I used to really love this laundry mat. The customer service is impeccable and they're always cleaning. However, the other day I saw several roaches exiting out from under the dryers I was freaked out. I don't even want to spend any money there. Past and taking them home from the laundromat is something of my nightmares. Please have routine pest control come out. They were coming out during the day so that means there's a serious problem. read more

Just close already. MOST of the washers and dryer are out of service. There's not attendant present to make sure ppl are not leaving their laundry to sit in the few washers and dryers that are working. I came on a Monday afternoon and it was such an awful experience. Ppl lack proper laundromat etiquette and it pissed me off waiting for ppl to return and remove their belongings so that myself and others can use the machines. Do not waste your time here. read more

Never been to a Laundromat before and I really enjoyed going here to do all my laundry. I had 3 people's worth of clothes to wash, two bed sets to wash, towels, and finally a king size blanket. Now the only reason I gave a 4 star instead of a 5 was because I didn't know what I was doing and the washers weren't 100% user friendly for someone being a first timer trying to do laundry. The facility was clean other than some socks and dryer sheets on the floor. The machines are brand new! After figuring out how to use them it was easy to use them moving forward. Plenty of machine available and a handy phone app to keep track. Apply pay available ! Prices are okay.. about $3.25 for a large load of clothes with warm water. They do charge for warmer/hotter water. I really love the size availability, anywhere from a small load to 8 load washer!!! Didn't even know those existed! Will certainly come again for our bed sheets and blankets! read more

Before I stopped at My Laundromat, I had went to a different laundromat and had the worst experience. After a quick google search I found My Laundromat, and saw it was open until 10pm. I came in and was not disappointed. All the machines are brand new. They have washers of every size. The quarter/soap machine is updated, and you don't even need cash to do laundry. I will definitely be coming back to this place. read more

I love this laundromat. Yeah, it's not fancy. Yeah, it's a little run down. BUT, if the coin machine is out, the owner will come right over when you call. The washing machines work well, and if you know which dryers to use, it's a good value. There is sometimes an issue with people having bad laundromat etiquette, but you can't blame the facility for that. read more

Just all sorts of no. I had to do a load of laundry on July 3rd and my usual laundromat (East Side Maytag which is like a 5 star resort compared to this place) closed early that day for the holiday. This and the one on Locust had sketchy reviews but I picked this one because I knew someone working at Harry's next store and figured I could get a drink. I'm not sure if it's actually dirty or just everything is severely outdated and old. But either way it could use a clean sweep of something new. Like someone else mentioned, cover up the walls with paint instead of strange "artwork" that has nothing to do with laundry. And yeah, it's just gross in there. I think the regular size dryers are the originals from way back when. They do have newer ones which of course I didn't see until after I put my money in but why wouldn't they just replace them all? Both of the change machines were not working, kinda hard to do laundry there without quarters! Luckily I had enough for one of my two loads. I asked another girl if she had used the machines and about 10 minutes earlier one worked fine. I went over to Harry's while my stuff washed and 3 different people came in asking for quarters. After they left, a manager told employees not to give out any change unless they make a purchase. She said the machines are constantly broken there. I feel bad for businesses in the area that have to give out change all of the time because of their lack of consideration. I would drive 8 miles just to not do laundry here again. read more

I came here because the usual laundromat I go to was closed due to power outage. The washers were okay, but it was the dryers that I had a problem with. After putting $1.25 for maybe 50 minutes, my clothes weren't entirely dry. It was warm and there were definitely some wet spots. Also, it didn't collect much lint off the clothes even with a lint sheet. It was okay, but I would only go back if I had an emergency. read more

This laundromat is relatively clean and it is open when promised. I needed to do 3 loads of wash on a Sunday morning. The extra large machines cost nearly 3 times the standard machines. The problem is that the extra large machines are only slightly larger than a standard home washer. That morning a few machines were out of commission. Fortunately a regular customer was able to show me how you need to put a spin on quarters for the dryers and then pound on them when the coins don't work the first three or four tries. The coin returns on the dryers are a bit spotty in working as well. I was asked by two customers to change 5 dollar bills because the change machine only took $1 bills. It seems that the place could be slightly cleaner, the machines could be somewhat larger, the prices could be more reasonable, the dryers could work a bit better, and the bill changer could handle larger bills given the expense of the place. Was it terrible? Not by a long shot. But it wasn't A-Okay, either. read more

Pros: Locally owned Owner is very nice and helps if you call Great prices, 1.50 for a top load washer 3.50 for a large front load, 25 cents every 10 minutes for the dryers, but the small ones take forever. Cons: Very busy. People from the surrounding areas of Shorewood come to use this place because of the low prices I assume. I've used this laundromat a couple of times, never once has my experience been positive or easy. The machines are extremely old and half of them don't work. Not only are the machines of poor quality, but the minimal customer service needed to run a laundry mat is subpar. If you're thinking about putting in a full load in the washer or dryer think again, as the owner will take your clothes out and put them all over the machines, floor, and baskets. I will never give this woman another dime as she has been extremely disrespectful to me and other customers. Don't waste your time or money, drive the extra mile. read more

I really like this laundromat. Some of the machines are broken, but it is cheaper than some I have been to, it is always clean, and its never super busy. It is also not as sketchy and creepy as some laundromats I have been to. I am giving it 5 stars because I do not expect much out of a laundromat, and this one exceeds that. read more

It's a mess. Dirty. Looks like it hasn't had a cleaning in decades - the floor, between the machines, gaskets around the machine windows and lids. It's tight. Owners open the place smoking. Can't they at least paint the walls white to give the APPEARANCE That it's clean? read more

This laundromat is not a place you should take your business to. So here's what happened - I'm doing my laundry at my apartment (yes, I know not at the laundromat) and it's 9:15ish I'm so desperate for 4 quarters. So I got to said laundromat to go to the quarter exchange, it's now 9:27 and I know because by 9:29 I'm livid. I walk in and this lady and an older gentleman are in the front the man looked shocked to see anybody and the lady brushed me off. I go try to put in ONE DOLLAR BILL. Yes a heinous act and the lady looking down at her phone just says "it's turned off. You don't even have laundry." now I'm not going to pore my heart out to this cranky lady who definitely didn't care about my wet sheets at home. I turn to her and just say it's in the car. The lady moves two feet and points to the machine that had the cheapest worn out label make sticker that says 'for laundromat customers only' I turn and just say Ok. I know this gal isn't on Yelp trying to save her place of employment for horribly long reviews, but she could be a kinder person. I bet she puts up with some shit, but rn I'm thinking about how I'm going to dry my sheets lady! read more
