Solid thai food, weekday lunch specials are great value. There were 2 tables next to the windows with a good view of the famous colorful Venetian houses.

Amazing food here at My Thai Beach! Excellent food and excellent service. I'm on a mission to try everything on their very extensive menu. Everything so far has been stellar. I've had the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Panang curry, Calamari, Crab Rangoon, Milk Tea and more! If you get a chance to try the food, do so! It came out hot, fresh, and just as spicy as I wanted it!

New owner, beautiful food, amazing service, lovely atmosphere and interior and gorgeous views from our table at the window plus the happy Erica and her team made our Friday evening in Capitola memorable and loads of fun. The food - every single item was prepared from scratch. Erica told us when we popped our heads in at 7:50 pm to kindly be there by 8:10 or so to truly enjoy the sit down meal. The Thai iced coffee served in a big glass was fresh and perfect- not too sweet. The veg pot stickers were delicious. So hot on the inside and with fantastic seasoning on the vegetables inside plus the dipping sauce with the hint of fresh tamarind- wow! The tofu veg yellow curry was smooth. The Pad See Ew had that fantastic and addicting smoky and charred flavor. The coconut rice( does not come w the entree) was delectable and the brown rice just so good. The rice was prepared fresh after our order. A great ensemble. The views from our window table- outstanding! The service - the best. Erica really spoiled us with so much love and care. Loved her interaction and laughs with the happy lady chef who came out around 8:50 pm as we were finishing up. It came to $42 per person plus tip which was a great price for a meal and experience of this standard.

Capitola's beach front community features eateries aplenty. Precious few feature healthy faire. That's why we strolled into MTB. A Thai meal never fails to make you feel great all day long. MTB did not disappoint us! The welcome was warm and the smiles were bright. The authentic food was delicious, featuring fresh veggies and a fantastic brown rice. The tofu was slightly sweetened and melted in our mouths. You can look out at the beachgoers relishing the sandy scenes at the waterline window. How to look great in that beachwear and feel energized from sunrise to sunset? Eat at My Thai Beach in Capitola! =)

Since neighboring restaurant Shadowbrook was completely full ( no shocker here since it was Christmas Day ) we decided to take our chances finding somewhere to dine at Capitola Beach. And again no surprise here-the majority of the restaurants were closed except for My Thai Beach. We arrived early enough to get seated as the place continuously had guests coming in. The food was very yummy. We ordered chicken rolls, calamari, crispy chicken, both regular pad Thai and duck pad Thai, Tom kha soup, sesame balls, and a variety of boba drinks. Nothing disappointed. It was so cute getting festive Christmas fortune cookies too! I would highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

Let's say yes. The boba - let's say yes to the entire menu - this is a cute place right in the heart of down town Capitola. The staff is very very nice and very helpful. She explained the menu well . Start at the top And work your way down. Mmmm. You will be happy you did. Go on in. Make yourself at home . They will treat you well. I like the tables and the benches . The wood is really nice and surprisingly comfortable . Let them know Brian sent you with a smile. Just sayin. Give them some sunshine . This place is worth the visit . Mmmm .

Excellent service, terrific food, and an amazing view of the capitola village! Almost right away we were seated at the window (lucky us) and the wait time for the food was not long at all. Even if it was, the atmosphere of the restaurant was great, so who would even care? Not me. I got the crispy chicken pad Thai THAI HOT. To be fair, the waitress did ask me if I knew what I was ordering. Looks can deceive, I love that heat. It delivered well. I would make the 1.5hr drive and do it all over again in a heartbeat. Look past margaritaville and go here!!!

Amazing food. Amazing service. Amazing view. What else can I say?? We came here on Valentine's Day with no reservation. Walked in and got seated immediately with the best view of the whole restaurant. Food came fast, fresh, and delicious.

I am seriously impressed by the cuisine at My Thai Beach on the Capitola Beach. We ate there two nights in a row, and I'm delighted to say the food was consistently good both nights. The food was bright, prepared with care, fresh, flavorful and well-balanced. This was no gloppy, sloppy imitation of Thai flavors. It is mindfully prepared, honoring the fresh ingredients. There are several duck dishes on the menu and I went full duck each night. The duck larb was slices of roasted duck dressed with a delicious, balanced dressing of lime juice, fish sauce, roasted rice powder and aromatics, and served with vibrant fresh slices of red onion and sweet seasonal tomatoes. The duck noodle soup was equally carefully constructed. A delicious clear broth, slices of that succulent duck, brilliant green baby spinach leaves, green onion, and fine wheat noodles. This is new ownership only a few months old, so ignore earlier reviews of a different team. The place itself is kind of funky and it's right on the beach. There are 2 tables that look out on the charming Capitola beach. The staff are friendly and helpful. I'll be back to try more of the menu.

Under new management - they are wonderful!!!! We had the pad see ew with chicken and crunchy chicken pad thai and they were so good!! We can't wait to go back. The couple who took over the business is also SO nice and they are clearly very good at what they do. Super friendly, too. We are so happy to have them in the neighborhood and we highly recommend this spot!!

Service was very attentive and great. Amazing views. Food was very filling, meat heavy, and very flavorful. I absolutely loved their pad Thai and chicken skewers with dipping sauce. My table of four agreed that our food was very good, as well as our drinks, and the price was very fair as well. Amazing place and will definitely return!

We got a churro crepe, caprese crepe, Nutella strawberry and banana crepe, and smores crepe. The crepes themselves are a little thicker than what I would prefer, but they do a good job loading up the toppings. The flavors were awesome. I think the churro crepe would be better in house and didn't travel very well. There is a little seating area inside and also patio seating outside for the shopping complex as well. I liked their vibe a lot and would go back again. I didn't order it but I did see on the online menu that they do sell Diet Coke.

There were 2 people working there and behind the counter. No one greeted us. We looked at the menu and though we could have ordered at the counter, the staff didn't seem friendly like they wanted to be approached so we chose to order at the computerized kiosk! Other Yelpers said prices were average, but I thought the drinks were expensive! They start around $7 but that most do not include toppings, and each topping was $0.75. That adds up! (My go-to boba place in Santa Cruz has boba for $5.50, which includes 2 toppings, so....this seems like highway robbery.) Due to the high prices, out of three of us, we only ordered two drinks and only one of the drinks had an added topping. When they were done making the drinks, one drink had the plastic top sealed on and the other was placed on the counter. The staffer walked away. I was unsure if I should just take the drinks. They were clearly our drinks (I could see they were ours, plus we were the only customers), but it was odd the man put the drink there and walked away without saying anything! No communication, no eye contact. Nothing. After several minutes, he returned to complete the plastic cup cover sealing, and then he placed the cup in front of me. No "thank you", no "here you go", no "enjoy", nothing. It was odd. Other than the prices, the flavor of the boba was okay in flavor and chewiness, but the strawberry matcha drink had effects that, let's just say, caused someone hours of bathroom trips! We don't know if it was the milk or some other ingredient, but something was not right. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Soul Sweet. The store looked so cute in the photos, I think it had potential, but the freshness is important and price is an important factor.
