They completed a full scan and photographing of the property to provide the best quality report. The engineer was super knowledgeable and happy to explain any issues he noticed while working through the assessment. I then met with staff to discuss the report and answer any remaining questions. And all in 1 1/2 weeks from start to finish! Highly recommend them for any future projects!

Eye roll. What a clown show. Well here's the update that I promised, unfortunately it's not in the direction I was hoping. I got an immediate response to my review below, with multiple requests to remove the review. I stated that I was open to updating or removing it, if things improved, and we ended up having a couple positive meetings. So much so that we elected to continue to work with them on the next phase of the project. So over the weekend (Sept 12-13), they sent us the contract for the next phase. We signed it and sent over the requested payment. I was hopeful! I was mentally drafting a positive update to this review! On Monday I received acknowledgement of receipt of the signed contract. Immediately following that, I got an email that said, and I quote "Before we can resume, please remove the Yelp review so we can start fresh and have a positive experience moving forward as we help you with your project." Guys, my jaw DROPPED. (My husband sent me a simultaneous "WHAT THE F***" text lol) Let me reiterate, we had signed the contract, sent the payment, and THEN received an email saying they wouldn't begin the work until a brand new condition had been met. We were completely floored. But okay, I thought, benefit of the doubt, the guy that sent that email has the position of junior assistant on the website, maybe he doesn't realize that what he's doing - withholding work that has been paid for unless we meet a new requirement that we never agreed to - constitutes a word that rhymes with shmextortion. So I responded that this requirement is unethical, inappropriate, and possibly a breach of contract. I gave him every opportunity to walk it back, and then reached out directly to the firm owner to verify that this was in fact the position that Bitarchitects was taking. The only response I got is that we can terminate the agreement, so that's what we did. To their credit, they processed the refund relatively quickly. So yeah, I don't know. I can only speak to my experience, of course. The other positive reviews indicate that other people have had better experiences with them. But this all does make me wonder if other reviews have been manipulated in a similar manner. So caveat emptor I guess. Because I fully expect they will respond and try to spin this in some way that makes me look like I'm the unreasonable one, I'm attaching screenshots of the actual email exchange (just the initial exchange, because the junior assistant started texting me after that email and it went on for a while, until I went back to email to contact the owner). Redacting names and email addresses as a professional courtesy.

She blamed a lot on Covid but it wasn't Covid because she had the fabrics she needed for months before she even started the work. The hobbled Roman shades she made have come apart 2 times already. One of the shades was too big for the window when she tried to install it, so she had to cut off part of one side to make it fit. She cut it wrong so that now there is about a half inch gap between the shade and the casement window so light pours in during the day. The only items I actually like are the ones that Sherry had no part in making - the woven wood shades by Hunter Douglas and a couple of Venetian blinds - she only had to order and install them. By February 2022 she still had not even started the shades for my bedroom, so I paid her for the fabric that she had purchased months before and I hired someone else to do my bedroom windows, my patio door and to put the finishing touches on the windows that she had done to try to mask her shoddy work. Once she knows you're not happy with her work, she ignores your calls, emails and texts asking for repairs. I've had to pay the other company that finished the windows in my house to fix her work as it fails - and there have been multiple incidents now that have required fixing and they've only been hanging for 6 months. It was the worst $7000 I've ever spent in my life. You should think twice before hiring Sherry's company unless you are willing to wait 9-10 times longer than other companies. It took the other company I hired 4 weeks to order and receive the fabric and make all new draperies, shears and cellular shades for my bedroom windows, as well as make cornices and shears for all the other windows that it took Sherry 9-10 months just to make shades for. I rest my case!

When we first hired One Stop Kitchen and Bath for the job, they were responding quick, coming out for the estimates, and everything was smooth. They told us it would take 4 weeks, and we will have a completely brand new kitchen. As the job started, it seemed to be going smoothly, they seemed to be working very fast. However, it started to diminish by week two. They started canceling on days they were supposed to come. I noticed that the design was flawed and cabinets that were put in were not able to be opened while another cabinet was opened. The design needed be changed. The communication practically diminished, we were not getting timely responses from the people in charge. There were instances where they ordered the wrong things that were stated in the contract and agreed on, and they tried to charge us extra for change orders. Be VERY aware of the charge for "change orders", they were very expensive. I am convinced the workers broke items we had in the kitchen and it was stated that "the workers may be afraid to admit they broke it". During the job, a large hole was made in the wall through my garage, they covered the hole with spackle and hung my ladder back up as if it never happened. After I noticed this, I had them come back out and respackle the hole AND repaint it. I'm not sure they would have done that if I hadn't seen it and said something. All in all, the job is finally complete over a year later. The communication after the job starts, was poor, they may try to charge you extra for things that were their mistake. Just be extra aware and speak up if something is done wrong, is broken or missing and stick up for yourself. Double and triple check the design that is drawn out. Make sure everything will open and close as it should and you have room to walk around things. As I said in the beginning, the kitchen looks Fantastic and with a lot of extra effort figuring things out, they are going to fix the mistakes they made...in time. Nice staff and employees that came out, but would not use them again.

We did a total master bathroom remodel, scheduled a consultation and Shay Foreman came to our home…read moreand listened to what we wanted while providing critical suggestions and feedback and answering all our questions and concerns. She took measurements and our information and promised us a rendering of what out new bath would look like. We gave her creative liberty (because she is the expert) and she showed us a beautiful design proposal. Next came the selection of the materials we were to use, again, the patience Shay showed us is really appreciated since we are "novices" at this. She offered color suggestions, color compatibilities, texture differences and price ranges for the suggested materials. Not once was she "pushing" a certain product or style, although she would offer counter points to ensure we were looking at all possible angles. After looking at four other proposal/offers, we decided to go with Onestop because of the experience already and the price/value promised by Umut. Then came the in home measurements and design, this where Rommel and his team came in and verified what we wanted. We actually did a mid-construction adjustment because of Rommel's suggestion which we welcomed. This adjustment did cost me a dime. Again, very much appreciated. They said it would take up to six weeks to complete, but they were finished in three. The workers were very professional, laying down protective mats when they began and cleaning up after the day. They were also very proficient and letting me know what was going on. Umut came in and did the final inspections after Rommel ensured punch list items were completed. We are very pleased and happy with our new bathroom. The team of Shay, Rommel and Umut is to be envied by other renovation companies. Thank you so much!
