We changed it out but the battery light kept flashing on and off we thought we need to drive the car so the battery can juice up the car. We drove from Provo to SLC for a graduation and on our way back at around 9000 S. the electrical started going out again and we pulled over at a Maverick. We were told after making a call to a shop that its probably the alternator considering the battery change didnt fix the issue. They also told us that they werent available to take it until the next week which wasnt an option for us because we had to get back for work. I went on Yelp and Best Buds Mobile service popped up with 5 star reviews so I called. The gentleman that answered was genuine as explained that we thought it was the alternator. He gave me a quote that was within what I was willing to pay. I asked him if he had a number to a tow place so I can get it towed to them. He said "its ok we come to you". I was surprised but then "duh" it says "mobile" in their name. He also told me it would probably be about and hour and a half for them to repair. WHAT! It really did seem too good to be true. The shop we had previously called quoted us double what these guys quoted. They literally showed up within 30 min they arrived at that Maverick parking lot and probably less than the time frame he told me it would take them to fix it we were on our way back to Provo and now we are home and our car is running perfectly! These guys are a gem! I Googled the cost to replace the alternator and they were within the range. So Im going to say they are honest. I wish they were in in Vegas. But now we know if there are any car repair needs for us when in Utah or our family we will be reffering Best Buds Mobile Services. They are extremely communicative, timely, honest, and their prices cannot be beaten. After getting my oil changed and alignment at another competing shop, I was told my cabin air filter, right CV axle, and battery, with 76% CCA remaining, needed to be replaced. I called four shops to get quotes for replacing the right CV axle. All of them came in within about 10-20% of each other, except Immaculate. I spoke with Bill at Immaculate, and he quickly provided an exact quote for the right CV axle, which came in at 60% lower than the quoted price from the other shops. He also advised me not to replace the battery, but to get it checked closer to winter. After shopping around, I called Bill back to get a quote using OEM parts, and he happily provided it. This all occurred on Friday, July 3rd, between 2:30 and 4:00 p.m. He also told me he could get my car scheduled for Tuesday. I thought it over the weekend and called Bill on Monday to schedule it for Wednesday. When I brought the car in, I asked them to check and quote several other items in addition to replacing the right CV axle, including two windshield wipers, two tires with mounting, balancing, and rotation, the engine air filter, cabin air filter, and a transmission drain and fill. I made several calls to Bill regarding different tire brands, tire warranties, and other options, and he happily helped every time. He always provided accurate quotes, and if he didn't have an answer, he would find out and call me back. Everything was completed the same day, and Bill brought the total price down to less than the cost of just replacing the CV axle at three other shops. I also had the chance to interact with KC, who happily answered my calls and questions when Bill wasn't available and even performed the tire rotation himself. As someone who grew up in the car business, I've never had a better experience with a service center than this. The combination of honesty, communication, service, pricing, and workmanship is outstanding. I would recommend Immaculate to anybody, including friends and family, without hesitation. I'm also posting this review six weeks later to say that not a single thing has been wrong with my vehicle. It drives like a dream. Top auto service! I have found my go to car mechanic…read more I had to have my alternator replaced in my 2013 Chevy Traverse. The shop I had been going to lately quoted me $1400! Said something about that to get to the alternator, they had to take out the cooling system. I got quotes from other shops using Yelps Project feature. Another shop wanted $970. Josh with Rolling Wrenches quoted me $547! Not only that, but he's mobile and would come to me so I wouldn't have to have the car towed to a shop. Well, that was a no brainer. We set the appointment for 9:00 a.m. and he was right on time. Josh showed me that he had to take out the coolant reservoir. That was all. So simple, anyone can take that out. Not sure how that equaled to $1400 worth at the other shop. The engine cover was removed, again, no biggie, and he took off the passenger front tire for better access. Swapped out the alternator, cleaned up the engine compartment a bit, put in an air freshener, and test drove the car. I'm so pleased. the car had been parked on the street for several months because I thought I had to have $1400 to fix it. We got our car back and I love it. Josh is a very pleasant, polite, and honest man. You will not go wrong with his services. Deserving of more than 5 stars. