It used to be a flat fee of $60 now they have it on a tier level based on the prescription. When I questioned the front desk, they said more supplies are used, well during exam nothing, nothing changed at all!!! I will now be looking for a new eye care doctor. The greedy of the large corporations is getting out of control. My insurance doesn't cover the contact prescription exam, only the annual exam which includes glasses. So out of pocket was over $98 just to get my prescription for contacts. Then they will still bill my insurance for another payment.

When we made the appointments we were told $140 out of pocket since they don't take our insurance. When we got there, they verified that they do not take our insurance and she gave us the "self pay-out of pocket" waiver to sign. We were then told it would be up to $250. Not the $140 they quoted us. I can't comment on the exam itself since we left. Just want others to be aware and clarify EVERY cost before you make an appointment.

I've purchased the exact same frames from this office for the past three times, every other year. The last two years, the front desk staff mis-ordered my frames. Both times, I had to make an extra trip just to discover the mistake. Instead of taking responsibility, they acted like it was somehow my fault -- even though it's the same frames I order every time. Come on. Let's talk about pricing. In 2023, my total was: Frames: $210 Lenses: $60 Exam: $60 Total: $330 Fast forward to December 2025: Frames: $330 (same frames) Lenses: $100 Exam: $99 That's a massive jump in just two years. When I went to pick up my glasses (after waiting for them to come in), I questioned the pricing because I genuinely thought it might be a mistake. I was then told that since I "upgraded" after the first mis-order, I actually owe them more money. What?? The front desk told me the suggested retail was $264 and that they mark that up -- somehow that becomes over $330. Meanwhile, the suggested retail on the original frames is $227, which means they're marking them up over 45%. Just wow. I chose to leave without causing a scene, but the combination of repeated ordering errors, dismissive customer service, and dramatic price increases is unacceptable. Patients deserve accountability, transparency, and fair pricing. Unfortunately, I experienced none of that here. I will be taking my business elsewhere

Since she needed glasses same-day, I looked up who does that and if they had a good kids selection, which Eyeglass World popped up. The associate, LeOnnie, was very helpful, patient, listened, and went over the top in helping me get the best deal (out of pocket vs using insurance). My daughter's glasses were ready in 2 hours! A different associate helped fit my daughter's glasses and she was just wonderful with her, she had a calming presence and took her time to adjust them for her.
