It had good reviews and was a woman-owned business so I reached out to them. The owner, Brandi, contacted me and asked questions about the job, and I filled her in on my needs. She assured me that they would clean "surfaces top to bottom, side to side, in every nook and cranny". I had two calls with Taylor, my leading cleaner, on the day of service. I was supposed to receive a call at the end of the day to go over what was completed but I never received one. When I went to the house the next day, there were a number of items that hadn't been touched and the house wasn't cleaned per my agreement with Brandi. I shared pictures with Brandi clearly showing that the job wasn't completed. That evening, I was surprised when my credit card was billed for $355 for the job. I still hadn't had a conversation with Brandi. The second day after the cleaning, Brandi called and she told me that I would have to discuss this with Taylor, and she would have Taylor call me. I didn't receive a call that day and spent the weekend waiting for a resolution. On Monday, I received a text from Brandi that Taylor would call me after their morning staff meeting. I didn't receive a call until after Noon. I was receiving three more hours to complete some of the cleaning. Taylor focused on the walls in the kitchen. However, when I got there, I found cleaning solution on the floor, on moldings and walls. I found pieces of sponge on the floor, and ended up spending time cleaning that up. I reached out to Brandi again and still haven't heard from her. I can't express the complete dissatisfaction in the whole experience with Homemaid Cleaning Services. From the slow response time, to lack of communication with me (and between Brandi and Taylor), to the poor cleaning job. Do yourself a favor, and don't call Homemaid.

They called me the Wednesday before the Monday that was scheduled, to confirm what I wanted cleaned, but I wanted to talk to my husband first before committing to a $200 clean. I was told I needed to make a decision then because I was going to be getting into cancellation fees if not. So I went ahead and said they could come for 4 hours Monday. Come Monday, I couldn't answer my phone and talk for the 30 minutes like they wanted, because I was at work, and from then on it was said to be a miscommunication, that only a few items were cleaned in my home that day, and my husband and I walked into our home still a mess. The floors were not cleaned or mopped, the kitchen table was not even wiped... the bathroom sink was not cleaned out or the mirror even wiped..I could go on!! We were appalled that our house was basically how we left it that morning, bedsides the microwave, kitchen sink, and two toilets looked good. I spoke with Taylor, who did the clean, and the manager Brandi, and the situation was going to try and be fixed. But then I didn't hear back, even after I had reached out via email, and asked for the quoted price to be reduced to better reflect what was actually cleaned. I still never received a reply back, almost a week later, and I've now been charged full price. Just disappointing and we still have a house needing cleaned!! Save yourself the hassle!

I myself am also an owner of my own Cleaning company. Coincidentally I met Mariah & Sidnie today at a two day accredited Cleaning course in Vancouver, Washington. The fact that these to young adults are willing to spend at least a couple thousand dollars to fly across country, get a rental car, hotel, and pay for this class so they can be better technicians and better prepared professionals in our industry speaks volumes to me. These are not two people who just decided to start a cleaning business because they thought it would be easy, they started a cleaning company because they are passionate and they want to do it right. I've been in this industry for over six years and I've seen a lot of hacks and a lot of start ups fail. I really believe Mint Cleaning is going to do very well. If you're considering a new cleaning company or you're looking to replace the current service you have now, give Mariah & Sidnie a call, you'll be impressed too.

I was fully transparent with what I was looking for and provided the instructions because I knew it was an odd task and I didn't want this to become exactly what it did... After two days and hundreds of dollars, I was left with a barely built and bent gazebo. This included whole pieces not put back on and a giant hole in the mosquito netting. Not only did they not complete the job, they ruined the gazebo. I received no reimbursement of any kind. And on top of everything, they were extremely late showing up both days and communication was terrible. Sucks because they were nice guys in person, but I don't think this is the right career path for them.
