And they rudely yelled at me and I told them off! And they told me not to come back anymore. I yelled at them in BOTH languages. I have complained to their bosses and I will go elsewhere for food! All staff truly love their job and it's clear to see Miss Mickey & Miss Jackie care for their students. The school director, Melissa, is also incredibly helpful, responsive, and kind. I think because all the parents need to be involved in a deeper way than other schools, your child gets the benefit of a whole community of people investing in them. I also appreciate the play-based learning approach. My child started out in the 3 year old class nervous and scared and to see her confidence grow and watch her create friendships have been a true joy. Thankfully, he was gone by the time I finished, which took less than an hour. I would suggest not making an appointment too late, but 6:45 PM was one of the only slots left for today (Monday). It is very cold inside, even though it's April, but I guess that's a good sign for the summer months. Although I do like donating at other places such as churches and schools, I wanted to see this donation center in person. It is nicely decorated, and whoever put everything together definitely put effort into the details. It looks so much more upgraded from the previous location. Richard M. walked me through the donation, and it was one of the best experiences I've had as a blood donor because he accompanied me the entire time. He was thorough, knowledgeable, skilled, and most importantly, personable. It was totally different from the last time where the employee wanted nothing to do with me and was just there to do her job, which I don't blame, but it's nice when you can connect with someone. Al started a new rewards program and have lots of information about it, and they have more brochures and flyers in the canteen area about the Red Cross in general. It is well-stocked, and there's even a sink and coffee, so you feel a bit more cozy and at home. I had a great first time, and it left such a positive impression on me that I hope to be back for my next donation. ^^

Tara's chance is an outstanding venue and service for children and young adults with disabilities…read more Our son gets riding therapy with Victoria, and he loves his horses he rides, named Sierra and Patrick. His riding therapist is so caring and intuitive about handling our son's special needs. Kevin is calmer and more confident since his horseback riding therapy at Tara's Chance. Thank you to all the caring staff there! They recently put on a yoga brunch for the mothers of their riders. It was such a great afternoon of self-care. I love their annual fundraiser too.

We volunteered at Foster Love by creating gift boxes for Foster children. The staff here were very…read morefriendly and gracious to us. They prepared the items that needed to made. We colored the boxes used to hold the picture frames and book markers that we decorated, as well as other toys. Also, we helped hand write Thank you cards for the social workers who does a wonderful job with the children. It's a rewarding feeling to help Foster children feel special with their care package we made.
