Sacred Society is beautiful inside with a lot of gorgeous giant plants and ginormous crystals! They have a retail store inside, but no more cafe. They said they were renovating to be able to host more space for wellness and treatments. I love a wellness cafe tho! The Valentine's Manifestation event was in a gorgeous room that was lined with large crystals, plants, white speakers and a water feature. The workshop was nice. I do want to return to experience a soundbath but I've never paid $60 for a soundbath in a commercial space before! It does seem ultra-professionally outfitted and acoustically specific so it may totally be worth it! I hope to go back soon! They did have a nice variety to oracle cards in their shop, but while they had a bunch of Rebecca Campbell decks, I would have liked to purchase her latest one, but that was not available in the shop.

I parked in the neighborhood behind them because there were no areas in front of the business to park. Anyways, I go in and the atmosphere is so warm and vibrant! Lots of plants, colors, and there is even a mini boutique on the front end of the place. I ordered one of their toast options. Super delicious, warm, and flavorful--also decently priced at $4.00! Service was great too. The one staff was friendly and walked me through the menu. The restrooms require a code. They were super clean and smelled good. Plenty of seating throughout the place. If I were to have a complaint is that a lot of their QR code links they had throughout their business were not working. The business seems new and it looks like the owners are still finishing some touches but overall--great place! I'll be coming back to explore the rest of the items on their menu.

Plus, the calzones are simply fantastic. I asked the twins where they wanted to go for dinner on their birthday and they both said, "The Afterburner". We walked in and were met by Hillary, one of the owners. She treated us like gold and chatted us up the entire time she was making our calzones. When we sat down with our beer and calzones, we were impressed by the sheer quantity of ingredients Hillary managed to jam into our calzones. It was my first experience with Franks Hot Sauce and that shit is addictive good. When Hillary found out if was their birthday, she gifted them both a huge chocolate chip cookie a piece. About halfway through our meal, the other owner walked in. His name is Ben. He chatted us up for an hour about planes and other such aviation oriented things. My sons had an absolute blast talking to Ben and bullshitting about all things military. The aviation theme and the references to TopGun make this place tons of fun. Thank you Hillary and Ben for making their birthday dinner incredible.

I rarely ever leave bad reviews, but this was the worst experience I've had in my entire life, and…read moreI've been EVERYWHERE. I was harassed to order and accused of using their wifi for free. I've never been treated with such poor customer service. Here is what happened: I walked into this tiny shop with 4-5 people in line. There was nowhere to stand so I took a spot in the corner to wait. I waited around 10 minutes for the line to go down; but I had already hopped into an important work call. My large (over the ear) headphones were on, yet the owner (or worker?) approached me and basically snapped his fingers at me asking what I wanted to order. I said I will order in a few minutes as I'm wrapping up an EXTREMELY important work item/call that cannot be interrupted. He came BACK 30 seconds later to tell me I need to order to sit there. I already have been having the worst day (I won't get into it) so I stood up and said I will no longer be ordering as I don't want to give a business who operates this way my money. I went outside to the table because I was unable to stop my work- he screamed that I need to order to use their wifi. I said "I'm on my phone's hotspot". He followed me out to point to the sign that says order to sit. I literally moved to the floor and this guy starts packing up all of the tables and chairs. They closed in 30 minutes so it appeared as if they wanted me to leave so they can close early since I was the only one in their shop. Then I heard him talking and laughing about me to the shop owner next door (recovering hipster) who loudly said "welcome to colfax" as if I'm a homeless person (there was one sitting on the curb 15 feet away btw!!). I was wearing my full suit and pant work outfit. WTF?? TLDR; they harassed me to order and accused me of using their wifi (I was on my phones hotspot btw- I've never been here to get their wifi password) all within me sitting there for less than a minute after the line died down. Extremely unprofessional and/or racist??? Never in my life have I been treated so poorly. Disgraceful. They proceeded to record me as if I was doing something illegal. I wonder if I am able to seek legal action about this, because how is this acceptable for a business to operate in such a way...Also- this place was extremely dirty, but that's the least worrisome thing here.

Don't let the construction on Colfax scare you and let's support these great establishments. I was greeted with a quick hello when I walked in. They have a wonderful menu and the pastries looked delicious! They only had earl great and jasmine tea options for what my hair dresser likes and took a bit longer than expected to order and get drink. Will be back and try other menu items soon. There are a few spots inside and the patio/sidewalk has space for sitting too.
