We were here for a birthday party and we were so impressed! The 2 ladies working the room really worked for their money (and more)! They had multiple mini gym classes for the kids, and in between these sessions, they taped up party decorations, set out the food, and even served the food. I was so impressed with them! My daughter is almost 7 so she's on the older end for My Gym but even she had a great time. The space is small but there's a lot of activities in that small spacem They both loved the mini zipline and sitting on the "hotdog swing". My wild child/toddler attended MyGym for several months on a weekly basis and really enjoyed it! Every week was different and the staff was so creative with the activities and equipment. Each class is about 50 minutes and there's a limit of how many kids can attend. For example, when we attended Gymsters (21 months to 2.5 years old) class, there were 10 kids max. My daughter learned basic tumbling, sharing with other kids, group play, and was able to expend her energy through the various activities. The staff was always very patient and engaging with the kids. After class is done, they provide hand sanitizer as well as a sticker for the kids. We didn't take advantage of it, but they also had Parents Night Out where you would drop them off for a few hours as well as themed events as well. We came here for a birthday party and I was quite impressed. I've heard great things about this place but to experience it with my children is pretty cool. It's a small indoor play area but they're so creative with their equipment. My kids played for 1.5 hours and didn't want to leave. The people who work here are great with kids and facilitated group activities throughout the party. Not only are the kids getting their energy out, but they're using many important skills, such as balancing, strength, and agility. I like the idea that socks can only be worn inside the play space. The area isn't perfect spot clean but it is much cleaner compare to many indoor play areas. read more

I bring my 2.5 year old here and we LOVE it! Each week they rearrange the place so it's new each time. Each class they have a few games or activities to do and then they have free play. It has been so great for learning how to share, gain confidence and strength, and the staff are all amazing. Can't say enough good things about this place. My three year old loves My Gym! We initially discovered this place through his daycare, which offers mobile classes from My Gym Chantilly. We loved the mobile summer camp classes offered last year so much that we signed our son up for their weekly classes at his daycare center. Every week we get to hear all about the fun games and obstacle courses that My Gym sets up for the kids. My son really loves the instructors Mr. Nathan and Mr. Ed. We've also attended a birthday party here and were impressed with how organized and well run it was. All the kids seemed really engaged in the activities, which were appropriate for their skill level. Recently, we took our son to a drop off class so we could get a break for a few hours and he could run around. I was worried he would have a hard time when I left, but the instructors were so inviting and the gym has so many fun things. He barely said bye to me before running off to play! Overall, our son has really enjoyed his experience with My Gym and as parents with an active three year old boy, we feel the classes and events are a good value! read more

I only have good words for MyGym Chantilly. I brought my son to MyGym for the first time when he was 18 months old, now he is 3 years old. I was a new mother and I needed a place where my son learns to socialize with other children. To my surprise, he not only made many friends but I, as a mother as well. Now, here is why I like MyGym so much: The staff teaches each class with enthusiasm and professionalism. They recognize each child by name which creates an environment of trust. Also, my son is always learning something new every time he goes to MyGym, even now, we are practicing social distancing; the MyGym super team (owner and staff) are offering virtual classes to their members, where children can continue with the dynamics of learning at home. We have attended all the virtual lessons since it started, and my son absolutely loved it! (mommy too). In addition, the staff is super flexible. They accommodate parents' needs in the best possible way, with recommendations, make up classes, payment options etc. Finally, MyGym offers other type of classes or activities for members and non-members at a reasonable price. I really enjoyed taking my daughter to this MyGym. We are taking a break after a year of being enrolled in the classes due to an extended vacation/new class. We definitely plan on returning and I drive 30-45 minutes just to come to this location. We became familiar with this location after attending a friend's birthday. We really enjoyed the party, the teachers were great and the kids had a great time. I have not had any issues, I enjoyed the fact that for the most part there were always familiar faces. Miss Heather is great and all the teacher do well to keep the kids engaged as well as make sure kids wash hands/use tissues etc/ good manners! It is excellent! I appreciate them making sure kids are washing their hands and covering their mouths when coughing. I have seen my daughter grow with confidence utilizing what she learned from the class. We have been coming here for about two years and the staff is great. During the pandemic they accommodated our concerns and provided a safe environment for our son to play. I'm a little biased - I worked here from 2005 to 2009. The previous owner did a great job leading classes and birthday parties. He hired staff with gymnastics backgrounds [except for me] - so they could demonstrate exercises ... and see when a child was not doing it right. Most importantly, it was FUN for the kids. I am such a fan of this place, specifically their offering of a "Special Stars" class and their staff that designs and implements the class. This class is about half and half structured vs. open play time, which gives participants opportunities both to practice attention, focus, and listening skills as well as the freedom to try the various apparatuses at their own pace and on their own terms. The instructors are very understanding of different kids' ways of participating in the class and are always very quick (and respectful) in making changes on the fly with changes in class composition, behaviors, etc. I also really like that the class isn't restricted in the special needs that it accommodates - it's simply a safe place for all kinds of children who might find a standard structured class too overwhelming. We've found these types of safe, accepting opportunities to be limited for our little one and we've found this class to be a really important part of the great development that we've seen. read more

