Yummm! Stopped in to get some boba drinks for our friends to take to go. We got about 4 drinks honeydew lychee and thai tea. Everything was fresh delicious and the drink portion size is huge. The lady was nice to give us a carrier and let us use their bathroom. Overall it came out quick service was nice the place was clean organized and we saw a lot of others ordering food. So next time we're in Capitola I'd like to come back and try the food!! read more

One of the best dinners in the Santa Cruz area. No one else was here, yet it felt comfortable and safe. Amazing service, even better food. Yummy boba tea and Vietnamese Coffee. I ordered the Pad See Ew and it was perfect texture and flavor. Crab Rangoons were the best I've ever had and came out right away, yet fresh. Pho was great and very comforting. On a whim, I decided to stop by and take a gander at the menu. One of my favorites was available: chicken Pad-Se-Ew. It was made to order and took about ten minutes. When it came, it was piping hot. There were lots of pieces of chicken which I appreciated, thick chopped carrots, zucchini, broccoli, and some bok Choy, and scrambled egg. The sweet black bean sauce was too lite for me; I needed more flavor. I would come back again and try other dishes to see if my rating would change. read more

Service here was great. I only got a Vietnamese coffee but they made it fresh for me since they didn't have any pre-made. There is a great view of the colorful houses in Capitola. I would say most of the place was clean but they could maybe clean the chairs. I saw a dead fly on one chair. read more

the people are so nice and the FOOD IS DELICIOUS. I did not get tons of dishes like i wanted since i'm broke, but i had the Pineapple curry, Beef Pho, and the Fried Calamari and they were amazing. The pineapple curry was a bit too spicy for me, but it didn't matter. I can't handle eating Takis so if you can handle that, you're good to go! Restaurant has so much natural light, the decorations were cool, and the tables doesn't seem to be too close to each other that you could hear other people's conversations as much. everything was clean and non sticky. be nice to the workers! thanks! read more

Me & my friend had already ordered pizza to go, but as soon as we walked by this place we HAD to eat here instead. The workers were so sweet and friendly, they even let us move to sit by the window. I ordered the Sweet Chili Stir Fry & added some peanut sauce and it was full of flavor, so so delicious. The menu had lots of options which I loved also and the view added the perfect vibe, we will for sure be back for more! read more

Such a good Thai spot!! I'm an avid Thai food enthusiast and I really enjoyed everything we ordered. We got 2 Thai iced teas (one with boba - one with coconut milk), green curry with tofu, and mango sticky rice. The mango sticky rice might be the best I've ever had. It was a little smaller than I was expecting for the price, but it was the perfect size after a healthy helping of curry. The server was the sweetest lady. Overall, highly recommend! read more

I had just got off work and I was hungry. I decided to step into My Thai Beach even though I have had a bad experience with them before. I thought they may have improved a bit. Unfortunately, they have gotten worse if that's even possible. First off, the whole place is very dirty and crowded with junk. They really need to get the place deep cleaned. It is all very unsanitary. Second of all, I had seen a sign out front for $2.25 veggie egg rolls. I thought it meant $2.25 for one order of egg rolls. So I ordered what the sign said. However, when I received my order, it was one tiny egg roll smaller than my finger (see photo). It was a big rip off! The egg roll was good, but not worth $2.25. It tasted and looked like the ones you get at Costco in the bulk section. Not very happy. On top of it all, it took 15 minutes for me to get my one small $2 egg roll. I will not be back until they make some major changes. read more

We ordered take-out from here for the first time today. I would eat here again--but I would definitely go for "mild" on their spicy scale. I ordered medium spicy Pad Thai and it was inedible after a few bites. I had to toss it out, unfortunately--the heat kept building with each bite until it was unbearable and the food's flavor completely lost. I'm no hot-pepper-contest guy but in most groups of people I eat with, I tend to be more tolerant of spicy food than most. Quality and service were fine for what it is, but just be aware of that. read more

I ordered the Pho seafood soup: The salmon wasn't pink, it looked very grey so, I put the salmon into a paper towel I had and threw it away! Shocking? Oh, yes, it was shocking seeing grey salmon in my Pho seafood soup! Furthermore, I pretty much had to "doctor" my Pho seafood soup because it was very bland; I went to the front counter grabbing the soy sauce and began dousing my Pho soup trying to improve the blandness. Sadly, adding soy sauce to my Pho seafood soup didn't help at all so, I asked the waiter for a "to go" container. Happily at my campsite, I finally got the Pho seafood soup's taste perfected! I ate all of it, minus the salmon which I promptly threw into the trash can outside the restaurant~HAH! "I just went to My Thai at Capitola beach! I should go back sometime" - nobody $5 dollar boba tea. Five orders of tea. $25 plus tax right? Watched my grandmother give him a $50 and he gave her $12 change. We asked him why we got so little change and he said "tax." My mans tried to charge $13 tax. Crazy. It was a bit of a hassle but we finally got the change that we should have gotten originally. Great customer service. read more

It was a very bizarre experience. This person has no idea about Customer Service and how to deal with a dissatisfied patron.with Eventually, The server finally took the chow mein off the bill, which was all we were expecting from the start. My husband and I are seniors and felt we were treated very rudely. I ended up with repeated gastrointestinal issues in the middle of the night and this morning.

They didn't skimp on shrimp for the Phad Thai, 6 decent sized shrimp in the dish. Service was fine. Cons- food was ok. Curry was one color, sauce and ingredients... normally there's carrots in yellow curry, so it's not one dimension, not here. Yellow curry was, yellow! Taste wise, it was the best dish, but I missed the carrots. The grilled beef salad had extremely overcooked beef in it, that was a bummer. Will try other Thai places in Santa Cruz... don't believe we will come back.

Pad Thai 3/5 lightly seasoned and not as good as other places we have tried Since it was our 1st time visiting and I always think that maybe it was just an "off day" we will probably visit again and try other dishes since the basil chicken was so good.

The pad Thai was very sweet and one note, it needed some heat, or more peanuts, or lime, just something other than sweet. My noodles were also extra al dente, which made it difficult to chew.
