VERY FRUSTRATING. They prefer that you text them and then they just told me, numerous times to 'find another vet or urgent care for your pet. ' They will take the annual visit appointments, but when I have really needed them over the past year they tell me to go somewhere else? Perhaps they should stop overbooking new clients so they can service their loyal clients.

My dog was dealing with a hot spot in mid-September, and he was prescribed a 120mL bottle antibiotic/steroid spray for $32 that I bought in their clinic. I reached out to them yesterday to request a written prescription because it's $7 in Walmart Pet Rx for that same size bottle, and my dog is dealing with a second hot spot now and I'm running out of the first bottle. Walmart requires the prescription to be 1) mailed in by me, 2) faxed by the vet office, or 3) if they can talk to the vet office directly to confirm the prescription over the phone. I decided to drive to the Vet today to buy the medication at their shop since my dog needed it sooner and none of the other pharmacies carry it in stock. I spoke to one of the receptionists at the front desk, showed her the prescription they had written for me the day prior and asked her if I could buy a bottle of medicine from them and if they could do me the favor of faxing the written prescription to Walmart or allow Walmart to call them just to confirm the prescription over the phone so I can receive the refills in the future. This woman was extremely short and rude with me, saying that I was "asking for too much." This was literally the first thing she said to me after I had politely come into the office and explained the situation and asked for help, for my dog, who has been under their care for a year. She followed rudely saying that they will not do either of these things for me, and that it's up to me to mail the prescription to any other online pharmacies, or buy the medicine from them, and that they will not talk to anyone on the phone to confirm prescriptions. Given my poor interaction and because I wasn't sure if this is "my vet clinic's practice vs. all vets in general", I did ask my friends in the Cincinnati area that have dogs and they all mention different veterinarian offices that even upload the prescriptions onto websites like Chewy, or call in medications to the pharmacy for them when it is more affordable elsewhere. You would think that after I've spent over $600 over the past year on my dog at this clinic, that they would be kind enough to help me either fax the prescription, or let the pharmacy give them a call that would take less than 2 minutes (like any other medical facility does for their patients human or animals), to make it easier for my dog to receive his medication at a more affordable price in a more timely manner, which by the way, I did ended up buying today from them because I had no other choice. Or at the very LEAST, train your staff in the front desk to be kind and courteous in the way they communicate with your customers if you are going to treat my dog like a business. We've been going here the past year, but will be finding a new veterinarian in the area because the trust is simply broken. If you can't be understanding that medicines are more affordable online for your pet patients and you want to overcharge for what you sell, and in addition you can't do business because you hire rude receptionists who are unprofessional in their communications, then you don't deserve my business. Maybe, you would rather just have customers that are rich and less money conscious who will just pay whatever you ask from them, or pay whatever you ask from your own personal online pharmacy. It is the lack of kindness and understanding that really is extremely disappointing. It is very unfortunate, because otherwise I've enjoyed the interactions with the doctors there, the techs, and the people who answer their emergency line who have been responsive and attentive to my dog whenever he needed something.

Most places only charge between 100.00 to 700.00 for dog to be spaded. They charged 2000.00 and said the dog would not have lived if I didn't get it done now. I FELT I WAS EMOTIONALLY TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. THE DOG WAS SICK BUT IT IS CALLED PRICE JABBING. BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO GET TAKEN LIKE I WAS.

Two of these visits were made, on the same day I called, for emergency visits. I so very much appreciate the flexible and late hours offered by the County Animal Hospital. For the first time in his life, Charlie was experiencing frightening urinary symptoms that completely caught me off guard. This made me a scared and panicky mess when I first arrived for my visit with Dr. Kaptan. His calm and decisive demeanor while examining Charlie instantly reassured me. At once, I knew I was in the right place. The doctor quickly ran blood work, took an x-ray, and performed a tricky ultrasound to recover a urine sample. I was very impressed that, in just a few short minutes, the results were available for all of these tests. Dr. Kaptan carefully explained Charlie's treatment plan, answered all of my questions, and explained every line of the bill. I was sent home not only with peace of mind, but also with everything I needed to care for Charlie, including special food and his pain medication. A week later, I once again had to bring Charlie for urinary symptoms and I also had to bring my other cat, Rosie, for respiratory distress. Dr. Kaptan took great care in determining the best course of action. He then promptly administered vital medications that I believe helped save both of my cat's lives, especially Rosie. I can never adequately express how thankful I am for his care. Rosie and Charlie are a big part of my family and I love them both dearly. Through my experiences, I observed just how compassionate Dr. Kaptan is with his patients, and I truly believe he cares about their outcomes. Along with his attentive and caring staff, I would highly recommend any concerned animal owner to the care of County Animal Hospital. I also sincerely appreciate that they have very reasonable prices and make an effort to limit unnecessary expenditures. Thank you for doing all you can to reduce the stress involved in my visit, especially your efforts to have short wait times before appointments. Finally, I just want to again express my gratitude to all of you for all of your time and effort in the care of my beloved cats.

I ended up at Care Center after I thought my 4-pound Yorkie had gotten into the trash and was worried about a blockage in his intestines. After several hours of waiting for an ultrasound at MetVet, I was sent home and told to "monitor" his behavior. Long story short, he continued his symptoms and I took him to Care Center (after a less than satisfactory experience at MedVet), where Dr. Raghu not only comforted me, but discovered his symptoms were actually from a pre-existing condition. Since being treated, he's gained almost a whole pound to finally reach a healthy weight, and I couldn't be more grateful for the internal medicine staff (they even provided an email address which I used frequently during the early days of his treatment). I cannot say enough good things about Care Center... And I know my little pup feels the same!

This was at 5 pm. They did xrays which the vet said showed fluid around the lungs. The consultation was not good, leaving us with little to no options. Looking back I feel we made the wrong decision. We left around midnight without our boy. He was not ready to leave this world and had a lot more to offer. He was only 3 year old. Please do not let someone talk you into something you feel in your heart is wrong. I miss my little boy everyday.
