We noticed that it seemed to "bounce" on opening since purchasing it, but about 24 hours prior to the service we noticed that after completing an opening cycle the door would start to slip down. ProLift technician Jared, was able to come out within an hour of my telephone call. He diagnosed the problem and consulted with other staff at the company to provide me with solution: increasing the spring tension, lubricating the end bearing and rollers, and resetting the limits on the opener. There was no charge for the service call, only the labor, which amounted to $159 for our two-car-sized door. I did locate a sticker in the garage that suggested perhaps Precision had installed the door when the home was constructed. Jared also found some indicator on the hardware indicating Precision had installed it. I had called Precision after initally scheduling the appointment with ProLift, and Precision wanted $95 just to come out. I told them, "No, thank you." We recommend ProLift for being prompt, affordable, and friendly.

Rob showed up today an hour early, which is a good thing, and we chatted about the previous work he did on my house three years ago, and what was needed this time around. I called Integrity Garage Door Repair, on Decembers 18, 2024, to come out and quote me for a garage…read moredoor repair. The repairman was Tony, and he also brought a trainee with him. After assessing what needed to be done, they stated I needed new springs on the garage door. I was charged $746. Unbeknownst to me, this would create a problem down the line. On today, April 28, 2026, I had to contact another company for the same issue that I had previously with the garage door. This company after assessing the door stated the springs that were installed were not the proper size. The technician explained that the weight of my door was too much for the springs that were installed. There's nothing wrong with the springs just that they were too small. I reached out to Integrity to inform them of what was just discovered. I spoke with James who answered the call. Explain to him what was going on and he's expressed that because the warranty was up, he would have to charge me in order to have someone come out. To that I advised him, it was not my fault that they installed the wrong size of the springs. I would not have known what I needed when I contacted them for the repair. He then advised he would contact his boss to find out what can be done. All of this occurred at 9 o'clock this morning, and I have yet to hear anything from anyone. This is a poor representation of a company that is supposed to have so many years of experience in doing these repairs. Not only that, their repairman, Tony, was training an individual on that particular day. The young man that he was training did not speak English or very limited English, to which he asked me if it were OK if he spoke to him in their language. To which I had no problem with that. All I wanted them to do today is either reimburse me at least a portion of the money that I paid and come and get their springs. This should have never occurred and they need to make it right until something is done, this review will remain. Integrity is only in their name because they do not have any.
