    Biscoff white chocolate
    Kristen H.

Why did I have to find this place. And my dumb self had to ask if they have a loyalty program. They have punch cards. Chocolate chip cookies are my pathetic weakness and I guess now I am upgrading to gourmet. Three bucks for day old cookies so at least I can kinda rationalize it. I got the biscoff with white chocolate chips. Sigh. Its still good. Of course. Definitely Crumbl level sweet though like eating insulin. If I am ever over here I am automatically out three to five bucks for obligatory cookie business. They've been here two years and are the only one in LA I guess, having started in Utah. I'm sure they will blow up with the right marketing and hopefully knock freaking Sprinkles cupcakes out of the market.

First time trying Chip in Culver City on 8/30/25 and I'm not so sure how I feel about it. I did think the shop was clean and modern. Customer service was good, the staff was friendly. I tried the day old cookie as well as a fresh one. I thought the day old Biscoff was tasty as well as the sea salt dark chocolate. For me, I thought the cookies were too doughy and thick. But I loved the dark chocolate sea salt taste. Also, 1 cookie was $6 and it wasn't like a huge cookie. For me, the customer service I received deserved the 4 stars. They are located in a big plaza with plenty of parking.

Let me start off by saying I'm a tough judge on chocolate chip cookies! Are these really good? Sure but I felt something was missing. The dough tasted too bland. But they are nice and soft. I'm just used to Bristol farm cookies (iykyk) and these were compared to Bristol but they don't compete. Get the day old cookies for 3 dollars. Only difference in taste is one is hot and one isn't. So if that doesn't matter to you, get the day old ones for cheaper. Staff was friendly Easy shopping center parking.

If I could describe Chip cookies in one word, it would be decadence. I heard about this place from TikTok and had no idea that this dessert spot was hidden in a shopping center I had been to numerous times and hadn't noticed it at all. I went in and my server took me through the process. I ordered four cookies--two plain chocolate chip ones (which were still enormous) and two chip fan favorites with all the bells and whistles. The Cookies are huge! I really loved the tres leches and the oreo dunk, though just a heads up that they are pretty sweet thanks to the toppings. If you want a decadent cookie, this is for you! But they also have plain cookies and I enjoyed my chocolate chip ones too. It was pretty quiet when I went on a weekday and there is parking in the shopping center parking lot.

Small store located in the large Ralph's shopping area. Cookies are large, perfect amount of crisp on the outside, and soft inside. Thick and quite substantial. And most importantly, not too sweet. If you want sweet, you can add frosting or toppings but I skipped right by these. I love that they have a "boneless" cookie. It's described as a butter cookie but it tasted like a chocolate chip cookie without the chocolate chips! Sometimes, the dough is all you want. ;) $5 each, came up to a little over $11 for two. I dare say these are better than Levain!

Not gonna lie, I had a pretty tragic experience today. Which really sucked because Chip used to be my favorite cookie spot. I came pretty much every week, definitely a regular. This isn't so much a review as a vent, but here goes. I arrived at 11:18, thinking it was perfect timing since they were supposed to open at 11. But they weren't open yet. I probably should've taken that as a sign to come back later, but I waited another 20 minutes until the owner showed up. She let me in, which I appreciated at first, but things went downhill quickly. While she didn't make the cookies herself, the girl who did, didn't do a great job. To be fair, it looked like they were running low on supplies, so maybe that played a role. Then the owner tried to upsell me from 8 to 12 cookies, which, okay, business is business, but then she charged me extra for the boxes to carry them in. Like... that was her idea. Why am I paying more for that? The whole thing just felt very transactional, which is not how it normally is. Then I got back to work, only to find the icing on all the cookies had melted during a 30-minute car ride. Super weird, because I've reheated these cookies in the oven with icing on them before and they've held up fine. But today, just the sun through a tinted car window can ruin them I guess. Worst part: this was for a cookie competition. I ended up dead last, and my coworkers literally laughed at what I brought in. Full on cackle. It was humiliating. So yeah, not a good day at Chip Cookie Culver City. I still recommend the place because I've had great experiences before. But if the owner is the one working... maybe try coming back another time.

Whenever I'm in an area I don't go to very often, I check Yelp for any good bakeries or dessert spots. So I decided to pop in here at about 9:00 p.m. on a Friday and was pleasantly surprised to see that all their flavors were available. The staff here is super friendly and explained how everything works. You can get plain cookies, already topped and decorated cookies, or add toppings of your choosing to cookies. I opted for just plain naked cookies because I'm not a big fan of frosting and I really just wanted to try the cookies themselves. They're puffy in the middle because some of them have filling but they're cooked to perfection. A little crispy on the outside and soft but not undercooked on the inside. They were the perfect level of sweetness and I'd say the salted chocolate chip was the best, but they were all great. My husband said it was probably some of the best cookies he's ever eaten. My only complaint is that there isn't a location closer to us! Please come to the San Fernando valley, Chip!

