MOST UNPROFESSIONAL my dr now location. Avoid this location at ALL cost. Came to this location after an auto accident and was toyed around multiple times. Needed physical therapy for injuries sustained but Sarah Lopez would only extend my note a week at a time and waited hours to see her EVEN with an appointment. She treated my case like workers comp and it was only short term disability- hence the auto accident. The last time 7/8, After 3 hours I left and went back with my PT's notes (because she wouldn't see me until they had them and "never got them") stating I would be out for 8 weeks for my injuries, and waited an additional hour for her to have the receptionist to tell me that "she didn't see that outlined in the docs" even though I showed the MA where it stated that. Because of that she was sending me back to work with stipulations of workers comp. The medical assistant & her were forcing me to sign the WORKERS COMP paper otherwise I wasn't getting anything. Most unprofessional unorganized place EVER. Lost referrals, kept giving incorrect information. Don't even get me started on the receptionist (Anita or something like that) that laughed in my face along with the medical assistant cece when I wouldn't sign it and got frustrated that they were sending me back to work when I'm a flight attendant and can't even lift my arm - how am I gonna save a life in an emergency? Anyways, went to my dr now in Mesa and saw a real dr. He advised me they left out the last two pages of the PTs notes in the system... the pages that outlined our plan and her notes to be out of work. Coincidence, I think not. Also 2 visits weren't in the system even though I have the dr notes and visit notes (thank goodness I got them each time) but oh I was charged my co-pay to my insurance each time even though I paid each time Thank goodness for the my dr now off Dobson! It was my first time at My Dr. Now. I was acknowledged immediately and 5 minutes later I was in an exam room (that's a first for me.) I was pleasantly surprised when Dr. Nicole came in with a smile and a great disposition. She listened and connected with my concerns as if I were a friend, verses a paycheck. Please stay away ! Wife went in with slight chest pain, probably from sleeping on her arm. They misdiagnosed a simple EKG readout and sent her up to the Main Hospital Emergency. $10,000 dollars later there was no problem what-so-ever. Firstly, this place is dirty and disgusting. Aside from that, the doctors are complete imbeciles. I waited about 45 min to be seen (apparently they accept walk ins and some of them were seen before me even though I had an appointment). Then the doctor (who didn't even introduce herself, I thought she was a nurse) saw me for about 2 minutes then left. Later I was told to pay and sign out. I didn't even realize I had been seen! Once I realized what happened I asked to see the dr again as I didn't even get to speak with her, waited again for another 30 minutes before I decided to leave. What a waste of my time and money!! This place was listed through my insurance as a provider. I called for an appointment and they were able to get me right in. This was just a wellness exam but being a new patient I would have thought some discussion would have occurred about past medical conditions, family history, concerns. Nope listened to my heart, lungs and poked on my stomach and told me what labs he could order for my yearly exam. Less than 5 minutes was spent on my eval. I have been a nurse for 16 years and have never seen anything of the sort. I'll get my lab results and be taking them elsewhere if there is something wrong. This is by far the worse clinic you can find. Slow staff, dirty and very unorganized. Not to mention how rude and unprofessional they are. Even when you have an appointment you can count on waiting an extra hour to be called to the back and then they stick you in a cold room for another half an hour with closed doors. Went to this doctor of course the nurse practitioner was only available. I walked out to go to the bathroom and she was busy gossiping saying I was just trying to get more meds because I stated I was depressed and needed an increase in my anti depressants. First, the staff was awesome, and I have been going to My Dr Now for almost a year. When I called for an appointment I was told my primary care physician was no longer there so i made an appointment with a different provider. I needed a refill on prescriptions I have been on for over 3 yrs. They are pain medications, and I know that can be concerning, but I also know that Dr M. Jones could have looked me up on the pharmacy board and seem I wasn't Dr shopping and I wasn't asking for my prescriptions early. If My Dr Now advertises as family practice they should behave like one. Dr Jones didn't bother to ask why I take those medications, examine me, or ask any history. I felt horrible when i left, like I had done something wrong. He was very short and pointed out My Dr Now policy on chronic pain. He should know as a Doctor that withdrawing from narcotics is very unpleasant, and having chronic pain is hard enough without being labeled a drug seeker. Again the staff was great, and all my other experiences there have been good. read more

