Restaurant located near LAX. The menu here has kind of a California farm to table vibe. Although…read morethe menu does feel pretty eclectic at least on the e early day/ lunch side (which is when I visited) The sense of hospitality and service here is fantastic. I came in on a holiday half expecting for the place to be closed. It was open so I got an early meal here. I was able to sit at the bar area right away, which is my favorite place to sit usually. It's fun seeing the chefs prep the food and just seeing them do their thing. I ended up ordering their pastrami sandwich, which was so delicious. Scanning the rest of the menu I definitely want to come back here soon. And to try out their dinner service as well. This building is pretty large. It doesn't look huge from the outside or when you walk in, but when I went to the bathroom, I had to go to the second floor. Lots of cool art around the building.

Just went here for morning coffee. I have been looking for a nice place closer to where I stay on…read morebusiness to grab coffee and work, and I may have found my new coffee spot. Major win for Tomat over other coffeeshops is the parking. Most coffeeshops have horrible morning parking, but Tomat will never have this issue as it shares the lot behind the Staples. If coffeeshop parking ever feels like a burden, go to Tomat. While parking allows me to visit a coffeeshop, it still needs to be worth visiting, and Tomat is definitely worth visiting. The coffee menu has your usual suspects, but there are some adventurous lattes to change things up, i hope they keep things fresh with a rotation of seasonal drinks, but solid basics will bring me back regardless. I had an iced dirty london fog and a clarified coldbrew. Both were good. The clarified coldbrew is run through a centrifuge to remove fines and pariticles that cloud the coldbrew leading to a cleaner coldbrew that is less bitter and does not have muddy sediment at the bottom.

This place is so good and has a drive thru! During my last visit, I got a Chocolate Raised donut,…read morean Apple Fritter, and a Bear Claw. I made sure to wait till I got home, so I could have these delectable desserts with a glass of milk. You cannot miss this iconic donut shop and it never misses. I remember when we would have this for special occasions at work and also great times with family and friends. Fortunately and just recently, we started to have more appearances of Randy's Donuts at work. It is such a great feeling knowing you finished a shift and seeing those orange boxes filled with incredible donuts in the break room. Last week, I took home a chocolate covered donut and enjoyed the sweetness along the road home. I will always recommend this iconic establishment and all the goods it has to offer!

Very Disappointed With Randy's Donuts at LAX…read more I've always visited Randy's Donuts at the LAX location whenever I'm nearby or heading to the airport, but after this experience, I'll definitely think twice before coming back. First of all, $2.50 plus tax for a plain glazed donut? Seriously? I think $1.50-$2.00 would be a much more reasonable price. If you're going to charge premium prices, at least make sure the quality justifies the cost. By the afternoon, the donuts aren't even warm. Mine was stale, hard, greasy, and tasted like it had been sitting around since the previous day. To make matters worse, you could actually see the grease on the donut. It was honestly unappetizing and gross. What happened to the quality Randy's Donuts used to be known for? Instead of maintaining the freshness and delicious taste that made this place popular in the first place, the experience now feels overpriced and disappointing. It's frustrating to pay that much for a donut and receive something that doesn't even taste fresh. Higher prices should come with quality, not a decline in it. Plus it seems like a tourist trap. Unfortunately, Randy's Donuts is no longer worth the price to me. After being a returning customer for so long, I'm disappointed to say goodbye. Goodbye, Randy's.

I found the churro joint within 5 minutes of the park. A super small hole in the wall shop. The man was super kind. They make their churros fresh as you order so it'll take at least 6-8 minutes for your order to come out. When I went there was one party before me. I ordered 3 churro set. It comes with a free dipping sauce. Mine came relatively soon after. It was crispy on the outside. A part of me felt like my churro was a little undercooked??? But the freshness and hotness was enough for me to overlook and I didn't get a stomachache or anything so I think it was fine lol I saw there was berries and cream option. I'd like to try that some time. I hope they eventually can do Nutella drizzles since they can't do that for now.

The ambiance like that of a small outdoor cafe. Tbe service is top notch. You wait 3-6 minute and have a churro that those at Disney would die for and can only dream of. We bought the sack three medium with lechera, but then had to come back for the bit size ones with fruit too. The family running this place is incredible and they're really putting their heart and soul into this place! We're all so lucky! The Churro Joint is the joint for churros! If you like churros, this is the place!