My Gym Chantilly recently hosted my son's 5th birthday party. I cannot begin to express how pleased we were with the experience! The kids had a blast and our son felt very special! Mr. Nathan and Mr. J are amazing! It was the perfect mix of organized activity and unstructured play. There were 15 children, 13 of whom have special needs. Although parents were present, for the most part, they managed the party with very minimal parental intervention. This speaks volumes about My Gym Chantilly's commitment to provide fun quality experiences to ALL children regardless of ability. Every member of the staff that has interacted with my child has been exceptional! My son has also been attending classes (they currently offer 2 adapted classes) here for 2 years and regularly enjoys their day camps (seriously, these camps have become one of our favorite things when school is out). We had my son's 2nd birthday party here with 20 kids aged from 2-6 and every single one of them and their parents had a blast! The kids were totally into all the activities led by mr. Eric and mr. Dan and going crazy over all the different play areas and even the parents were excited and impressed with the place. When you book a party you and your guests also get free weeks of enrollment so my son and I have attended a couple of the classes and practice and play sessions. He absolutely loves it here! All the teachers are awesome and engaging and my 2 year old's face lights up when I tell him we're going to My Gym or even when he recognizes that we are driving up to it! The Mighty Mites class was a great experience for my child. The instructors really know what they are doing and have endless patience. They are kind to the children yet firm, and encourage the kids to do their best and not give up. My son enjoyed going each week. I would recommend this gym to anyone whose child craves lots of activity and movement, or if your child is shy/apprehensive to try new things. We've been going to My Gym Chantilly for over 2 years taking various classes. We just had our daughter's 5th birthday party there and it was fantastic! We've attended parties at other jump house places, etc. but what makes My Gym parties so nice is that there is interaction and engagement from the staff with the kids. I recently wrote an email to the office recognizing the teachers and efforts they put into helping the children grow. My twins (3 yrs) have been going to the gym since they were 2 1/2 for weekly classes. It was adjustment at first since they really only socialized with each other and their other siblings, but after being in the gym class for several months I see such an improvement in how they are in a social setting. It's a great preparation for a school environment. I like how for each class they introduce themselves to each other and answer a simple question (ie. their favorite color, book, or toy, etc.). This helps them all to feel more comfortable and they quickly learn they have similar interests with other kids. It also helps them to come out their shell a little more. They get to do free play, learn practice skills that they also love to try at home, and they also get some 1 on 1 time with the instructors. They learn to take turns, cheer on their friends, while they also cheer back for them and just basic social play in a learning atmosphere. Going to the classes weekly have DEFINITELY helped my kids grow, mature, be confident, try new things and let loose outside the house. The instructors are also very professional and patient. They understand some kids are challenging, some throw tantrums and some are just having bad days, so they give them time to slowly come around and ease them into the transitions of being in the gym. My twin boy had a harder time sitting for class at times, than his twin sister, but on those days my husband had to work, the instructors helped me out with my double trouble, which I really appreciated. And my girl twin was a lot more fearful than her fearless brother, so My Gym has helped her to get over some fears of getting hurt. I can't believe she's trying some new things and being so confident. They've each excelled in their own areas. Weekly classes like this make a difference in how kids grow and get along with other kids. We use a lot of their gym's techniques at home and incorporate it in daily learning. Also, members get unlimited free play so if ever they wanted to just let loose and have fun, they can attended a free play session at no charge. So it's a win-win for parents and kids :) read more

Our 2 1/2 yr old has been going to the Chantilly My Gym for just over a year. It has been a really fun experience for her and it has really supported her coordination and risk taking. When we are at park I notice she is very comfortable on playground equipment that many of her peers are not. We enjoy taking her, too. We wanted a place for our son to get some extra exercise and activity, and we found a great one at My Gym in Chantilly. He's been going there since he turned 1 (he's a little over 2 now) and he loves it. The activities are great, the teachers are wonderful, and it's been a great experience. In particular one of the things I like is that there are both female and male teachers there for him to interact with. At daycare, he's entirely exposed to female caregivers and authority figures and this was good for him to see that men can interact with him as well. My son is 3 and he has been going to My Gym for over 1.5 years. When we started going to My Gym my son really didn't like to do any physical activity and was really shy around other kids. Since I was a stay at home mom I wanted my son to get in the interaction with other kids. My son was very shy at first but the staff has helped him build his confidence. My son is able to do circle time and do all the still stations taught in class each week and has become a better listener. He gets really excited every time I tell him we have to go to class at My Gym. He loves his teachers and enjoys showing them that he can do the activities.
