This is a top notch laundry mat with full service too. Had a queen size comforter and light fleece blanket I wanted washed. One place I had used before wanted $22 just for the comforter and one of the "big name" dry cleaners wanted $25 just for the light blanket. Took both to The Laundry Shop and got both washed and folded for $22.50 They even packaged them in a nice zippered plastic container. On top of all that, they called me within 3 hours after I dropped them off to say they were ready. I'll be using them again. read more

Pretty nice for the following reasons: *came on a Sunday night and felt very safe. There was one other female washing her laundry and I asked her if it was a safe place. She said, "I don't know. It's my first time but it has great reviews online." *fair prices Not nice for the following reason: *2 load washer does not wash thoroughly. I had some clothes that were still partially dry upon removal. Like, the water didn't penetrate through all the clothes during a 30 minute wash. I've never been one to overload but if you have the machine labeled as "2 load" it sure as heck better handle 2 loads, otherwise I'll pay for the single and save my money. read more

What brings me here is our comforter. Yes the comforter, too large and fluffy for our washer at home. So this laundromat happens to be somewhat close to our home. They offer many different front loading and top loading machines. Also sporting two of the largest dryers I have ever seen. The stand about six and a half feet tall! I am surprised by the relative low cost to wash and dry items. Also offered here is a full service washing, drying and folding for a small fee. Along with dry cleaning services. I've been coming here twice a week for the past month for fluff and fold. It's 8 pounds minimum 1.35 per lb same day service if you drop off before 12 noon. Wash dry and fold very neatly and they also hang up all the shirts and pants if asked. They sort out all the clothing as well ( towels will be in one bag chiefs socks under clothes etc) fast and friendly service for a affordable price if you don't have time to do your own laundry. If you are in need of a good laundromat, I highly recommend The Laundry Shop. I have utilized this place a few times now, and absolutely love it. First of all, it is clean. After experiencing one laundromat that absolutely stunk, this is a very important factor for me. Secondly, they have very nice and helpful staff. They have washers and dryers in a variety of sizes to fit your needs. The prices vary, depending on what size machine you use. I normally use the large commercial washer when I'm here. The prices for that are $6.25 for the basic cycle, $6.75 for the super cycle, and $7.25 for the ultimate cycle. For the large commercial dryer, it is $2.50 for 32 minutes of use. In addition to the do it yourself laundry, they also have dry cleaning. If I ever need to have anything dry cleaned, I will be sure to check them out. read more

Cleanish, large, inexpensive, open late. I did my laundry here three times because of the location and late hours. I accidentally stayed too late and the cleaning/closing staff was quite gracious towards me as I loaded my car, then returned for more loads of clean clothes. read more

Racist laundromat I got change from the clerk and I told him thank you and he didn't respond then after I loaded my clothes and came back in and my clothes were in a basket that someone removed my stuff out of the washer. Respond to your comment I'm sure cause I didn't feel comfortable coming here so I won't be coming here again I'll take my business somewhere else. Just the vibe here made me feel uncomfortable because I'm Mexican in a all white laundry mat. So I went outside cause I was feeling out of place and no one has the right to touch other people property. Family business huh you must be Trump supporters cause the cashier looked at me like I didn't belong here. I went today to a different laundromat and I was welcomed by the attendant. I guess all of Glendale and franklin hates Mexicans and don't think we belong in there city cause the cities are high class and they don't think Mexicans can afford to live in these nice cities. I love this place! Great music, lots of magazines to read while laundry is washing...The ladies that own/run the place are so nice and helpful. The only thing I do not like are the prices of the machines. $1.25 for a small *small* load. I guess you pay for cleanliness though, the place is immaculate. read more

DO NOT BRING YOUR DRY CLEANING HERE!!!! I spilled something on the bridesmaids dress I was supposed to wear for my best friend's wedding and brought it here for cleaning. When I dropped it off I let them know that this dress was very important and they could take as long as they wanted cleaning it as long as they were extremely careful with it. I should have known there was a problem right away when the lady who took my dress couldn't even quote a price on the cleaning, but told me the owner would call me when he got in. When the owner didn't call me, I called him to discuss my dress and he couldn't even find it!! After he finally found it, I told him I was going to just come back and get it because their actions up to this point made me too nervous to leave my dress in their care. He gave me a long story about the whole situation and then told me if I take it elsewhere what kinds of chemicals they should be sure not to use on the dress because of the delicate chiffon material. Given his professionalism in this respect, I started thinking maybe it had all been a misunderstanding and decided to let them keep my business and clean my dress. BIG MISTAKE!! He called me when my "dress was clean" a few days later and not only was it not clean AT ALL, it had multiple snags in it and the hem was coming apart that I had just had done! The lady checking me out said she didn't know what to tell me so called the owner so I could talk to him. She even told him it was not clean and there were multiple snags in it. He offered to redo it, but there was no way I was leaving this dress in their care for one more minute! Not only did they not clean it and DAMAGED IT, but they even still made me pay for the "service!!!" UNBELIEVABLE!!! read more

We started taking our laundry to The Laundry Shop when we received a gift certificate from our daughter a year ago and have been going back ever since. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they do a great job with our laundry. Everything is folded, hung and smells terrific. We highly recommend taking your clothing to John and his team. I disagree with the previous reviewer--rude staff (for newcomer) and not terribly clean. I went in for the first time (my dryer at home broke) to do a few loads of wash. As soon as I walked in the staff there was in front of me telling me the laundry was full and there was a waiting line. I walked past 4 open machines that were "reserved" for a regular who was not quite ready to do her laundry, in fairness, as I walked past a second time, a woman was there placing clothing into the machine. The cost was $1.75 for an 18 lb washer and $3.50 for a larger machine. I thought that was high. Also, the appearance was not clean; on several of the washers, the face plate of the machine was literally falling off. Perhaps if they were operable, there would not be a need for a wait. I'm guessing it's a good place to go for a regular, but for a first timer, it will definitely be my last. read more

Super nice staff, always clean, great price deals, comfortable atmosphere. The owner and staff here are over the top nice people. They are nice and caring, the kind of people who notice someone needs help and just do it, like for me coming out to help bring in my laundry when they saw me outside bringing it in, or holding doors for people and many other things, just old fashioned good hearted people they have for staff. The place was recently remodeled. I never saw it before but it looks great. They have very clean restrooms and wash area, they have a TV with a huge I think plastma with table and chairs there as well as an area with toys for kids to play with. They also have more tables in the front. They also have the daily newespapers from surrounding areas and lots of magazines. So, it is very comfortable waiting for your clothes. There are several choices of machines and they have great price deals during the week. The clothes wash well and dry quickly. They have small to huge type washers and dryers. They also will do your laundry for you, have dry cleaning serving, ironing, and other services. It is fully attended. There is a soda and snack vending machine. You may hear country or mix music in the background. Its always clean and I can say I see the owner in there very often and again he is super nice person. So I really recommend this place. read more
