This is a beach theme bar, with a ton of things going on. They had vendors, and one was selling Venus fly traps of all things. There's plenty of beer to be consumed. They have a nice taproom with seating, and plenty of seats and tables out on the "beach." This is a great place for a young adult date, not to mention a family spot. Dogs are welcome, and I saw a decent amount of kids running around. They didn't broadcast live sports during my visit. I did see people eating, but couldn't really tell where the food was coming from. I didn't want to venture around because I don't see well, and the grounds are composed of pea rocks. I did see rooftop seating, but I'm not sure what's up there. This place is next to a Sheetz gas station, and if worse comes to worse, you can literally walk there and buy food and no one would know your'e gone because it's so close. The parking here is bad. Real bad. There is an adjacent small strip small with parking, and a catering hall with a huge parking lot. I opted for the catering hall, but walking to this venue was tricky, because there isn't a sidewalk. This place has casual charm. I observed a small family playing Uno at their table, and their activity summed up what this place is about. A family friendly safe place to relax.

We did our ceremony in the large grassy area in front of a big tree, cocktail hour on the back terrace, and dinner upstairs in the main room. With ten guest tables and our sweetheart table in the corner we had plenty of space for the DJ and a good size dance floor. We had a buffet and bar downstairs (this could be an issue for older guests to get down the stairs). Because it's a county park it is significantly more affordable than any other venue we considered. They recently did some renovations and the bathrooms are now very nice-bright, clean, spacious (unfortunately there are only 2 bathrooms, but I don't think this was an issue for the number of guests we had). We had a fantastic wedding here and have lots of beautiful pictures from the day. I highly recommend!

My colleague, mentor and friend's book launch and masterclass was debuted here and what an event it was!! This community center was the perfect venue to launch such a spectacular book. There is ample parking, spacious rooms, and a great location to host any event. Please checkout the book "I Forgive You" ... it can change your perspective on human interconnectedness and interpersonal relationships! If someone wronged you and is shutting you out as punishment, this is their internal traumas showing in physical form... if communication isn't an option just forgive them. "There is psychological and emotional freedom in forgiveness."

Shab did a fabulous job explaining the venue to us, Fara laid out all of our decor options, Viviane helped us with the audio/visual, and Mashal helped us with with the food and billing. We felt completely guided throughout the entire process and the team was very responsive to our needs. Fara (Ala Mode) impressed us with her ability to make our fairytale vision come to life! Fara met with us several times to review our details and preferences. She really gets to know her clients! Fara's knowledge of decor, flowers, and arrangements is truly a gift! She executed exactly what we wanted. My mom and I loved Fara so much! Viviane and her team at Bright Consultation set the tone for our reception. Months before our big day, they had us come in and selected everything from the hues of the lights to the style of the name projection on the wall. Bright Consultation made our DJ's life easier by having an awesome sound system that he could just plug into. Bright Consultation also made our grand entrance perfect with the cold spark boxes and the amazing spot lights! The lighting was perfect! Whitehall is a beautiful venue and was very easy to work with. They had the cows out in the field…read morenear the barn for our wedding day, which was so fun! (But also optional if you don't like cows) They don't yet have water running to the barn, but included in the price were some luxury toilets. They also don't have chairs that can be used outside for a ceremony, which is a bummer, but we were able to rent some for cheap. Highly recommend, it was really nice to have a venue that was so beautiful that we didn't have to decorate it very much!
