Got a pedicure and the person just rubbed lotion on my legs. It wasn't even considered a massage. They legit just RUBBED lotion on me. Like I could have done it at home for free. It was a waste of money. They were nice but quality is lacking. I should have listened to the bad reviews. They were correct. If you look at all of the positive reviews, they're fake. Most likely made by the owner or employees that work there to boost their business. 95% of the positive reviews are all fake. Google reviews and Facebook reviews are all fake. That should have been my 1st red flag. I just took off the polish and redid everything. I have buyers remorse because I could have went somewhere else. I'm most pissed about the massage because I was so looking forward to it. So much money wasted! Just go somewhere else. Im warning you now. They updated the salon to have a bar and it's way bigger. You have to spend a minimum of $35 dollars to get a free drink (alcohol). They are open Sundays 12-6pm . I did a basic liquid gel fill which was quick and looks great! Everyone was super nice. Getting me seated and my service started was quick. I haven't tried they're pedi yet but there were quite a few people getting them done and everyone walked out happy with what they got. Definitely will be coming back. Also the prices aren't bad at all ! For all you army girls out there I definitely recommend this place they know what colors you can have and the length . If you find anything wrong with their work they fix it immediately with no attitude and no second thought. read more

From the previous reviews I gave this place a try. I had a good experience the first time I went but one of the guys that worked there ripped my acrylic nails off with a card after my pedicure and ruined my nails. He never asked me before I started what I had on before and got mad that I didn't tell him I didn't want the acrylics anymore. I've been trying to grow them back for months now to a healthy state. BEST PLACE IN THE FAYETTEVILLE AREA. I live on base and I have no idea why I ever went to the gross nail salons on yadkin rd. This place is so incredibly clean and it looks so gorgeous inside. They also offer a glass of wine (its small and in a plastic glass) with a purchase of over 35 dollars. Would not go anywhere else. Seriously take my word for it. Went for a full set and I really should have just left. The man who did my nails was so aggressive and rude. He wouldn't let me get what I wanted so I settled for an ombré that he kept "suggesting" I get. He went to trim my nails down but was doing it so fast and sloppily and he actually clipped so far back he trimmed off the tip of my nail bed. ACTUAL SKIN AND FINGER MEAT. I really should have left but I was with a friend and she drove so :( I also didn't know how to react. He goes to remove the remaining acrylic from an old set on my hands and he was prying it off so quickly he was done in 10 seconds. That speed of his ruined my natural nails. He thinned out my nails so much and they were pretty much shredded down to the nail bed. When he went to prep my natural nails for the acrylic the speed was so high on the drill bit that it burned like hell on my already thinned out nails he was still shaving down. After he applied the acrylic he was still shaping it with the wrong bit so he had to increase the speed which, guess what, burned the f out of my fingers. When he was finishing up and filing the nails he was filing so aggressively that he cut deep into my pinky and tried to play it off like he didn't know that it had happened. I'm used to a few grazes when then go around your cuticles but this man actually cut me. Like DEEP cuts and missing parts of my nail bed because of this. I really should have left but I was just shocked and really didn't know how to react. And after all of that I still had to pay the high price that they set. BEWARE... yes the place is nice inside BUT not as clean as it appears. Had a pedicure not sure the tools were sterilized. Gal that did my pedicure (which lasted 27 min) didn't rinse off the callus remover before doing the lotion rub, needless to say my legs were on fire!!! Great experience! This is the first nail place I've been that felt so clean and sanitary! The shop is beautifully designed, I love the backsplashes and color scheme. My eyebrows were waxed and the lady was super friendly and nice. My 5 year old niece and I got pedicures as well. They have chairs for children, how cute! They did an okay job...I'm not comfortable with them not having sealed sterile packs of utensils opened in front me before getting started. You know what they did...sprayed the tips of each tool with alcohol prior to using it. There is one particular man who works there that would do my nails every time. Even if someone else was available, he'd make me wait so he could do my nails.. He always asked inappropriate questions about my husband & I. & would mock me when I talked. I tolerated it a few times but finally I couldn't tolerate it anymore & went somewhere else. This place is so dirty but charges clean prices, lol. $40 for a "basic" pedicure. Meanwhile, try not to catch a staph infection. Please clean your chairs, floors etc with the profit you are making. Also, if you want to charge $40 for a basic, at least have the technician give a good service and not rush through doing the bare minimum. The "basic" included a hot stone massage which the technician literally rubbed 2 stones in the front and side of my legs for about 30 seconds each leg. Disappointing and not what I expect for the price and description on their service menu. Edited to add: I asked for a manicure with no polish. I did not have gel on my nails to remove nor fake nails to remove. All it involved was a cuticle trim and filing my nails. The tech charged me $20!!!! $20 fucking dollars for a cuticle trip and file. If integrity is important to you--take your business elsewhere. I called before I went to the shop to see how much a full set of acrylic with a painted french tip would cost. I was told that it would be $35.00. Okay, no problem. I went in and told the young lady four times what I wanted because she kept trying to get me to change my mind, but I knew my budget. Finally, she decides that she will do the white tip; I am assuming it is because she doesn't want to paint the tip cause surely she is not about to decide how much I will spend of my own money. How wrong was I? She finished my nails, and my thumbs are two different-sized nail tips, so one is wider than the other. Then I was going to get my eyebrows arched, so I confirmed the price and wanted to know my total with my eyebrows. She tells me my nails are $50.00, and my eyebrows would be an additional $15.00 (FOR WAX). Of course, now, I am dumbfounded because I walked into the shop and told three different people what I wanted, all of which spoke perfect English until we began discussing cost at the end. So, the young lady decided that she would upcharge me $15.00 for the white tip that she chose to do WITHOUT me requesting it and thought it was okay because she was giving me a $10.00 discount, and I would pay the additional $15.00. I will NEVER return to this shop again. I hate I was in such a hurry to go that I did not take the time to read the reviews. Take your money elsewhere to people who deserve to have it!!! read more

