If you had taken time to truly review my complaint and looked into our case, you would've seen that 2) There was barely any real effort in making this right. We asked to speak to a manager/supervisor the day after the services were rendered. As of now, we still have not heard back from one despite being told we would've at the beginning of this week 3) Your "satisfaction guarantee" that was offered the same day as the services that were rendered was just a 10% discount on the next cleaning... I think we can all agree that means nothing. It wasn't until the next day that someone had offered to have someone come back to do further cleanings.... but at your company's availability. The date proposed to us did not work as we were in the midst of moving into our house and had to clean a good bit of the large portioned missed in Too Green's cleaning ourselves. Had you offered this right away on the first day, it may have changed the narrative. 4) A "vast majority" of the cleaning was NOT completed. Please stop saying it was. I find it mind boggling how you could tell me how much of the cleaning was done without so much as stepping foot into our house. We live here, we know how much of the cleaning we paid for was done... AT MOST it was 50%. I have attached a number of photos, but it doesn't mean that these photos alone is an exhaustive list of everything that was not fully cleaned. I would hope I didn't have to go around and photograph every nook and cranny and that your company would trust us after a few example photos. 5) No one is expecting anything to be restored to new condition. We just expect to have the things we paid for cleaned well. 6) The 10% discount was offered prior to the re-clean. It wasn't until a good bit of back and forth were we offered the re-clean. We have the text receipts if you want us to post it here Please do better. I understand that other folks might have had good experiences with their cleaners from Too Green, but it doesn't make our case any less valid.

When I say cancel and refund money if you cannot do on accepted date time slot then schedules work for Sat 11th 5.30 pm. As I type this review, the assigned cleaner hasn't even turned up or called in. It is now 5.40 pm. This kind of fraud businesses shouldn't even be allowed to operate on Yelp. Total cheat fraud business who doesn't have actual any employees, just runs some shady cleaning services based on random workers who may or may not show up. If I don't get my money back am for sure going to sue this business for malpractice. Update [03/13] : the assigned person arrived around 5.45 pm on 03/11 and tried to do as much possible till 9.15pm but clearly she was already exhausted from full day work and none of expected cleaning was done. She didn't have the right tools and equipment even. However she was very nice to say she would come back next day fresh at 10.30 am to do it properly. On 03/12 the lady did come back as promised and very much improved on the work and did significant cleaning up from the prior days under performance work. Am attaching pic to just illustrate the the state of things at the end of "official" day work to show how bad it was. Am re-scoring to 3 stars from a prior 1 star just because the cleaning lady was super nice to come back on a fresh mind and actually do the work a second day. But in true essence the company is very unethical in sending 1 person to do a 1700 sq ft cleaning after charging almost $400 for it. Even now I again have to go and do final touch up cleaning !!! Would advise all people looking for cleaning, if you are spending $400 make sure you will get atleast 2 people to come do the job otherwise it's a rip off. Just hire cheaper people off Craigslist for $150 a person. This company doesn't have any employees seems like they just sub contract to freelancers and keep 60-70% of the money for themselves. Unethical for consumers as well as those they subcontract it to. Still can't believe it they sent 1 person to clean 1700 sq ft place in 3 hrs for move out cleaning , appliances cleaning , bathroom water scum cleaning...makes no sense at all.

Rich in varied details of differing facets of their services, they reflected Jack's keen listening/reading sensitivities and laser responses. His precision is sniper accurate. I had been in crisis mode with my messy apartment for far too long and no time to clean it. I dreaded hiring anyone. After spending seven hours one recent Sunday cutting up cardboard boxes alone, I drew the line. I needed help. Hiring Best Maids was one of the best decisions of my life. Period. First, Jack the owner is true as water on a placid morning's pond. Whatever concern or variable or worry you throw his way in negotiations, they're reduced to brief ripples as he adjusts terms, massages in solutions and then returns to his essence like a mirrored pond returns to its placid clarity after a pebble shatters it briefly: he is as honest, centered and focused as an arrow. A jaw droppingly true fellow in a notorious hustler trade. Both our trades are. Not in thirty odd years have I had such a sterling experience negotiating. He even dispatched a third person on Day 1 - not to jack up the price but to ensure it got done in two days. So when I asked afterwards whether he needed to adjust the price out of fairness to him (being that we agreed on only two people), he demurred - he added the third person of a trio family to ensure the job got done. Not one red cent more. And now for Anthony, Vivian and their youthful daughter Emily. My heart ached for their present hard working profession but it soared as I spent time lending a hand where I could. Open hearted souls who put in buckets of sweat equity. I could deluge you with the many, many positive details of their work and results but for me the brief tears of Vivian just before leaving said it all. She - as did we all - realized something special happened here over these two grueling days: they changed this stranger's life for the better. Amongst the torrent of incredible observations: as the ending of each day approached, they all kicked it into a HIGHER GEAR - not to catch up but to drive home perfection. Pride in their work.They went beyond and voluntarily. Jack and I are honest - I wasn't comfortable with their doing more than we'd agreed to - except when Anthony figured out why I was routinely tumbling out of bed due to a cracked bed-frame. He found a quick way to remedy it and that gave me my first great night's sleep I have had in eons. Effervescent Emily, in her mid-Twenties, took a number of colored pottery pots and put various plants I had that were in plastic original containers into the new pots and even put a moon valley pilea in a terracotta pot shaped like a wood nymph's face that I had buried somewhere. Art in everyday life. Quite Gaga - she was a fan. Many examples revealed themselves after they left leaving artistic flourishes. And Vivian cleaned my bathroom with savage grace and persistent diligence! She was stunned. We all were ! Nonstop excellence. I'll never forget these two days of wonder in brutal February! The "deep clean" took place over two days, but totaled only about 8 hours. While the team was polite, several key areas were missed -- including dusty ceiling fans and other surfaces that should be standard at this level of service. I sent photos and was told the missed areas would be handled during the first maintenance visit. That visit was even more disappointing. Much of the home was left untouched, including the floors. I was told this was due to a "custom" plan -- yet there was no written contract, no scope outlined by email or document, and no communication confirming that entire areas of the house would be excluded. The only conversation was a brief call over a month prior. During the deep clean walkthrough, one of the team members even told me the floors would be part of the regular service, which added to the confusion. When I raised my concerns, the owner responded defensively and focused more on justifying their side than making things right. The tone shifted quickly once I pushed back, and I was left feeling unheard and undervalued as a client. Some things the owner might consider improving on: * Avoid shifting blame to the client when issues are raised -- especially after a $1,500 service. A missed spot is a missed spot, whether or not it was caught in a walkthrough. * Don't rely on a quick phone call as the sole definition of scope -- especially when no written agreement or clear follow-up is provided. Assumptions and verbal notes are not a client communication strategy. * Reach out proactively after a major service to check in. Leaving it to the client to initiate the first real feedback conversation creates a one-sided experience. And don't rely on staff rating requests to provide insight on client's service happiness, this is not indicative of the client's overall experience. Professionalism isn't just about what's cleaned -- it's about how a business listens, responds, and takes ownership. There's room for you to grow here.

I confirmed via text with Maria and booked a time and date about a month in advance. Closer to the date I reconfirmed with Maria to ensure I would still receive service. Maria and one other woman arrived at my place and cleaned for about 4.5 hours. The place was spotless and smelled amazing. Even the apartment manager was shocked and impressed at how amazing the place looked. I would hire Mary's again if I need any cleaning done in the area as they were attentive to detail, thorough and very professional!
