new parts to order because a was paying for a maintenance service and whatever new parts I needed to get the mower working. I called Friday, no answer I called Saturday no answer then i messaged the business thru the Yelp app and got a response to pick up lower at 1:00. I showed up at 130 and he was still working on it.. he told me he didn't order any new parts and he replaced my blades with better used blades. Changed oil and air filter. That was it. The mower started right up. But when I got it home it wouldn't start. I message the business back and they told me to bring it back tomorrow. They will be there all day. I showed up today to bring the mower back. And the business was closed. Mind you I have a one way 25 minute drive to get to the business and for no one to be there very unprofessional. And it costs me my time and effort. I was carded $80 for the fixes that did work out. And I gave the guy a $20 tip cause I'm trying to build relationships. The 3 times my husband has been in this business the manager is erratic, pacing, waving his arms and nervously laughing. The first time we were there he looked at my husband and told him that his sidearm was triggering his PTSD and he needed to close up and go to an appointment. Another time we called to verify they were open arriving 30 minutes later the shop was then closed during posted business hours. Another time to pick up our weed trimmer which the manager said while again oddly laughing that they serviced it but didn't replace the worn feeder assembly which is why it was brought in - not a service. We were charged $150 for a service we didnt authorize and still have to repair the unit. As one with diagnosed PTSD-C, I wouldn't normally publicize someone else's disability however the manager publicly told us within the buisness walls that he suffers from PTSD and other conditions, his nonsensical rambling, body movements, uncontrollable laughing makes for a very unsafe customer environment and I feel its important that someone speaks out before something bad happens. You can check online to see what parts are in stock and this location often seems to always have what we're looking for. They have no problem with. Extra calls to confirm what they've got, peeking at parts before you buy them, returns...all the transactions are easy. Staff are great: friendly, helpful, kind. I like this spot.

I just wanted to give a heads up to people bringing their battery in to be charged l brought a…read morebattery a while back and when I went to pick it up I followed the clerk into the back he located the battery he looked a t the slip and told me that the battery would not take a charge I told him the battery was just a few months old a top of the line ac deco and told him to put it on the charger which he did and it took a charge I was using it to power my radio so I did it again and about two months later it needed a charge I went to pick k it up they gave it to me like it was all charged up I carried it outside stopped and looked a the tag which said will not take a charge I turned around and went to the clerk who handed me the battery and told him to go and charge my battery you told me last time I was here the same thing he didn't question me and told me to come back in an hour without even check the battery I came back and it was charged I can only say this if they tell you your battery will not take a charge have them prove it and save yourself the cost of a new battery
