I said fine I had already purchased a replacement ceiling fan and I paid him $300 for the additional item that he said was electrician they the brand new ceiling fan out of the box and proceeded to try to install the ceiling fan. I don't know specifically what he did, but I want him remove the ceiling fan brand new out of the box on and meant the ceiling fan as he was installing it and the ceiling fan didn't work. I was watching him the entire process, but he around and says oh the ceiling fan must be defective. It must've been bent The ceiling fan wasn't banned. I watched him take the brand new ceiling fan out of the box and subsequently bent it when he was trying to install it then he says well you have the packing ceiling fan came in. You can return it to the store and get a replacement. The problem is that I now have a broken ceiling fan installed in my ceiling so how am I supposed to remove the broken ceiling fan? I'm not electrician. I subsequently called American home shield and JCJ did not respond. I would anyone to use this company incompetent if not corrupt and the only reason why I even utilize them was because they were the assigned contractor with American home shield

PECO said we almost had a fire (they detected the heat from the device). When the previous electrician didn't respond, we got Joe's number from a friend. Joe called me back after hours in minutes, came out within an hour of our conversation AFTER hours, assessed the situation, gave us a workaround so we could at least have AC in the 95 degree heat and was back out in 36 hours to do the job. AMAZING! Competent, personable and affordable. Service the way its supposed to be, thanks Joe and son!

Full…read moredisclosure, I only spoke to Greg on the phone for a consultation because our schedule did not align and I needed someone to come out urgently. A few weeks ago, I noticed a burning smell in my basement and followed it to the electrical closet. I spoke to Greg on the phone about the issue and he was very professional and honest of what he could and could not do about the elusive issue. Most importantly, he did not use any scare tactics. Unfortunately, he had a client that day so my husband found another company to come to diagnose the issue. After opening and thoroughly examining the electrical box, the person could not find the problem and recommended an escalation to perform a full diagnosis, which would be nearly $500. I called Greg and he talked to me out of my panic. He also recommended a solution to test for the source myself. Later that day, my husband and I took Greg's advice and we were able to narrow it down to our home security system. Having an electrical issue is always scary, but I am grateful to find someone like Greg who is honest, and actually goes out of his way to educate his customers.

Everyone is terrific, however we requested Shawn as he has been to us on 3 occasions to do work and check everything. He is beyond thorough as that is the Raynor way!! The photos of the service he performed is invaluable, and he explains everything in detail. He makes his recommendations and shows you why and outlines in detail the itemized list and cost. He is exceptional as is the company. 10+ Bernadette L in Maple Shade, NJ

Horrible and we gave the every opportunity to do the right thing before posting a negative review…read moreor legal recourse! On July 1st, 2026 when the temperature was close to 100 degrees outside, we experienced a breakdown of our AC. Obviously with the temperature where it was, we were in a pressing situation. We looked up local contractors, chose Raynor because they were able to come out the following day, July 2. The tech showed up on time and told us it looked like a $400 job to fix. Once he started, he came in and told us he needed his electrical crew to come and fix something with the breaker. After they showed up 1 1/2 hours later, the price jumped to $1849.00. Since we were already being charged for them just to show up along with the fact that it was close to 100 degrees, we were in no position to get other estimates and wait. Their evaluation and payment price is on attached invoice. We trusted their advice and had the repairs done. Fast forward to Aug 10, 2026. The $99 extra maintenance extra charge we paid which was suggested to us from last invoice was due. The tech (Josh) came out and started with the furnace. Within 15 minutes he found a crack in the heater exchange. I told him that we just spent near $2000 last month with them to just get the air conditioning working. He was in shock of how much we paid despite working for the same company. He then felt bad for us and wanted his boss (John) to get involved to reduce or do something for us for this furnace repair/replacement. His boss came out and did a whole sales pitch (2.5 hours) on why we should use them. Then he looked at the invoice from the A/C repair and said there was definitely a mistake in the pricing. He said the "unit cleaning" of $600 should not have been charged. If you look at the unit, you can see it definitely was NOT cleaned. He said he would deduct $600 from cost of furnace replacement. So, again.....(I don't know why) trusted him and signed up for a 1 year interest free loan through GreenSky that they use. He told me the crew would be at our residence around 9AM the next day August 11. My husband works and had to reschedule meetings so he could be home. I had to reschedule doctor's appointment. So the next day August 11.....10:00 AM....nobody shows up. I called your office and a very friendly women apologized and told me the part was not even in. She had John call me back and he actually lied saying that he told me that he would call when the part came in. My husband was here when he told us the crew would be here tomorrow Aug 11 so I know what we were told. I did not appreciate him saying I misunderstood him. In that same morning I received an emai and text from the finance company asking for full payment of $8260 that day because Raynor had told them the job was completed (email attached). First of all, the finance was 12 mos, no interest and would not start until job completed. So I have John's boss Tommy call and said that was a mistake and offered me free maintenance which we already paid for. I said no thank you and he said "Let me make this right, just give me a few minutes, I'll get back to you. Never heard back from him. At 8:15PM, same day, I get a text from John saying that his crew will be at our residence the next morning like nothing ever happened. Between being lied to, having finance company requesting payment for no job and hours of wasted time and quite frankly total Bull***t, we lost all trust in Raynor the company and decided to take our business elsewhere. We had another local company come in for a "free" estimate. We showed them the A/C unit invoice and they told us that we way over paid. He looked at the unit and confirmed it was never cleaned (which Raynor charged us $600 for). He looked at the circuit breaker which was on the invoice as replaced for $400 and told us there was no new breaker installed (picture attached). They told us the price for the same exact job done by Raynor, they would have charged $800-$900 tops. We are an older couple and we definitely feel that we were a victim of overcharging. We will be putting this review on ALL social media websites. We would like to give you the opportunity first to refund us for all the overpriced items or discuss. Please respond to this email before we submit reviews. We also have hired an attorney in case we need to pursue further. Richard and Donna Eisenstodt