It is such a shame that this office cannot get control of their call center. I have seen Jane Stevenson PA twice now, and she is by far my favorite health care provider. She cares and takes time to listen to your needs. They truly do not deserve someone as qualified as Jane. I have been waiting for TWO weeks for a referral to an ENT. Jane entered in the referral as urgent- since I am having trouble hearing out of both my ears. I have spent well over 25 hours on hold in the last week. Yes, you heard that correctly! My Dr. Now only has a call center and last week the wait time was 8 hours! I have gone into the office 4 times trying to get my referral. Every time I get told "I'm so sorry that we have not been able to get you your referral" then it's followed by a million other excuses. Anything from our computer system is down/our referral department is backed up/you need to change your primary care physician through your insurance etc. etc. etc. Every time I speak with someone I am assured that my care is important and that I will be called FIRST thing in the morning with my referral. Managers, case managers, referral managers, all PROMISE to call and they never do. It's been 2 weeks now and I still cannot hear, my ears are killing me and I am at the same place I was 2 weeks ago. (I do not have an ear infection, that has already been ruled out. That is why I need to go to a specialist). I will NEVER trust this office again with my care- it's a total joke to make someone wait like this! To top it off, I was promised a call first thing this morning. As I type this, I still have not heard back and I have 36 callers ahead of me and I've already been on hold 30 minutes. read more

When I went to this "group" the first time, I was very happy and would have recommended them and did. Now I wouldn't take my dog there. I had a good PCP there but she has either left or is on family leave, I was told both so not sure where she went. Then I saw someone to get some re-fills and for a new issue. Not sure what her name was or what she is? PA or NP, who knows because she surely didn't introduce herself or identify her skill level. When she walked in the room she stood about eight feet from me to speak to me and then when she had me on the table she asked me some odd questions. I learned over a year ago to get paper scripts from them because the electronic scripts never work with my pharmacy, so I got several and went to my pharmacist. The cough syrup she gave me was not covered by my insurance plan and the Gilbert My Dr. Now could have cared less. I went there and they gave me another script. I left and almost to the pharmacy I noticed they hadn't embossed the scripts so they would not fill them, so had to go back for a third time just to get something for my cough. I was treated like it was no big deal that I had to return three times and that I was over reacting to this inconvenience. I liked the ease of being able to see the same person in what is considered "off" times but they aren't worth the aggravation, the total incompetence and seriously unprofessional behavior. I'd rather take the hit at work (having to go during work hours) than to put up with this company. oh and I did try to tell the office manager and the main Dr. Zamani before posting on here, but neither returned my phone call. OK I get. This IS a walk in clinic... My past medical history was with 'a walk in clinic'. For 12 years. I developed great loving relationships with my previous care providers and had the best of care because they knew me and really cared. I've only gone to this clinic three times and have had wonderful care each time. Their follow up with pharmacies is unparalleled. I feel the direction of my healthcare is stemming from a coordinated, shared exchange of information and discussion between the two of us. I think this approach allows me to be much more vested in the responsibility of carrying out the plan; and for Christina to have a better understanding of my needs. She is a great example of what I consider should be the goal of every exceptional medical practitioner. While I have had some issues with wait times and follow up on referrals or information; I have always found all the staff very caring, pleasant, and helpful- from the front desk check-in, to the medical techs, to the doctors or medical practitioner. only reason i came to the place was because urgent care really thought i needed a followup visit with a physician in a matter of a few days. since i don't have one as i stay relatively healthy, and getting into see 1 short notice was impossible, i came here. the exam part was fine. i'd say the waiting area isn't anything fancy, but in reality the best i can muster is that it isn't sketchy like a back alley clinic. the receptionist seemed more intent on taking personal calls and texts. but the real kicker. they don't tell you they don't mail out bills. they email. okay, well i prefer not to transmit that way so i call and pay over the phone. and that was a small task to find the right person who could do that. anyway, that's done and settled yet i continue to receive a bill every other month. i call. they find my info. verbally confirm. say they'll email me confirmation. don't. and the cycle continues. do not go to any of these joints as i'm sure they're probably all connected. read more

I rarely go to the doctor, so I am not looking for a spectacular experience. I do have some basic expectations though. On the positive side, I was able to get an appointment fairly quickly. Having worked for a doctor in the past, I knew to ask for early morning appointment before they get too far behind. I was given an appointment the following day within an hour of the time I wanted. The visit still ended up taking 2 hours (3 minutes of which were with the doctor). The woman running the front desk was friendly, as was the gentleman taking vitals/medical history. I was there for two very specific, maintenance reasons. They took me back into a room that had not been reset from the previous patient. Tile was coming up on the floor. The doctor never smiled and spoke to me in scolding tone of voice. She ordered multiple other procedures without determining whether or not there was actually a problem (which she would be able to tell by the blood labs I was requesting). Another woman came in to draw my blood. If I could attach pictures at this point, I would. Not one time in my life has anyone had a problem drawing blood from my arm. I don't know if the vein burst or what, but there is a giant, black bruise in the crease of my arm. There was considerable blood, and I had to apply two more Band-Aids when I got home. As I left, the doctor asked me to make a follow-up appointment for something that I had not asked to be checked, or have any intention of a non-specialist checking...complete with additional disapproving looks. I have not gotten my bill yet, but I am braced for the worst. Update: I did not receive a phone call that my lab results were in for three weeks. I also received a statement from my insurance that the doctor sent my blood to a lab that was out-of-network (though the doctor is listed as in-network by my insurance and the office women assured me that my plan was accepted as in-network), and that the doctor could bill me for the $696.00 balance. I now have to fight both the insurance and the office until they reach some sort of agreement. For routine blood work. read more

