"Ros" saved the day and was a sweetheart to me. The shop is a tiny, blink-and-you-miss-it place off Broadway, but one that I hope survives the times. They explained clearly that I needed to bring them a card provided by the lock manufacturer in order to make a duplicate key. They told me the process, once said card was presented, would only take a minute, and that's how quick it really was. Additionally, the attendant told me the key would work perfectly since the copy is made to the manufacturer's specs and so it did. I feel they charged a fair price for the service rendered. As additional info. for potential clients: They charge a 3% fee for CC payments (But they tell you before they run your card... unlike some places where they just do it w/o your consent) and they are available for house calls.

I had 2 entry doors and storm doors replaced. I called the office, Richard called back within a few…read morehours, and I explained what I needed. We exchanged texts and emails and he was able to give me an estimate without actually coming over to the house (hello, covid). When I was ready to commit to the job, he came out to do the measurements, and after chatting a bit, he advised that what I thought I needed/wanted, I actually didn't, and gave me options that was much better on my wallet and still gave me the look I was going for. I was told it would take about 8 weeks before they can do the job, and exactly 8 weeks later, Richard called to set up the date/time for his guys to come over. Dave and Kenny showed up, did an amazing job. Efficient, timely, and cleaned up after the job was done. I was very impressed. If I should need other work done on the house, I will definitely be calling them again.

Simplex's customer service is simply outstanding! The owner of this multigenerational company,…read moreTony, is currently trying to figure out window treatments for unusual windows. It is not something he typically handles because of the window design, nor does anybody else for that matter, and yet he is going out on a limb for me. He has gone the extra mile so far wracking his brain, spending time researching potential options, conversing with various vendors, keeping me in the loop every step of the way...... for a job that may not even materialize. That speaks volumes! I would love to hire Simplex to do the job because I have never experienced such an outstanding work ethic. Hopefully Tony will come up with a solution that will accommodate the windows because this exceptional treatment is a rarity in today's workforce.
