Husband bought me something here the day before I came in to return bc the bracelet was too big. They REFUSE to give a refund unless you want store credit. Literally refuse. What kind of crap store does not allow returns? Oh and I can call the manager but she is on vacation a week. Wonderful. They offer no other solution. Mykonos is one of my favorite stores for jewelry, fashions and great gifts! I had a great experience the other day when I stopped in to see about a Kendra Scott bracelet I had broken. I was looking for someplace to send it to for repair. They called their Kendra Scott rep right why I waited and beyond all expectations, I walked out with a replacement bracelet. Mykonos is such a fun place to shop for snazzy separates that look great on my size 12 body. They have a wonderful line c called Sympli that is sleek, comfortable and flattering; the jersey they are made of is soft and flowing. The staff is friendly, helpful and fun. About 20 years ago, I stopped shopping here because I found the owner rude. I recently went back to buy a gift and should never have given them another chance. While they have a nice selection of items, the salesperson was reluctant to take them out of the showcase. When I chose something and was paying, the owner was directing the salesperson to stop helping me and to go help another customer. They didn't even offer to gift wrap. If they had been more accommodating I would have bought more that day since there were several items that interested me, but if they won't let me see them, I certainly can't buy them. I am a middle aged professional and came into the store well dressed. They lost 20 years of my business and now they will lose at least 20 more. read more

Not very friendly people! Trying to return an Alex and Ani gift without a receipt! Wow, who knew there were so many hoops to jump through! I called another local Alex and Ani distributor and they helped me immediately with an exchange! One would think if you carry a name brand you would be able to make an even exchange!! Very, very rude people! I had a similar experience a year ago at this same shop and thought I should try again! I've come here many times to buy gifts for wife. The staff is always very friendly and extremely patient and more than helpful. They have a great selection and my wife always loves everything I bring home from here. We had a jewel fall out of one her Pandora charms, and they replaced it on the spot...no questions asked. I've been to other jewerly stores where they are always pressuring for the sale, but that's not the case here. I always feel that their top priority is to serve me at the highest level possible. Dropped off a Pandora bracelet in August of 2013 for repair. Employee told me they would call in 4-6 weeks when the fixed bracelet came in. Let me just start by saying they NEVER called me SIX MONTHS they had it. I called 5 times and they gave me excuses each time...followed by "don't worry we will call you when it comes in". My final call last week (Feb 2014), the owner says to me...and I can not make this up..."we were going to call you today". REALLY? After six months of getting not one call...you were going to call me on the exact day I called you first. AND...I am 100% sure the bracelet was replaced and not repaired. So why couldn't you have replaced it months ago? I am no jeweler but anyone could have looked at my bracelet and know it would not have been able to be repaired. There was no reason to keep it from me for almost 6 months. So...buy your Pandora items/get them repaired at one of the MANY other option you have. read more

My Pandora bracelet broke so I went to Mykonos last week and had horrible, rude service - the salesperson knew nothing about Pandora and blamed me for my bracelet breaking! Neither the owner or manager were in the store, I was so upset I sent an email to the owner and then left two messages (when she was in the store) and she never called back. Have shopped at this boutique for years, before they sold Pandora and Brighton. Always had great service and received great products. When switched to more Pandora and Brighton, continued to enjoy great experiences and have bought a significant amount from them, including an entire set of Brighton luggage. However, I cannot say the same for the new "section" of the store. I'm not certain, but I believe there is a separate owner in the attached section now, selling clothing and some jewelry. I purchased a pair of jeans there before the holidays (very expensive jeans) to take on vacation. Was told final sale, which I had no problem with - I tried them on. First time I wore them, with a white silk blouse - blouse was ruined with blue ink and it got all over me - I had to keep washing my hands because I was not at home to change. I washed them, thinking that would solve the problem (like the old days, when you bought cheap jeans). Took them on vacation - same experience with the ink but was able to change more quickly. The worst part is that, when I took them back to the store, the woman who I presume is the owner, who saw me come in, ignored me blatantly, ran into the back, and sent a salesperson to assist. The salesperson was polite, listened to my story, went into the back, came back out and said she could not do anything to help me - "just keep washing them". When I told her that was not acceptable and that I would like to speak to someone in charge, was told no one is available. I don't know who is running that section of this store, but they CLEARLY do not understand the boutique business. Would suggest that anyone going there not move out of the first section, where professionalism and service are understood. read more