Yall. 10/10 if you like thicker cookies that are a little crispy on the outside and soft and chewy and crumbly on the inside.... The sw is by far my favorite : it's a classic chocolate chip cookie with a sprinkle of sea salt. It's so perfect. The biscoff is also really good: it's like a sugar cookie with biscoff flavoring. We also really like the cocoa one, tastes like a lighter brownie. And they're not too sweet!Come try them! I also have to sign up for an account to get points.... I've been here with the hubby and our friends 4 x the last few weeks lol Also everyone is so friendly here! Thanks for a great experience folks !

Ambiance: it's a spacious cookie shop, they have the counter to customize cookies and the racks to keep cookies warm Service: friendly staff and patient with questions Food: standard choices or you can add your own toppings Raspberry Cookie - *** based on butter cookie, good combination of acidity from the raspberry chips and sweetness from the wet cookie dough Price: each cookie costs about $6, and the 4-pack price is roughly three cookies price for four pieces, which is a better deal but still relatively overpriced

The cutest cookie store! If your vibe is soft ooey gooey cookies, this is 100% your spot. For those who like crunchy cookies, find another cookie shop. These cookies were cooked just the way I like them. They're sweet but not overly sweet and it's amazing with milk. The staff is still learning so be patient. They were all so kind and helpful. I'll definitely be back when I'm around this area. Grand Opening is 3/23/2024 from 5pm-10pm.

Stopped by twice now, early on weekends so the shop was quiet. My first time visiting, the woman working was so patient with me and explained the menu. I went with the OG, biscoff, sugar and smores. The second time I just got the cookies and cream. The cookies aren't cheap but they're hefty. I love that the cookies are warm. The shop decor is modern, packaging is nice. I could've used more sea salt on my OG cookie, but I really enjoyed the s'mores (sad this was a limited time item!) and biscoff cookies. The icing on the sugar was a little sweet for me after a few bites but I really liked the flavor and texture of the cookie. I stopped by another time b/c I love all things cookies and cream. I know there's another chocolate Oreo customized cookie but chocolate base cookies aren't my personal favorite. But I loved the cookies and cream cookie - so sad it was a limited time item. I would definitely come back if I wanted a sweet treat. Shop is in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking. I come here for some of the other stores and never noticed this cookie shop until recently when I was served an ad on instagram (yay advertising works! lol) but I'm glad I found it!

Fan Favorite- Better then Sex cookie
    Cesar T.

The OG Chocolate chip lacked Chocolate chips, more dough then chips. The Better then Sex cookie was good, but overpriced based on all the other cookie companies. Should not be higher then $5. Also I got the impression that they don't baked all day, cookies didn't look freshly baked. Crumbl and Dirty Dough bake through out the day. Tried it once, but won't be back.

    Very thick cookie

Ambiance is very nice, modern with a touch of old times vibe. Service- I went for a pick up order and I did wait what seemed like a long time. They didn't hear that someone came in. Many minutes later, a security guard walked in. I thought she was there to buy cookies but realized she was there as their security. A little strange because there wasn't anyone except me, a many of the people (the demographic) have higher than average income because it's Culver City. It just felt weird. She was watching me. I would advise a bell on the door or a bell for someone to ding because nobody came out for several minutes- and if they're worried about theft, then they need someone in the front. The cookies- very flavorful. I had a cookie crunch /cookie and cream, and I tried a chocolate chip cookie. They weren't fresh because the order was for extras made that would have gone to waste; but they were flavorful. I like slight crisp edges with chewy throughout. These are not like that. They're huge, and thick like half almost half a baseball, which when baked can sometimes be more along of bread like- but these were pretty gooey/soft. Would I buy again? Yeah but I can't say it's my favorite. They do have other things to try they could make it a favorite; they offer vanilla ice cream scoops for on top of a fresh warm cookie! I will have to go back just to try that. They also sell the cookie dough so you can make at home which is brilliant.

