These guys were absolutely professional, fast, and very careful with all our belongings. I received a confirmation text from Jaid the evening before and he also called the morning of the move. We scheduled a Saturday move just 3 days prior and it was no problem. Jaid suggested the SWAT team which can be 4 - 5 guys and I definitely agree that you need a minimum of 4 guys to get everything appropriately wrapped and in the truck packed up tight in a quick way. The quote was accurate and on-point which is great since you hear horror stories about add-on charges for stairs, etc. We were in a 3 floor town home with a very narrow staircase and large bedroom furniture - they were careful and yet so efficient. They don't make you feel like you are in their way and answer any and all questions you have, very friendly. I was signing the completion paperwork after unloading and verifying the truck was empty at 3 hours exactly. I agree with a previous poster, more guys make it go so much quicker which end the end saves you time and money (and headaches). I don't want to move again anytime soon but that has nothing to do with Jaid and his team - they are the 'go-to' guys to get this done with minimal stress, I recommend My Mover completely. I've never seen a harder working group of men. As a recent college grad, I've moved every year over the last 7 years and have had experience working with a variety of moving companies. My most recent move was a breeze compared to every other move I've made (this is an understatement, the move was completely seamless). I was completely blown away by MyMovers and the professionalism, preparedness, and quality that they exhibited. There was one point person who I communicated directly with and he managed his team flawlessly. They came prepared with every kind of moving equipment that you can think of (several ramps, rolling bins, packing materials, etc) which maximized their effectiveness. To top it off, the guys on the moving team worked tirelessly. The rate is EXTREMELY reasonable. Considering that you pay by the hour and how fast they work, it is a steal (so tip them well)!! Also, I referred them to a friend and she raved about them as well. She was moving her things from Houston to Bay City - which is roughly 170 miles. They did an amazing job; and the rate to transport her things was more than fair. Can't say enough great things about these guys! Jose, Baruch, and Jason recently handled a move for me and I was impressed and amazed. I booked a Saturday move late Thursday evening and they informed my that we would be the second move of the day on Saturday and they would call us around 10:30am to let us know when they would be able to start the move. As promised they called at 10:30 sharp and informed us they were ready and would be available to start the move at 11:30. They showed up on time and wasted no time getting started. They were super efficient and did not waste any time and literally ran back and forth to the truck while moving the furniture and boxes. They took great care with everything and nothing was damaged at all during the move. I personally own a business myself and was impressed by the professionalism and efficiency of their work. Overall, My Mover was a great experience for the value. They were definitely the least expensive quote I received and the service was top notch. Here are the highlights: Pros: - Arrived at their scheduled arrival time - Worked quickly and efficiently - carefully wrapped furniture, etc. - After we gave them a check, Jaid actually came back to tell us that we had miscalculated and OVERPAID him for an extra hour. Cons: - While carrying a painting into the house, the frame scraped the ceiling in our dining room which will require some paint repair. A very minor issue, and hard to avoid with the size of the piece. I understand this stuff can happen. My Mover moved our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment into our new home in 4.5 hours, at $99 an hour. Can't really beat that. None of our fragile things were broken, all of the boxes made it to their appropriate places, and the guys were friendly, hard working, and efficient. read more

This is the second time I have used them and the last. They did a good job moving some of our big and heavy items but I found out the hard way that you have to watch them at all times. They were told to put a mattress in the open area of a room. They put the frame there and were told again "that is perfect put the mattress on top right there." I came back to that room after they left and found that they rearranged the room and took a 300 year old grandfather clock that they were not hired to move and put it across a couch. As you can guess it is now broken in many places. I call them and asked why they touched the clock and to tell them they broke pieces off it. The manager got very angry at me and hung up on me. He did return to my house and continued to yell and curse at me and my wife(I do understand Spanish). He never apologized or offered to try to get the clock repaired. read more

My Movers moved the office of Dr. Sally Thomas on Saturday even with the heavy rain and cold weather. They were very professional, efficient and well mannered. They were very carring with all furniture etc. making sure everything was boxed, wrapped and handled with care, they took the initative to make sure that nothing would be damage. These guys came at a 24 hour notice (oops) to move me from the Heights to a storage unit an hour away. I was impressed with their professionalism being that it was such short notice I gave them. The only downside I had was that they said they'd show up at 6pm but actually showed up at 3:30pm which then got us in Houston traffic. But all is well considering they didn't charge more for being on the road longer. It was a very reasonable price. And the 3 guys packed it all very closely in my storage unit. Maybe I'm easily amused but it was entertaining watching them place everything in a perfectly tight square. My belongings were taken care of and the men were polite. This move is probably the smoothest I've ever had. I highly recommend these guys. read more

Jose and his crew are outstanding! They were a bit late but called and let me know, they were very professional, fast and are very hard workers. I was impressed that they treated me and our stuff with respect and were very courteous. We moved from our current home with 20 years of accumulated stuff to our new home without incident, they were even able to take a side by side refrigerator to the second floor kitchen without scratching the walls... impressive! All furniture was wrapped in blankets and shrink wrapped... nothing had to be removed, they even wrapped my 2 tier tool chest, drill press and table saw. We don't plan on moving again as our new home is our retirement home, but if we had to I definitely would use My Mover again. read more

The move from hell. I have never in my life dealt with a company this dishonest, just a family of thieves. Unprofessional, dishonest, and disrespectful. Overcharged, wasted time. Went through my boxes to steal. Made copies of my storage locker keys, stole my garage door opener. Returned and helped themselves to everything that did not belong to them. Came with the wrong intentions. Movers smelled of liquor the second day. Later realized they stole the liquor from me. Owner set the tone and the rest of his employees followed. They just went on a spree stealing furniture, lamps, dishes, liquor, even paper plates and napkins. Please hire a nationally know company that is insured and has a great reputation. read more

My Movers is the very best moving company. I am a senior citizen and have had a lot of experience with moving companies. They are extremely careful; cover everything and even protect the flooring when they move furniture in and out. I live in Houston and they moved furniture for me to my daughter in Austin. And I must tell you it was a difficult delivery because she lives up a hill. No easy task. I was referred to them by The Charity Guild in Houston who use them a lot. I called My Mover after I saw their truck doing a move in the neighborhood. A few days later, they moved several pieces of furniture from my home to my office. Jaid and My Mover were prompt, courteous and very professional. Jaid responded to my web inquiry immediately and were ready to go when promised. They were very efficient and got the job done. They knew how to take apart difficult pieces like a roll top desk and then knew how to get it all back together again. I have used My Mover and worked with Jaid when my husband and I moved from midtown out to Katy. I was very impressed with their professionalism and how quickly they were able to get us moved. There was an unfortunate accident with my husbands treasured "Big Green Egg" which is a ceramic BBQ pit. It fell in the back of the truck and it cracked, rendering it useless. Unprofessional, Keeps Items without permission, shows up late Scheduled in advance Jaid P arrived 1 hour late with an attitude. He proceeds to have his worker take advantage by moving as slow as possible. When traveling they drove as slow as possible to ride the clock. When moving materials mover put a hole in the couch. Upon finishing i realized a couple of items were missing. Had to contact Jaid several times. I still have not received items back. Be careful using this company. read more

At the start there was a small mix up on the move time and they were an hour late, but definitely made up for everything. I transferred to a bigger apartment. The two guys were very quick and did not break anything and were very nice and funny. A good thing is that this company is definitely less expensive than other companies.
