Seriously loved this for my 13 month old. We did the siblings and friends class Tuesday and my daughter couldn't have been more happy. We played we danced we sang and it was so fun. I will be bringing her back for more classes and signing up for the membership read more

My Gym - Gyms Near Me - Arvada, Colorado

I love My Gym in Arvada! I've been taking my 2 year old for a couple months now and she just loves it. She can even recognize the building when we go there and excitedly says "gym! gym!" We have had great experiences with almost all of the teachers, especially Miss Ashta. Miss Ashta was so helpful and professional when I initially signed up for the gym as the website was having some issues so I couldn't do it on my own. I was thrilled when she was the instructor for our first class and helped show me and my daughter the ropes of how My Gym works. She is wonderfully enthusiastic and active with the kiddos, as are all of the teachers we've had there so far. (Shoutout to Miss Lauren, too!) It's been such a wonderful experience that has helped my wild child learn how to channel her energy, learn new skills, and make friends! Edited to add: I love that they change the curriculum every week, too. It makes it so my child never gets bored but always has access to her favorite activities at the gym as well! read more

My almost 3 year old and I come here often and we love it! My daughter is also involved in the preschool prep program and it has been life changing! Ms. Alex and her team are the absolute best! They all genuinely care about your child and take the time to get to know them. I am so grateful I found this place! read more

We love my gym! I have been taking my boys to My Gym since they were about a year old so we have been members for about seven years now. Class is great but practice and play (open gym) is the boys absolute favorite. Their motor skills have improved significantly. In fact we have found my gym to be more beneficial than OT, BT, ABA or social skills group- I suspect because it is a friendly, fun, non-clinical setting. The staff has been super kind and accommodating to my son with an autism spectrum disorder and I feel he has made so much progress because of My Gym. Compared to expensive therapies the monthly membership fee is an excellent value. We have a nice group of families in class and it is fun to see them around town too! read more

I've been taking my kids to my gym for years. First my oldest he started going about four years ago now my middle child has been going for half a year. The teachers make my son feel welcomed. He's usually so shy but looks forward to gym class. I do feel the price is a little much but my children are so happy going so I don't mind. I can't wait to take my youngest there. Our favorite teachers are miss alex, miss Dominique miss charity and miss hope. There are others just can't remember their names. read more

I came here as a photographer for a children's birthday party, so I kind of had a bird's eye view of the whole show. And I was impressed. I wasn't sure how letting a bunch of children loose in a gym would possibly be a good idea (aged 1-7) but this place had their stuff together. First, you come in and take off your shoes (adults wear socks, kids can go barefoot) and leave your stuff by the door. Don't worry though, because for private parties you get the entire location to yourselves. There are long tables at the front where they seat the children to eat the cake/treats/whathaveyou at the end of the party so you can set up on those as well. The main room is filled with cool things for the kids to climb on, bounce on, slide down, and there's a ball pit too! Score! The great thing about this party was there were three girls (high school I'm guessing) who worked there who were in charge of the event. They kept the party moving with different activities - the parachute we're all so familiar with from kindergarten, turning some of the climbing apparati (apparatuses?) into swings hanging from the ceiling, assisting the children on a zip line seat, etc. There was definitely no time for the children to be bored. If I had kids, I'd definitely do something like this. It was a great facility, it has great staff, and it's a wonderful idea for a birthday party with young kids. read more

My son has been attending My Gym since October and he absolutely loves it. All of the instructors do such a great job playing with and including the kids. Also the only place we've gone to where the instructors give each child individual help if needed. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!! read more

My Gym - Being silly with construction cones. - Gyms Near Me - Arvada, Colorado

We had our son's 4 year old birthday party here. Alex and he team were amazing, it was affordable, and the kids loved it. Highly recommend.

Our son has been going to MyGym for about 6 months. I literally stumbled upon the store and knew I had to get him in as soon as I walked in. I love the class format, the energy of the teachers (we love Miss Domenique!), and the other kids. Timmy's gross motor skills have improved so much since starting this class. He can usually sit thru the whole circle group now and has learned the songs and routine. My only critique is that they offer one free class to interested families, so sometimes the class is full of kids who just come for the freebie and never come back. And it can get crowded (although they cap the class at around 12 kids). I wonder if it's possible to host special free classes on nights there aren't regular classes.... read more

My son goes here for new gymnastics. He has a blast and his teachers are great. He's had a lot of fun and made some good friends. I hate the recommended this to other parents looking for a fun and fit activity for the kids. read more

They never answer their phone, they don't respond to texts and they require that you pay for a membership. I'm sure overall this place is great for kids but we will never know since we can't ever reach anyone. The business operations side of the company is lacking for sure. Also, many kids gyms that I have taken my children to, do not require a membership fee. Just my experience with them hence the review. read more

