The Tuesday spots my kids have are given to other students. However, there is nothing stated in the email that we as the parents are required to respond to the email if we want to keep the same schedule, or if we didn't respond to the email, our regular session will be given to other students. No one at the center has ever asked my kids if they want to keep the same Tuesday session or switch to a different schedule before or after their tutoring session on Tuesdays. I talked to the center director Norman wang right away, he was very angry and raised up his voice to tell me that your kids have been with Philip for 2 years on Tuesday doesn't mean that they can be with Philip on the same schedule for as long as you want?!! My kids tried to talk to the front desk this evening as well, the front desk person at c2 just told my kids that since your mom didn't respond to the email, we can do whatever we want. I have included the email they sent to me. This is really unfair. I think they treated us this way is because we purchase a big package($16k)from c2 about 2 years ago. Just be very careful parents, if you want to buy tutoring package from c2, pay attention to the hours they subtract as well. A few parents have warned me about this. My son (who actually does well with online learning) did the trial and felt he could do better on his own. I eventually got someone who did in person tutoring. In my experience, a lot of these online classes and tutors benefit the tutor but not the students. If you have a student who does well with online teaching, maybe this is okay. But if you want to pay big money, make sure you get results. For our family, the benefit of taking the SAT over and over was good. But not having any human interaction with the tutor or peers was not good. My son eventually scored a 1570 but with an in person tutor and taking the SAT five times.