Nicole Fallacaro is so wonderful, and kind! every time I'm scared or nervous about my health concerns she makes me feel like everything will be okay. she makes me feel confident and safe knowing that she will do all she can to help me! I feel like she genuinely cares about her patients! she listens to you and makes you feel very important! She even makes you feel like a friend. I'm really happy every time I go for a visit! I also love that they take walk ins, and they are open super late for those of us who work long hours during the week! And they are open on Saturdays which I love! SHOULD BE "MY DOCTOR NEVER"!!! Do not waste your time here. I am new in town and needed a refill on my meds. Was told I had to come in for appointment first, which was fair. Not only did I wait 45 minutes before this idiot doctor came into my room, he had been sitting outside my room DOING NOTHING the whole time. Then he tells me im taking the wrong dosage and only gives me half the meds..when I call in a refill, they ignore the pharmacys requests for three days. I call the clinic and am told the only way to get a refill is to make an appointment or go online for the doctors approval, which im then told there in no guarantee of approval. Cannot believe they would not respond to the clinic or at least give me the courtesy of a phone call. Yelp really needs to add a zero star option because if this place. read more

I was hesitant to visit this office because of all the negative reviews, but I needed a Dr. office that could get me in quickly. When I called to make the appointment the gentleman on the other end was very courteous and accommodating to my appointment needs and I was able to get the time and date that I needed. I went in for my appointment a few days later and was greeted and given the intake forms to fill out. I wasn't brought back to a room until 20 minutes after my appointment which was a little disappointing since I arrived 15 minutes early to make sure I had time to fill out the forms. But honestly, I've had to wait much longer for Dr. I was a regular at. After I was taken back, the nurse (I can't remember her name, but she was wonderful) went through some routine questions and took me back to the room. The PA that saw me was Natalie Tejada and she was very attentive and took the time to hear my list of concerns and address each of them. After my visit with her I needed to have my blood drawn so the phlebotomist came right in and did it! It was beyond great to not have to go somewhere else to get labs done. Everyone I came in to contact with was very friendly and personable. I had pleasant conversations with all of them. There is a lot of negative feedback from other people, so I don't know if i lucked out or what, but I had a really great experience here. read more

The front desk was courteous & helpful but that's where my good experience ended. Today, 3/19/19, we have exited from MyDrNow as my son's PCP. My son has been with MyDRNow as his PCP under Housecall Plan since we moved from California to Maricopa AZ in 2017. I would have changed his provider in a heartbeat if only there are other providers servicing Maricopa. He has a procedure that needs to be done by the provider every 90 days and each time I have to make an appointment and played their game of catch me if you can. If I asked for the manager, they will not call back until I make several calls and call back was done several days after. I had to make many calls for re-fills, majority of the time they will confirm having sent them to the pharmacy, however, when I checked, the pharmacy refill authorization was never received. The last straw that broke the camel's back is my son's current NP advised us that she will no longer be on the road to do visits and to ask MyDrNow for a replacement. I have emailed Casey Simon, the director of operations on Jan 15, 2019 to arrange for the replacement NP. Got a reply from him advising me that he will be meeting with the prospective Provider and will let me know 2 days after. Since I never heard from him again, I followed up after a month and still never got a response. I call MyDRNow and spoke to Danielle who advise me that Casey no longer work there. There is no reason why I did not get any reply despite Casey's leaving the company, I copied Dr. Payama Zamani, Anita Ricci and Camille Mccarley. Anyone of them could have responded. For anyone contemplating to commission MyDrNow as their house call provider, just be ready to get frustrated, nervous and have a lot of patience. And for you Anita Ricci who answers reviews, shame on you. read more

