    Pepperoni flatbread
    Steve S.

This place is located across from B14 in the Dayton Airport. It's a typical airport restaurant. It was busy today and that equates to slow - and it was! We had beers and a pepperoni flatbread that looked like pizza and it was ok. It was typical of Dayton uninteresting pizza. The beer was Sam Adams and of course very good. It was served with the finest of plastic plates and flatware. Oh, and as typical in any airport the price was outrageous. $40 for 2 beers and a mediocre flatbread appetizer.

Ouch.. I don't give many reviews that are this bad. I kind of feel bad but at the same time they earned the stars with subpar service and food that was just not good. I asked the server (who was very nice! She got the 2 stars! Without her, it's 1 star!) for some of the more popular choices. She recommended the ham and cheese panini. I didn't like the sandwich, in fact I took two bites and decided to skip eating. So ya... Not a lot of choices in Dayton airport but there is a chick filet... go there instead, I'm telling ya, you won't regret.

No stars from me. Never will I go to this bar again. The lady working there was definitely RACIST to say the least. Went there for a drink because it was near our flight gate. BIG MISTAKE. My friend and I went in and sat down at the bar. Keep in mind that I'm South American (Bolivian) and my friend was black. So we sit and the waitress looks at us and then turns around and continues to do her thing. She serves a white man a beer no problem there .... (of course). After 5 mins of sitting there... she turns to us and ask "what do you want to order?" I asked "do you have a menu?" She replied "NO!" Ohhhh okay then .... how the hell am I suppose to order right ? I asked what do you have to drink... any liquor ? She says "NO LIQUOR, JUST BEER.. WHAT DO YOU WANT ?" And she turns around and puts away the bottle of vodka that was behind her. At that point I said "FORGET IT" and my friend and I walked out. She obviously saw him and I and I'm pretty sure she thought "ugh what does this Mexican and black want?!" (Even tho I'm not Mexican, far from it) I wanted to let her have it but I'm better than that and I was raised better and I have class. Something she obviously lacks. Now this happened on 7/14 at around 7:30 am. I later found out from another restaurant that they don't serve liquor until 11am in Ohio. The nice lady there explained to be in a very nice manner. See I wasn't aware of this and it made sense. However, the way the waitress at MVP treated us was completely UNACCEPTABLE! All she had to do was treat us fairly and let me know their rules in a nice way. It's her job and I'm sure she gets that all the time. People from other countries or even states aren't gonna know these things. I'll be visiting Ohio a lot more now, and I will make sure to never set foot in this bar again. Whoever runs this place should have a talk with that women. No surprised when I read all the bad reviews.

Loaded potato chips - the only food option after the kitchen closes
    Alan L.

The kitchen closed 90 minutes before the last scheduled flight. We arrived at the restaurant 60 minutes before our flight - hungry. The kitchen was closed and all that was available to eat was "loaded potato chips." Fortunately, it was a short flight to Newark Airport. The $18.99 charge for a weak bourbon and ginger ale cocktail was high.

Lime Infused Grilled Chicken with Brie Sandwich and Side Salad

As far as airport food goes, this is decent. It is the only place to sit down and eat in Terminal B. I had the lime-infused grilled chicken and brie sandwich, which was pretty good. For $10, I bet you can't get a better sandwich at this airport, unless you really love Quiznos. Overall, the airport food selection is subpar, but MVP is one of the better options for reasonably priced sit down food in an airport.

This place is definitely airport pricey. The service wasn't bad and it's a good place to unwind before a flight.

Turkey bacon cheddar on ciabatta w/chips. No complaints.

I enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwich with burger, tomatoes and bacon. My husband loved the potatoe wedges, which were enormous. The pizza was basic but not bad. Remember to ask for salt because the wedges are served without. They do not have a blender or margarita mix. I like Malibu coconut rum with pineapple and sprite. There are several stalls in the bathroom and plenty of mirrors to get cute. If you play Pokémon, there are gyms. There are pool tables in the back. You can't see the band from the pool area. Although the place is small and ostensibly shady, once on the inside you see it's actually rustically welcoming and quaint. It has a secluded feel that draws you in and is actually the opposite of what you believed it to be. With a full menu and beers on tap, this place is where a group can stay for a while and enjoy just relaxing. The food was tasty and quite cheap. We all had some version of a sandwich along with the teezers (their version of a cheesy jalapeño popper). All was delicious. The time we were there (a Thursday night), they held a music bingo night, which was cool but a little too loud to hold a comfortable conversation. Overall, this was an interesting and unexpected good time. It goes to show you that we shouldn't judge a restaurant by the gas station it's located next to . Try it out and enjoy.
