Drunken Monkey with spinach: - I ordered the Drunken Monkey with vegan protein powder and spinach. I found my drink lacked a bit of flavour (they scoop the fruit into the cup before blending and a big chunk of fruit created a big air hole, which I think is the reason my drink lacked flavour) but I was really happy with the whole ingredients used and the added protein powder. This was also a pleasant surprise because I love crystal boba/agar pearls and actually prefer them to tapioca pearls. I loved my drink. The lychee flavour wasn't too pronounced, but it was still tasty and not overly sweet. The agar pearls were chewy and delicious and the quantity was good. I had a sip of my husband's milkshake and it was really tasty, super rich and creamy, and it was aesthetically pleasing as well. Service was easy-going, as I was a bit indecisive at first and then changed my order as the guy was punching it into the cash register (oops, sorry, hehe). He was super nice and if he was annoyed, he didn't show it at all. If I lived in Cornwall, I would be there all the time. Before they sold Presotea, they had self-service frozen yogurt, so it would appear that they like partnering with other businesses. I think this is cool because it makes their location different from others. I usually order from the Presotea menu and get the regular-sized Earl Grey Milk Tea Family ($5.99), "lite sugar" (which is 25-30% sugar) and "regular ice." This drink is Earl Grey tea with milk, tapioca, Mesona jelly (aka grass jelly or herbal jelly), and "pudding" (which was like a vanilla pudding-flavoured jello). I love lots of toppings in my bubble tea and this was the best bang for my buck. I love this drink in that the tea flavour is pronounced. It is also slightly rich and creamy. On my most recent visit, I tried the Four Seasons Milk Tea with Jelly Boba ($5.99 for a regular). Jelly Boba is a cross between tapioca pearls and jelly that's usually used in bubble tea. It's much chewier than both pearls and jelly, and I really liked it, but I can see how it may not be for everyone. For a while, these guys were the only bubble tea game in this mall, but Real Fruit Bubble Tea recently opened on the upper level (Freshly Squeezed/Presotea is on the main level). I personally like these guys better than Real Fruit Bubble Tea. They have more selection of flavours and types (like cheese foam, brown sugar series, etc) and I think their drinks taste better. However, the advantage that Real Fruit Bubble Tea has over Freshly Squeezed/Presotea is they have small sizes and you can get an original milk tea with tapioca there for less than $4. So I expressed interest in the Taro Milk Tea, but wanted to ask what kind of milk they used (like non-dairy creamer (yuck, not a fan of Coffee Mate-like products) or real cow's milk and if the latter, 2%, whole milk, or skim). The guy at the cash register didn't seem to know the answer to any of my questions and deferred them all to the guy making the drinks, lol. I was told that if I wanted a taro drink he recommended the Taro Frappe because the Taro Milk Tea is just powder and milk. The menu actually says "made with real taro" but hey if the dude making the drink is telling me they use powder, I'm figuring it's made with powder, lol. So I decided to pass on all taro drinks. I asked about the Hokkaido Milk Tea and was told they didn't have that. Ok then. The guy suggested I get a fruit tea. So I asked about the Wintermelon tea and I didn't quite catch what he said about it, but he then said he recommended the Hawaiian Green Tea because "it's really good." The Hawaiian Green Tea was listed as Mango, Peach and Passion Fruit and I don't like the passion fruit seeds that usually come with passion fruit teas, and told him that and he said no problem he could sub out the passion fruit with a different fruit like strawberry. I said sure and got the Hawaiian Green Tea with strawberry instead of passion fruit and with tapioca. It was $6.49. I got no sugar and less ice (which they call "cold." They call the default amount of ice "freezing" and no ice "lukewarm"). The drink was quite tasty, even though it didn't have any real fruit chunks in it that I could see. I read on the Skip the Dishes menu for the Kingston location that they use fruit jam. I'm happy to report that my drink wasn't too sweet. The tapioca were soft and chewy. Overall, I was pleased with my drink. Happy to have another bubble tea option in town. Paid street parking or paid parking lot/garage/parkade only.

I think there must have been like 2 eggs in there. I really liked the balsamic dressing. It was tangy yet smooth.
