If you have ever contemplated getting a personal trainer or joining small group training classes…read morebut were intimidated by the gym atmosphere of big burly men grunting, slamming weights down, and testosterone flowing out the door, you have to give Elite Custom Fitness serious consideration. I never thought I would join a "hardcore" gym, I thought working out at home was fine for my needs, but in November 2019 a lingering eating disorder reared its head and I found my health declining rapidly (It turns out that a food pyramid consisting of Cake, Cookies, and Kit-Kats is not healthy). It was time for a more structured approach to improving my physical fitness and overall health. I had driven past ECF for years and finally decided to do some online research then set up an initial consultation with Tim. He was amazing from the beginning; he was empathetic to my situation and able to propose a complementary plan that worked with my GP and Therapist. I admit, it was intimidating starting out but Tim quickly puts you at ease, starts out slow, focuses on technique and educates you to complete each move with the correct form and putting a focus on safety. My intimidation was quickly diminished. Everyone that trains or works out there is incredible, it was totally not the "meat head" atmosphere I was dreading, it is just a great group of people that discovered what a gem ECF, way up there on the hill, is. It has been nearly a year since starting with Tim and team. I have lost 25 pounds, replaced fat with muscle, and I am probably stronger than I have ever been. I don't regret a single day of the past year, except maybe when I added a third day a week to my training schedule that is dedicated to arms and I could not lift my arms that first week for two days afterwards, but that was a fleeting shock to my arms and now I love "Mega Arm Mondays". The hardest thing I had to do was walk through the door that first day. I am sure you can take that step as well; you won't regret it.

Dr. Barroner is Fan-effin-tastic. She provides services that you hope never to need, but if you…read moreneed them, she is clearly the one to visit. What brought us to Dr. Barroner was my 16-year-old- son's four impacted wisdom teeth. He had two 12-year molars that had not yet erupted due to these gargantuan-ass teeth sitting in their way. His Orthodontist, Dr. Troy, had recommended two surgeons, but I got the better vibe from Dr. Barroner's office. That may be due to the office Wonder Woman known as Rose. In fact, everyone in that office is friendly and professional. Because my son is diabetic, we had some extra prep to do. and we were well informed in advance of what needed to be done before, during, and after the visit. The surgery went smoothly - skilled, quality work done right. They even let us come back in to allay concerns about what we thought was extra bleeding (which was normal bleeding, I guess we were just nervous nellies!) She then followed up the next day to find out how he was and let us know we could call her anytime if we have any problems or questions. I'm so glad we chose to use Dr. Barroner for the wisdom tooth extraction. If you need an oral surgeon, and you go anywhere else, you're a total bonehead. I usually attach photos, but I don't know what I would put here. You probably don't want to look at his teeth, which we did get to take home. Thank you, Dr. Barroner and the rest of the staff at Elevated Oral & Implant Surgery!
