    Fried Rice 炒饭

Noodle Time is a relatively new, clean & comfortable, family-run restaurant which serves a wide variety of Asian fusion cuisine. Ordering is by using the kiosk at the front of the restaurant. There is booth and table seating but it seems many orders are take-out or by a delivery service. Service was friendly and efficient. Our Braised Short Ribs Noodle soup and Shrimp Fried Rice was very enjoyable. Street parking can be difficult but there is a good-sized parking area in the rear of Noodle Time.

Portions here are amazing. As well as crispy fried shrimp tempura ! This place is very authentic in the way they make it! Will be eating here again. Friendly staff.

    Weird tasting Pad Thai.

I think I just ordered the wrong item. This Pad Thai was way to saucy and not very good. I wish it had tofu in it, like it should and a combination meat option. The touch screens to order from are confusing and I couldn't find add on options for meats. I ended up just getting shrimp. I saw people with Pho and other items and they looked solid and they all seemed to be enjoying the dishes. I just was not in the mood for Pho on an 80 degree day. I'll try it again sometime with a different dish, but this visit and dish I ordered was a miss.

I write reviews from a plant based consumer perspective, and for that reason a lot of vegans and vegetarians follow me I'm consistent that way. True to this I can tell you what is happening here for you tofu slang'n herbivores: The wheat noodles are homemade, which is impressive, but they do have trace amount of egg that is used to hold things together. Some people might be willing to look the other way on that one as it is negligible and it's certainly not even visible. Just sad though because otherwise this place would be a regular stop for vegan types i think. They do have a vegan appetizer which is a spicy tofu that is easily a meal in end of itself so check that out if you like. Vegetarians should be just fine My only complaint: i wish they had a specialized vegan menu with faux meat proteins (vegetarian mock meat) like so many Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants have these days. The ambience is nice and the seating is quite comfortable out in the booths over by the window One of the staff there came out and checked on me and sincerely asked how everything was which I really appreciated. I told her it was all fine but in reality, I took it home and had to do my own little touchup to bring it up to hedonistic flavor requirements. They are kind of futuristic up here with these oversize iPad ordering devices set up. They encourage people to order ahead on their website, although I haven't tried that. Sure it works well.

The place is new and I could say very clean. Ordering is through self service kiosk, with the items described well and with photos. The food came out in reasonable time. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and it was really good. The soup is not salty at all and I could tell there is no MSG. The noodles are fresh and delicious, and they give a huge amount of food. I ate half and got full. My wife ordered the chicken pho which she said was also good. The optional veggies are all fresh and not wilted. I asked for water and they served it in pitcher with lemon! The servers are really fast and very kind. I will definitely come back and try the other noodle dishes.

Since opening noodle time has been the go to pho spot for me in Santa Cruz! Soups are delicious with all the various meats they offer, tried the rice plate for the first time and it was greatly flavored, mango sago drink is definitely a recommendation! The order kiosks are good for ordering and they offer self serve sauces and water, will keep returning

Noodle Time totally hits. No cap. Its Literally the highest quality of noodles and pho. Cute decor and location near Highway 1 is prime. I highly recommend.

First time coming here. Visiting Sta. Cruz for our kiddos' spring break and found this place. We walked in and they have this adorable flower that opens and closes, catches your attention as you walk down the hall to the kiosk. Place is clean and orderly. You order at a kiosk and you sit yourself. They have water in pitchers, self-serve, as well as different condiments available. We ordered pork pot stickers, chicken skewers, special beef combination pho, chicken pad thai, braised beef noodle soup, and basil eggplant tofu for our appetizers and dishes. We also ordered Thai milk tea, fresh taro milk tea, and camelia oolong hot tea. Servings are large and we had a good amount of leftovers. Everybody enjoyed their meal. One of our kids has the special beef combination pho and he said the broth was really good. Our other kid enjoyed her chicken pad Thai, too. Serving was so large that her leftover would be enough for another meal. hubby had the braised beef noodle soup and he said the noodles are really fresh. I tried some of the broth, too, and it was very flavorful. The basil eggplant tofu was also flavorful but was on the oily side. It was served with salad, spring rolls and rice. The camelia oolong hot tea was a good compliment to my dish, which by the way was more than enough to share with my husband. Overall, great price for the size of serving and quality of food. Didn't get a photo of all the food. Here are the ones I was able to catch before they were devoured.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Their ordering system is very easy, you order from kiosks located when you first walk in. There is plenty of space to sit down and eat. Their boba was delicious, not too hard. We got the chicken pho and teriyaki chicken plate. The pho had so much flavor and the noodles were perfect. Wish it came a little warmer, like temperature wise but everything was perfect.

I was a little apprehensive at first…read moreone because of mixed Yelp reviews, two because the exterior signs suggested it's both a pho house and Mexican spot, and also because the inside was empty on this Friday night around 6:30. We decided to give it a try and are now so happy we did. I got the veggie pho and my husband got the rare steak, meat ball, tendon pho. The veggie pho included tofu, mushrooms, bok choy and green onion, as well as a healthy portion of noodles. The full-bodied broth was absolutely delicious (I did add the accompanying spice from time to time). My husband was super happy with the bowl he had too. I haven't seen him get so excited since he last had pho in Seattle. The service was also wonderful. The younger cashier that took our order, brought us water and served our bowls of pho was super friendly and attentive. Additionally, my husband initially planned to order the vegetarian pho with meatballs added. The cook (possibly owner) came out to ensure that's what he wanted. He instead recommended the dish my husband ended up ordering and commented that it would cost us a little less money as well. I felt that said a lot about the establishment and its workers. The restaurant was clean and really large. I noticed some coming in for pick up orders but my husband and I were the only ones dining in at the time. I was sad thinking about all the restaurants that came before it in that exact space that eventually closed. Given the great service and delicious pho (best I've had in Santa Cruz), I highly recommend trying it out. This spot deserves our business!

The fillings were fresh and well-balanced, with pickled veggies adding a nice tang and herbs keeping everything bright. It's not about a loud crunch here--it's more of a smooth, easy-eating kind of sandwich that still delivers on flavor. Service was friendly and the space was clean, making it a great spot for larger groups. I'm already looking forward to coming back to try the pho next.