We have been going to My Gym Arvada for over a year and a half and love it! The teachers are so great with the kids and really know how to engage them. They are really energetic and seem to really enjoy the kids and their jobs. The classes are divided by age group and are a great mix of structure and free play. My kids (1 1/2 yo and almost 3 yo) are currently in a mixed age sibling class and they look forward to it every week! It's great having something fun and active I can safely do alone with two young kids, especially during the colder months. They have some open play scheduled during the week as well where you can bring your kids in addition to their weekly class. Make up classes are also really easy to schedule which I appreciate. I also had no issues when I cancelled my enrollment last summer for a few months. We easily re-enrolled in the fall without paying a new member fee (you are a lifetime member once you join). Look for their open houses for discounts on enrollment and possibly even the first month class fees. The monthly fee is borderline pricey, but I feel my kids get so much out of it that it's worth it. They do offer a discount for siblings/multiples. Overall, it's a great place run by great people and we are thrilled we found it! read more

We absolutely love my gym, we love all the staff! My daughter really loves Miss charity and Miss Lauren! Most of the stuff is super nice and helpful with the kids, there is one staff member that is not very parent-friendly, very smirky and rude most of the time, does not really have a good fun child personality like the others. I believe her name is miss Sydney. but other than that we love everything about my gym! read more

I originally received a gift certificate for my 2 year old for 4 classes. When we arrived we had no clue what to expect. Its very fast paced but keeps the kids interested. They have a "structured" class which consists of parent involved activities, a little bit of singing and dancing, and some story time. ITS GREAT! They also have a playtime. This is great for the kids to burn energy. The staff is so great with kids. The only reason I couldn't give a 5 star is because of the lack of knowledge of the memberships from the staff. Each staff member kept telling me something different. On one occasion my mom and daughter were turned away without an explanation. I felt so bad for my 2 year old. But I hope to have positive experiences from here out. read more

We have been going here for almost a month now and my daughter loves it!! The teachers are so friendly and patient with the kids and always have such cute circle time songs and activities to keep the kids entertained! We also love the free play that they have so the kids can be kids and the skill stations that each teacher is set up for the kids to try too! Alex is awesome and my daughter looks forward to going to gymnastics and always has a huge smile on her face as we pull into the parking lot!! read more

The staff here is amazing. We've attended many classes where the staff are always ready with a lot of energy to lead easy games or just to run around and play tag. We just had our three year old's birthday party here and that was amazing. The staff did all the activities we were hoping for like bouncy castle, zipline, and games. But they were also right there to help serve cupcakes, play our son's favorite songs on their sound system, and helped up clean up and pack up our food and decorations. The facility is always clean, too. read more

Absolutely love My Gym, and so does my daughter! We signed up a couple months ago, got a free trial class, and now we go as often as we can. I like that they sort the classes into small age groups, so everyone in the class is relatively close in size and development. This is important, especially for the little kids. Class time (which meets weekly) includes warm-ups, a dance, free play time, structured skill practice, a puppet show, songs, and time for the kids to play independently from their parents. I love that they rearrange the equipment in the gym every week, so there's always something new to explore. Literally, there are thousands of ways to arrange all the different mats, ramps, slides, beams, and structures for climbing. The ball pit is always a big hit, too. The staff are very friendly and work well with the kids, even my shy daughter has come out of her shell with a few of the teachers. I also love the practice time they have, which is really just open play time for the kids. All ages are allowed to attend, but it's usually younger kids I've found. It's 45 minutes for the kids to run around and play, and practice the skills they learned that week. Perfect for getting wiggles out, especially when it's snowing or cold out! read more

Description of my one experience... Signed my 10 month old up for the little bundles/tiny tykes class free trial. I posted it to my Facebook page to see if any other local mommies wanted to join. There were 4 of us total who signed up for the free trial. We were the only ones in this class. The girls who were running the class were young and nice (I believe their names were hope and Hayley). We started out signing some songs and doing little baby workouts and movements with our kiddos on the floor. Then we had a minute of play time while they set up the first activity (the place is big with a ball pit, trampoline, slide, etc). We did the first balance type activity on a mat. Then the girls set up the second activity which was swings suspended from the ceiling. The third activity was sliding sort of like you would down a snow hill (on a board). In between you can play with all of the other equipment. We did the swings one more time after the slide then they brought our a huge machine and we sang a little song. All in all the class was good. One of the girls handed out a flyer and spoke of more information about the classes and schedule while we were playing on the swings. At the end we were putting our shoes on and getting ready to go...that's when they pushing happened. The two girls working there started asking each of us what we thought of the class and if we would like to sign up for future classes. There is a membership fee and if we had signed up before January we get a discount on our first month of classes. We each declined. One by one. The next girl would ask the next mommy. Then, a lady who I'm assuming was a manager or owner walked over and asked us all again if we were interested in signing up for the membership and classes. It was very uncomfortable for all 4 of us and we couldn't wait to get our of there. I most likely will not return for 2 reasons. The membership fee. And the pushy sales attitude. I want a welcoming environment. Not one where there only trying to get our money. A punch card would be nice. Or even just a monthly one time fee for 4 weeks of classes would be good. But a fee just to sign up. Plus monthly auto payments. No thank you. I can find better classes that are closer to my home for cheaper. read more

We had a birthday party for our 4 year old here this weekend and I couldn't give this place more praise! It's clean and tidy as soon as you walk in, the staff are communicative, fun and organized, the kids all loved the activities and it was the right mix of structured activity and free play. Thank you, My Gym! read more