This place is AWFUL don't waste your time. They cattle call you in and out. The technology portion is nice but NO ONE on the staff is nice except a blonde girl with glass who is an MA. The reception desk has no friendly personality and the entire staff MA is RUDE. They ask you the same questions every time you come in like they aren't a medical facility who documents your parents health each time and if you by chance tough your cell phone during this process you'll get a VERY rude girl come over and tap their sign with her fake nail saying "just so you know we have a no cell policy" and walks away, like she couldn't have just asked nicely. Then I was asked to switch Nurse Practitioners after I was in my room to a guy saying we had to switch, and when I mentioned I did not make an appointment with him he said okay walked out and I waited a VERY long time to see who my appointment was actually with. I was really hoping for more from this place because of their hours and availability, now I see why you can make an appointment same day no problem, no one wants to come here and who would trust them with your health at this point. I had lab work done and called asking for the NURSE to call me back and discuss my results twice and never recieved a call back. I don't know what's worse, the attitudes or lack of caring about you and your health. Unless you want your one free physical per year here don't come here. And make sure when you get your physical don't talk about anything else because they will code the visit differently and charge you. Lastly, as if it could get worse, getting blood there is the worst yet. I fastest all day to give blood and she couldn't find my being 3 times. Sent me to the lab the next day and the girl there who actually takes blood all day said she has no ideas what the problem was. I filled up my blood tubes and was out of the lab in 15 minutes no problem. This place is so unprofessional rude. I will give My Dr Now 0 stars unless I can go -10. I went in because it's the only place that would accept my insurance, which isn't the best because I'm waiting to go on medicare and I chose the least expensive policy. I needed refills on prescriptions, but we weren't sure I was on the right dosage, so the plan was to wait 8 weeks, do a blood test and see if the dosage was correct, and then proceed appropriately. Unfortunately, I went out of town and forgot my medicine. I called My Dr Now and BEGGED them to call the Walmart where I was and prescribe 4 pills - that's all I needed. The girl said she would check with the PA and get back to me. No one did. It was Friday so I went into the weekend with no medicine. Because I knew my blood test would be "off," I wanted to wait another 4 weeks so it would be accurate. Guess what! My Dr Now would not give me a prescription for another 4 weeks worth of pills. The girl at the desk said I had to come in and pay a $50 co-pay or go on their portal and pay $25 to get a 1-month refill. I chose the lesser of two evils and went through the portal. I waited another 4 weeks, had the blood test, found out (myself, because no one at My Dr Now had the courtesy to call me) that I was on the right dosage, called to get a refill, and was told, once again, that I had to come in and pay $50 to get a refill. It's their POLICY! I called several times and argued with them - each time the girl told me she would discuss the matter with the PA and get back to me. I never heard from them. To this day I have not heard from them. First of all, this "policy" is nothing but greed. The only medicines that cannot be prescribed for long periods without seeing the doctor are narcotics. My thyroid medicine is not a narcotic. Secondly, I have never encountered such blatant disregard for the well-being of a patient. Avoid this place like the plague. They are obviously trying to pull a fast one on their patients, making them come in 4 times a year for medicine. I found a real doctor two days ago and was given 90 pills with three refills. I was advised that this is standard procedure with a medicine that is not a narcotic. Don't let My Dr Now get by with this blatant greed. It's an insult to people's intelligence, like we can't see through this attempt to rip patients off!!! read more

We loved Dr. Nicole and her staff. There are new Doctors at this location so do not pay attention to the older reviews. Her staff is friendly and helpful. All our questions were answered and all tests run on the same visit. She took the time to answer all our questions. My daughter and I both had appointments with her and she never made us feel rushed to get to other patients. read more

If it is an urgent situation there are plenty of urgent care offices that would have better medical treatment. When I had my visit, I waited two hours to see my doctor. The MA tried to keep me informed which was nice... But her approximations of when I would be seen continued to be inaccurate. When the doctor saw me she apologized for the long wait and gave me what I went their for my medication refills (insurance changed so had to switch here as a first time patient)... Then more inconvenience started they tried to tell me I need to come in for Labs and my blood work results. I KNOW lab work can not be done over the phone, but cultures can. The only reason why the receptionist gave me the over the phone was because I stated this fact. Then my bc refill was denied by my insurance. Called the office let them know I need a prior Auth and that they need to call my insurance company... They didn't, sent a prior Auth. Told them again that they need to have specific reasoning why I can not take generic. THEN after 3 weeks of trying to get this handled... I'm told I need to come in for ANOTHER appointment for her to write I get nauseous... REALLY?! NO. ABSOLUTELY NO. I instead went through my old work and they got it processed immediately. In the past working in a doctors office, this is the absolute worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Avoid at all costs. read more
