Top notch service!…read more I recently had my Sunesta awning get stuck in the open position. The motor failed and the weather forecast was for wind and showers. I contacted Express Sunrooms on a Friday night and Jeff and Scott responded the next morning securing the awning in its closed position and diagnosing the motor problem. The motor arrived about 2 weeks later and Jeff installed it. In addition, he noticed the brackets pulling away from the house because the house was not designed to hold an awning, so Express Sunrooms re-installed the awning with a header board that not only looks nice but will hold the awning securely. I cannot say enough good things about the service, response and professionalism that Express Sunrooms in Ladson demonstrated in solving this problem for me. Then the installation crew damaged the framing to my porch. Instead of fixing it properly they just offered us money to do it ourselves which was not suitable and did a bad patch job when they finally returned. Now to the present, 3 of my shades are broken and I have been calling the office for over 1.5 month and the "service" person has never responded or called. We live on a 0.4 acre lot (which is "land" where we are at in MtP lol) and he mows/edges the front for $60 and then entire yard for $100. As far as I know, it's a good price. If he misses a spot he will come back and fix it if you tell him, so I added a star for that. But most places get the job done the first time. When we actually needed a lot of overgrowth on our side yard cut down, I actually reached out to another company because I didn't think NB did this. I let him know and he offered to do it for an additional $250. We just needed a more clear path to our back gate and wanted a little less of an eye sore. He was coming to mow the following day anyway, so we agreed to let him do it. Unfortunately, it started as an overgrown eye sore and ended as a strangely trimmed eye sore. Just weird that a landscaping company would think that was a good finished product. I'm just thankful that we don't have an HOA!! My husband has since been out there since to make it slightly more visually appealing. On the inside of the same area we asked them to get the vines off of the fence and clean up the beds a little. The final product was very strange as well. The vines were cut, but then left hanging without cleanup...so I reached out to the owner who said he would come back and get that stuff, and he did. Just all around interesting experience. We have stuck with them because they're very affordable but if someone else came to us with a quote around the same, we would likely switch. Again, the workers are nice but have a lot to learn in my opinion!