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. This auto shop is the auto shop everyone warns you about...the reason everyone's apprehensive about…read morehaving to take their car to a mechanic. They'll rip off with a smile on their face, like they're doing you and your car a big favor. TL;DR Steve's business revolves around attracting customers with inexpensive oil changes, then upselling products/services that not even your car's dealership recommends. Pay $30 more to have your oil changed literally anywhere else. About month ago, I wrote a review on Google (see last paragraph below) that said Steve's is good for an oil change, but to be warned that they'll try to upsell things you don't need. Fast forward to today, I arrived early for my scheduled oil change and the employee at the desk looked up my appointment, and then went to the office that's behind one-way glass like it's a police station. The one-way glass is a perfect metaphor to the shadiness of the shop. Trevor, presumably a manager, came out to speak to me and gave a schpiel about ensuring their customers safety and satisfaction is their top priority. I waited for him to finish. When he did, I asked what was happening, were they refusing to service my car? Yes, that's exactly what Trevor was doing except it wasn't outright refusal but extortion. He said they wouldn't change my car's oil unless I removed my review. Trevor went on another schpiel about how car dealerships don't recommended changing oil as often as Steve's does because Steve's cares more about properly maintaining the car for safety. You're reading this correctly (if you've made it this far), the mechanics at Steve's know your car better than the mechanics at your car's dealership, and Steve's recommends more products and services than even your car's dealership, and dealerships, as everyone knows, are notorious for upselling. Insane that Steve's attempts to outsell the kings of upselling. Best part was Trevor was addressing my review at the time, but my review made no mention of Steve's recommending an oil change too often (see the review below), which is telling because it means Steve's recommends more frequent oil changes than your car's manufacturer recommends. I'm insulted for two reasons. First, that Trevor thinks he can use the same snake-oil salesman talking points he would use on a grandmother. Second, for wasting my time. Original review: Recommend for an oil change but nothing else. Know that they attract customers with inexpensive oil changes in order to upsell just about everything. Multiple times they've recommended service my car didn't need. Most recent example was when I needed new brake pads, they insisted I needed new rotors as well because "you should always change them together" and "if you don't the brakes will squeak." I called a dealership to fact-check and they said that's not a thing, you're fine to replace just the pads without rotors. Sure enough, it's been months and brakes are just fine, no squeaks.

Apparently this is typical behavior though, for them. Our vehicle was brand new. After service, the vehicle developed issues that did not exist beforehand. It was also returned with scratches and damage that were not present when it was dropped off. What is most frustrating is that I specifically requested footage of the vehicle while it was in their possession, including footage of the work being performed. To date, that footage has not been provided. Instead, we have received explanations * that were CHAT GPT generated* that do not address the evidence and concerns we raised. When we took the car back, I have video footage of women coming out and taking pictures of the entire car after I asked for video footage to be preserved as a way for them to cover up their tracks. Since posting my original review, I have reviewed other customer experiences and noticed a concerning pattern. In our case, we have a recorded phone call in which a man acknowledged the damage and discussed repairing it. ( For clarity, the recorded call was not a hidden conversation. The company rep was standing outside speaking with my man while he was actively on the phone with me. My man called me to discuss when I would be able to pick up the vehicle. Rather than ending the call, I remained on the line and began recording. The man was fully aware that my significant other was engaged in a phone conversation and continued speaking about the vehicle and the damage while the call was ongoing. He full on, took responsibility And he said that he was going to fix the car. ) As a result, the statements made during that conversation were captured on the recording, including acknowledgments regarding the damage and discussions about repairing it.) We also have photographs, video footage, and witness statements regarding concerns we observed at the business. Additionally, I retained a private investigator to observe the business and document conditions independently. The issue for us is not just the damage itself. Mistakes happen. It is the refusal to take responsibility publicly after the fact while simultaneously failing to provide the footage that was requested. They fixed the scratch after getting grilled. That is the issue. according to other statements and reviews... they do alot worse then how they treated us. Our vehicle entered the shop without these issues and left with them. That is the simple reality of what occurred. I want to spread the word because unless you know what you're talking about, they will treat you very poorly. And try to cheat you out of things, they also, it will give back your car....Worse than when it went in. At this point, we are preserving all evidence and documentation related to this matter. If they choose to bite back with another lie.... i'll see you in court. Its my job. Im happy to bite back legally as I already am prepared and prepped. And i'm coming with videos and photographs and recorded conversations, customer reviews and other customer witness statements ( people that I don't even know) The evidence speaks for itself. They probably have a lot of people( their friends) who will back them up The bad reviews and what happened to these different people speaks much louder because it's a pattern of behavior. These people I didn't even know and they had similar.If not exact situations, just different car parts Anyone considering this business should carefully review all available customer feedback and make an informed decision for themselves. We stand by our experience and the evidence we have collected. We have documentation, recordings, witnesses, photographs, and video evidence supporting our concerns.
