Worst manicure I have ever received. I only tried this salon because my regular place wasn't available. First, the salon was visibly dirty. Second, they appeared to use the same nail file and tools on multiple clients, which was very concerning from a hygiene standpoint. Third, I booked a service that includes the word "manicure," yet there was almost no prep work done on my natural nails. Aside from a quick file and extremely minimal cuticle care, there was no real cleaning or shaping before product was applied. Proper nail prep is a fundamental part of any manicure, and because it wasn't done correctly, the final result was chunky and uneven. I ended up spending 30 minutes at home trying to fix them, and they still don't look good. To make matters worse, my nail tech spoke negatively about another customer to me, while that customer was still in the salon. It was incredibly uncomfortable, and I sincerely hope the other client couldn't hear the comments. read more

My first time coming to this salon. I wanted a pedicure service and thats exactly what was received. I'm 26 weeks pregnant and it's harder to reach my feet for grooming. They gave me an amazing feet/leg massage which helped so much! I scheduled to visit back in two weeks! The salon itself (didn't use restroom) was clean & nice. The employees were also great! They had great color choices as well. My pedicure (tip not included) was $55. I was nervous with not seeing many reviews but extremely happy with my choice. read more

This place is a Nightmare. Went in for a Pedicure at 11am, first time. My Appoint was for 11am, never took me till 11:20. Alot of girls and guys doing nothing ,but here I set. Very crude people and how they handle your Body parts they don't make you feel very welcome. Worst place I was ever in stay away from this joint your better off. They do a terrible job and the biggest percent of employees from what I seen do Nothing but play on there Phone it's a joke. Bad place stay away. read more

The lady that did my daughter's pedicure didn't even give her a foot massage and her gel nails looked like a 5 year old did them. It took the lady forever to do them and they still look terrible. Mine look ok. Still not going back anytime soon. read more

My friend and I went to My Nails & Spa for the first time today, we had two different technicians. My friend had a wonderful experience and her technician took the time and care to give her a great manicure & pedicure. My technician on the other hand just rushed through the service, wasn't attentive and just kept pressuring me & tried upselling since she could tell I don't get my nails done often. She only did one coat of nail polish on my toes as well and even missed some spots. I feel if I would have gotten any other technician I would have had a better experience. read more

Its been a while since I have tried this salon so I thought why not? Memories started flooding back as soon as I entered. I was seated at a pedi chair immediately and only waited 15 minutes after picking the color. I was told since i had gel on that it would be $5 more to remove? What if I had said no, just go ahead? Fastest pedi ever, crappy paint job. I guarantee I will be chipped in a day. Dont waste your time or money. Plenty of other worthy nail salons in the area! read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I have NEVER experienced this before. I am new to the area and maybe coming from NY I just have hire standards. Brought my daughter, the woman rushed through her nails, not even putting some lotion on her hands. It was like she couldn't be bothered. Then I asked for a gel manicure. One of the men put the cotton on my fingers to soak the gel off. Walked away bc someone with an appointment was there. I get it, if someone has an appointment they take priority... but then don't start doing someone else! I would have preferred if I was told that I needed to come back. But NO! I sat like an idiot with my gels soaking for FIFTEEN MINUTES!!!!! No one came over to finish, and looking around no one would have been close to finishing what they were doing to come finish me. Totally unacceptable!!! I walked out. No one even tried to apologize or try to make it right. Obviously they don't care about getting new clients! Not to mention the place has absolutely no ventilation, so I was breathing in chemicals the entire time I was in there getting a headache. read more

I decided to come here last Friday to get a mani/pedi. I walked in and was seated promptly. The lady I had was a little rough with my feet but it was the best pedicure I've had in a long while. My manicure was great too. She nicked my cuticle but apologized numerous times. Hey, it happens. They had a great color selection and I just went with the plain polish, in a pretty yellow color. It's been almost a week and I just got my first chip. I've gone elsewhere and within a day it starts to chip. I'd be back and had an overall good experience. I have given this salon multiple chances. Everytime they disappoint me. Everytime I get my nails done, the shape is chunky and doesn't look right and they always mess up the color. The one time I asked for bright yellow acrylics. The shape was awful and the color ended up being a mustard yellow. I went back in two weeks later to get them done again and the lady looked at them, made a face and asked where I got them done. I told her I got them done by them and by her and she didn't believe me. I know they can do a good job because when they do my mothers nails they always look good, but when they do my friends and I's nails it looks awful. I don't know if they don't try on some customers, but that is not okay, I should not be paying 30-40 dollars for a set that looks awful. read more

My experience with this salon has been a mixed bag. One older female nail technician is always free when you walk in. She's available immediately because getting a mani or a pedi from her is undesirable. She gave me a sub-par manicure earlier this spring (cut my cuticle and it bled, then applied a gel manicure so thickly/hurriedly that it started peeling within 24 hours). My grandmother received a pedicure from that same technician and wont go back because the lady was so rough that it hurt my grandma. Lee and Nicole both do great work but the salon doesn't respect appointment times very well and they don't accommodate drop-ins. My mother, sister, and I had made an advance appointment to get manicures together for my Mom's birthday. Two of us were taken back immediately while the other had to sit by herself in the waiting area for 30 minutes until a third technician was free, despite our reservation. This morning I walked in to the salon and specifically requested either Nicole or Lee. They were both busy (understandably!) but refused to say when they would be free later. They only offered a manicure with the older female technician with whom we've had bad experiences. As usual, she was free while all the other staff had customers. The lady who did my nails was excellent but how they treat their employees is horrible. This business needs to be shut down. The 2 owners reprimanded their employee in front of others and brought her to tears....and it was not the employees fault at all. I can personally attest to this. Just moved to Palmyra and have been looking for a nail salon. Have walked into MANY in the area between Hershey and Palmyra and all have that terrible chemical smell and have not been the cleanest. When I came to My Nails & Spa I was so pleasantly surprised. Not only was the place absolutely spotless and had no chemical smell, but the people working were so friendly and professional. I got a great pedicure (basic pedicure and they spent 45 minutes on my feet) and the gel manicure (largest color selection I have ever seen). I will definitely be headed back monthly to pamper myself. read more

My first two encounters were great at this salon. I had a pedicure by the wife of the owner and the owner did my nails on two occasions. The acrylic held beautifully. My third appointment July 3rd 130 I was a walk in and it will keep me from ever going to this establishment ever again. I felt like I was an inconvenience to the unknown lady doing my nails after she learned I was paying via credit card and had to go next door purchase something to get cash to tip her. Prior to her attitude I was so apologetic about not knowing I could not put the tip on my card, I was willing to double my tip. But she rushed thru the process I noticed skipping some steps. I've had acrylic nails off and on for 5 years. Two days later I was on vacation I noticed my index finger had fungus under it. The acrylic is good I have been soaking it in acetone for two days to get the nail off. Anyway, I look at my other hand and two more nails have fungus. I am hard on my nails up until this round of acrylics I have been faithful to Tom and Tina at Nail Creations. And I regret not going there this time. I will not make this mistake again. I understand that this is the consequences but I have NEVER had a fungus let alone three nails after one visit. Never again. read more