Went there earlier today it took a hour and a half for a fill in and ombré color...She clearly didn't know how to do ombré but she continued to try as all her co workers stood around her work station to watch her make a mess. If I was told it wouldn't blend I would have choose something different. It. looked terrible, nothing like the display nail. I told her I didn't like it she agreed it looked bad because of the color I choose but insisted I still had to pay $15 for my fill in, which I didn't mind, and $15 for the ombré which I refused because It looked terrible. Then when she realized I wasn't going to let her get over on me with the $30 she said ok $20 because your nails were long, which she didn't include in the initial price. I just wanted her to take it off and I would gladly pay for my fill in. I would recommend Unique Nails in Fayetteville. read more

My toes look great but my nails are not what I wanted. There are holes like bubbles in one of my thumbs, I asked for ombré and it's done badly, the man cut my finger trying to rush and file and on top of that I had an appointment at 6 and they took 30mins to start me...whats the point of an appointment. This place looks amazing on the inside, but don't let the aesthetics get your hopes up too high. Their staff is extremely rude and LAZY. They only have two employees willing to do their jobs. I couldn't even get a french manicure without them arguing in the background about who was going to complete my service. Once I thought I finally had someone to work on my nails, he walked away. I assumed he was getting the supplies for my service..turns out he was taking a lunch break after seating me and asking what my service of choice was. After waiting for over 30 minutes, I decided that the service wasn't worth it. I got out of the chair and sat back next to my friend. Next, ten minutes later, he finally came back and asked me to sit in the chair. I told him that I no longer wanted the service and he proceeded to joke around and told me that it was "Okay." The manager didn't even bother to turn his head from his snake game that he was playing at the front desk. Despite all of this, waiting close to 40 minutes for a bottled water wasn't that bad. read more

Where to begin, absolutely loved this place when first moving here they did my nails well acted professional and corrected any issues of there were any. it went down hill, the place changed its imagine and is aesthetically nice but the manners are non existant and they steal from you.YES STEAL as in put their own tip into the price how do I know this because i checked my account at one point whilst in the salon and realized an extra ten dollars was missing. (tipped them ten in cash) and when I spoke to the manager she started yelling saying it was my bank charging me to use the card. I have never EVER been charged to use my debit card, I went home and called my bank, nope they dont charge me under any circumstances. I then look at my purchase history with them, all an added ten or so dollars. Now let's put that aside, I've had three instances where one nail tech a very snarky and sarcastic man would insult and mock me. I'd say oh sorry that's not the color it's more peach or pink etc. and he looked upset and said have to have it your way, pissing me off. Like really? I pay for this why wouldn't i pick out the color that was correct(brought picture as reference) also I've had plenty of my nails chip and get destroyed and they're reluctant to fix them. To top it off they joke about people of color a lot and I heard them making fun of two women and them saying, big black ladies always the problem. No I'm not doing her feet you know why then walks over to a white woman instead. The manager is defensive and will embarrass you if you've been wronged. I just left My Nails salon about 15 minutes ago. After being a customer there since 2016, I will take my nail and pedicure business some place else now. I am so damn disappointed. I sat there in the pedi chair for 40 minutes. I went through 2-20 minutes cycles in that blasted massage chair waiting for someone to come start my pedi. They sat me there, filled up the basin with hot water and walked away. For 40 minutes, not a single employee came to check on me. Not one person said "I'm sorry, we're running behind today" or "We'll be with you as soon as we can. I'm sorry for the wait" or just "I'm sorry". After 40 minutes, the guy who was working on my 17 year old daughter's nails came over and shoved the pedicure menu in my face and told me to "Choose one". That was the last straw for me. I pushed it right back and told him I knew which pedicure I wanted 40 minutes ago, but now I'm done waiting. I told him how unprofessional this all was and that I was going to just wait for my daughter to finish and leave. He said "No no, I do you right now!" How was he going to "do me now" when he was STILL working on my daughter?!? Seriously?? Do they think we're stupid? By this time I had pulled my feet out of the basin because the water had turned COLD. That's how long I had waited in that chair. The very hot water that they filled the basin with had turned ice cold. Yeah, that's great customer service.......NOT! I told my daughter she could find me in their tiny little waiting area when she was done. I wasn't leaving my underaged daughter there alone. Needless to say, after more than 5 years, we will NOT be returning to My Nails salon. They never once apologized for anything. Not any of it. read more