During the holiday season, that kind of just passed, I could not escape IG reels that romanticized…read morethe power of hot chocolate. Apparently, it can be so rich and thick (European Style) that it is part healing warmth and the other part just wildly delicious. So I decided to go ahead and find a cup of thick, and rich cocoa to hit me with holiday splendor, the kind that can re-assemble Frosty after his final melt. My friend Conrad and I were the duo who ventured to ChocoVivo to try chocolate, on chocolate, on chocolate, with some water on the side. ChocoVivo is in Culver City. The place itself is on Washington Blvd amidst some bars, and eateries. This place lends itself to be a dessert spot, an experience for chocolate lovers and those who are not, and anyone who just wants to experience the taste of chocolate in-depth and in odd luxury. As soon, as I entered, I made a beeline for the counter. I was overwhelmed with all the chocolatey choices: pastries, drinks, squares, with the list continuing exhaustively, it even included a chocolate skull that might serve better as decoration than a treat. I excused myself and went to use the restroom, I dared not ask questions to understand my options, when my bladder was full. I might make rash decisions, due to my inability to focus. And with so many options in front of me, I wanted to sample what was right and balanced for me. I wanted to sample chocolate, I just did not just want to taste chocolate. My trip to the facilities was a small adventure in itself. I passed a room with a man working on his laptop. But the room, seemed to be, like a Sultan's rest-room. It had pillows, hanging lamps, and a cream like colored that reminded me of sun-kissed sand. I clipped the room. There is a Minion (from Illumination fame) chilling in one of the couches. Another picture shows, a fishing net (maybe) with make-shift clouds pouring out of it, also leafs and butterflies. It seemed to be the remains of a shipwreck but it also held decorations that could have made the space more beautiful. I believe, and I could be wrong, of course, that this room used to be functional. A place to lounge, and see beauty, while enjoying chocolate. Now it was a forgotten room, whose purpose never fulfilled, and thus had stuff scattered around. I am sure, everyone can relate to that feeling, of getting stuff for an imagined room that never quite materializes and thus the room becomes storage, more than anything. Kondo deliver us! After, I came to the cashier, I ordered a hot chocolate. Conrad made a point, that the hot chocolate I ordered was not the European sipping hot chocolate that I had talked about on our car ride there. He then. made a point, that I should read a menu and then ask questions. I ask questions, as I read the menu. I eventually, ordered two hot chocolates, (one for him and one for me) and then we sampled 12 chocolate squares--- a sampler. The total was close to 60.00 dollars so this is an experience that is not going to the local mart and buying a Hershey's bar. The 12 chocolate samples were just great and enough, there were bigger samples, which I considered buying, but the price deterred me. The one that I got was super appropriate for both of us, by the end I was enjoying slightly by force, I mustered the strength to finish the half marathon. The full marathon would have tapped me out. The samples came with a card. Conrad was the one who was consulting the card, so we could not what chocolate we ate. It was truly fun, to be with someone who read of the information of the card, and then we tried to identify the taste as the card described. I wish I would have taken a picture of the card, but honestly, I am more of a determine by taste taster than a person who wants to be informed of what he is tasting, to know what he is tasting. I do remember the worst tasting chocolate we tasted--- it had black tea infused into it, I do not remember its cacao percentage, each chocolate had a cacao percentage. The hire the percentage, the sweeter the chocolate. The black tea had this earthy and tea taste that was profound. I guess imagine tasting. a black tea without sugar that is kind of the taste I struggled with. I am glad I tasted this chocolate, however, because it was part of the whole experience. I did not drive to the beach and endure a pothole, I drove to the beach and was both intrigued and jolted by the bounce that the pothole produced. Some chocolates I really enjoyed, the hot chocolate was goodness in a cup. The chocolate sampler also came with an espresso that was split into two cups. I was provided a knife to cut each chocolate. I put the knife in the center with one arm, and use the other hand to pierce the chocolate. My halfs were not perfect. Sometimes Conrad got the bigger half square, sometimes I did. I annotate all this so one knows that when you visit ChocoVivo you will need to work, if you want to split those chocolates, but the work was part of the fun!

Lots of ice cream flavors! However, not very good customer service…read more I was really excited to try this place since it's always popping when I drive past it, however I think it needs better management. At least when I visited, all of the employees were very young and it seemed like they didn't really want to be there. I noticed it because they were getting distracted and it was taking them a long time to get to each order. When our turn came, the employee who assisted us turned around and made a face because we asked for samples. This location definitely needs a responsible adult manager to supervise these younger employees. Perhaps with a better management system and structure, service will be faster and friendlier. Again, there's plenty to choose from when it comes to ice cream flavors. The ice cream is very sweet, so a small size will do. There's plenty of parking on the side, which is convenient.
