Another benefit is the kids membership. My stepdaughter loves coming to the kids club for gymnastics, rock climbing, yoga, and more. I know that she is having fun while I'm doing a class. They have Parents Night Out on the weekends and that's such a nice perk! There's also day camps, which has saved us a few times when we needed child care during a school break. The pool is also wonderful in the summertime. The cafe food is average. I'd love it if the quality was amped up just a bit. The only thing I really ever get is the vegan PB& B shake. It's delicious! It has peanut butter, banana, cafe mocha greens, almond milk, and vegan protein powder. I haven't been to the salon yet, but it's great that this is an option. I have…read morebeen a member there for just about 9 months and unfortunately sustained an injury that prohibits me from working out, instead of simply giving a doctors note to the actual location and facility I use, Gold's Gym will give you the run around and make you go submit a form with their 3rd party payment provider called Peak Payment Solutions, meanwhile Peak's support takes "5-7 business days" to respond and will keep charging your account. I find it strange that the organization and physical location of the facility you use is unable to do a medical freeze but instead will route you to a 3rd party. I have a suspicion they want to make the process so arduous that the member just gives up and they can continue to collect unjust fees. The FTC just filed a lawsuit against LA Fitness for similar practices. I have logged a complaint with both the FTC and the NC DOJ for bad business practices. If anyone has experienced a similar situation with Gold's Gym, I urge you to do the same and hopefully you don't get injured!!

Currently I pay $60 per month and I believe it is well worth the price. Especially because I can go to any Y in the Triangle.

She has worked with me to correct some balance issues, incorrect techniques in exercises, provided good stretching and flexibility instruction (which I needed), all while keeping the sessions fun and focusing on my specific needs/situation.
