Food was subpar for what we have experienced. I got a wrap and there was hardly any chicken in it. The waitress we had acted like we were an inconvenience. We had to flag her down to get a refill, this was the only time we could get her attention after she initially brought us our drinks. Very poor service. Ambiance wasn't bad hence 2 stars instead of 1. But for a party of 2 and she never checked in on us after the food was delivered and we had to wave her down to get a refill and it wasn't even busy at 6:30 on a Friday. This location might as well just close up shop. The lights are on but no one's home. My crew with three kids stopped in last Sunday night around 8PM. First thing, we stand at the front counter for about five minutes while an employee in a referee t-shirt stood talking in some office right off the front desk, noticing us several times. Then she finally walks up and says "you can sit anywhere." After five minutes! And looking at us several times. The place was mostly empty. We finally sit, order our food. And wait for 50+ minutes. And proceed to watch a table across from us get seated, order, get their food, and close their check... BEFORE we get our food. At the 45 minute mark I ask for the manager. We have three kids for god's sake... that are starving. Darren the manager comes over and confirms we've been "waiting for 48 minutes" and says there was a large "to go" order and a group. The group wasn't that large and since when do "to go" orders get prioritized over dining room!? He then offers a few sodas to be refunded. I demanded 50% off. He goes away to never return or follow up. Our server later shares that he did 50% off on our check, so at least there's that. I can see why kids "eat for free"... they have to do something to get people in the door. This Fricker's has officially joined the long list of Miller Lane restaurants that are just horrendous now post-COVID. No wonder groceries are so high. Going to a restaurant sucks now. read more

A small sad plain bread roll, and a small sad piece of chicken. It's not that it tasted terrible, or made me sick, it was just so unappealing and blah. First time going to a Frickers. We don't have them in Columbus. We enjoy Roosters so much and that's really the only wing place we go to LOL. But we were in the area going to our nephews baseball game so we popped in to check it out. The place is your typical wing place/ sports bar. The server wasn't super attentive but we got what we needed. The wings were good. The sauces were good. I like that they had garlic parm. The boneless wings are pretty small. When you're used to Roosters giant wings, these were almost bite sized. The bar fries were ok. I prefer skinnier cut fries or tots but they were good. The seasoning was good. Had never been to a Fricker's before and it was close to hotel. Husband and I agreed it would be a good place to watch the game and sit at the bar. Have a beer and an appetizer, but that's about it. Given other reviews, I wasn't surprised by the slow service. For us, it was at a slow, but acceptable pace. Food was adequate, not amazing but not bad. It was cheap so that's good! This is about the one on Miller Lane. The waitress was awful. We had to wait a long time to for her to take our order and get our food. Then she brought out the food but it was not ours. My burger was burned and horrible and drowned with mustard and ketsup enough for 2 sandwiches. Then we had to wait forever for a bill then the waitress disappeared and we had to hunt her down because the bill she gave us was not our bill. It was the worst experience we had for awhile at a restaurant. I will not be back to this place. The people at the register were not the people that should be taking money. Not sure about that they asked if I was using cash and I handed them bills. I think they were all messed up or something but they needed some management in the kitchen and staff. Extremely disappointing. Wings were bad and barely had any sauce on them. The sauce itself was pretty horrid. I got the "hot" sauce but it lacked flavor and heat honestly. The service was also pretty bad, seemed like our server didn't care. Just an overall disappointment and I will not eat here again. Plenty of parking here. Entrance to the left as you approach the building. Lots of televisions. Great place to watch a game. Service from Hannah was good and the order of 20 original style wings was really too much for the two of us. Piping hot and stayed that way. Wife a little disappointed in the quality of the meat. Not the greatest Frickers experience I've ever had. Stopped in for lunch and had a very nice server as she was the only one in the whole restaurant. The two stars is strictly about the food and restaurant. Walking in everything looks okay but when you set down you quickly realize everything is sticky, floor, seats, table and menu. When it came to our food the chunks were okay but the rib tips were super dry and the French fries tasted as they were cooked in really old oil. The grilled chicken Caesar salad was very basic and not that good. I guess this location is in need of a makeover and don't think I would be back until that happens. read more

Choosing to dine out on chain-choked Miller Lane, PRIME TIME on a Saturday night, at a sports bar, within an hour of an OSU football game?!? CRAZY!! To decide to go to the one place on the "strip" that DOESN'T have a incredibly packed parking lot?? Even CRAZIER!!! Well, that's what we decided to do a few weekends ago (not MY idea!!), and sadly, the old "beware of the semi-empty parking lot on a popular night" rule was FULL in effect here... Sloooooooooooooow service, messed up orders, and just a general feeling that things were NOT "fricken awesome" at this particular Frickers. I think our poor server was new, and seemed to be COMPLETELY overwhelmed, BEFORE the game started, and even without a larger, more challenging/demanding game day crowd. Our drink and food orders were NOT complicated (there were only four of us, with pretty standard requests) but each of us had missing or switched items, long waits for refills, and then (my biggest pet-peeve) the check arrived before we were even halfway done ("no rush!!") Nope!!! Reading reviews of several newer and more long-term locations here on Miller Ln., this doesn't seem to be the only place that might be "slipping," both in quality and service. I'm not automatically anti-chains, and there ARE a few here and through out the region that do seem to keep things going well, but others, including this location's Frickers, EARNED their nearly empty parking lot by phoning in a really sub-par experience... read more

Two stars for the food, four stars if you have kids and are on a road trip. We stopped in after the kids were reaching their travel limit and they got to play some arcade games and ate for free. The kids seemed good with their hot dogs and applesauce (I tried it and it was fine). I got a wheat beer that was decent and inexpensive. My wife and I ordered different chicken items (a wrap and a quesedilla) and we both agreed they were terrible. I didn't care for the sauce or basic ingredients and knew after the first bite, confirmed with the second. Their sweet bourbon sauce tastes more like a sweet Thai sauce, in case you were curios. The staff was fine and the price was low: about $30 out the door for 5 people and a beer. I'd stop in again with the kids in a pinch, but I wouldn't order food for myself (probably beer and a dessert). I will tell you this: for middle Ohio, this must be standard fare as the place was packed within minutes of opening and people were taking leftovers with them. It's about what I expected. Just a regular Fricker's, nothing too special about the place. As you can see from the pictures the food was pretty mediocre. The hot kicker wings had NO sauce on them, and I was pretty surprised of the heat as well. I usually will get mild and that is pretty hot for me but the kicker sauce was more mild than the actually mild sauce. Maybe it was because there really wasn't any on it and what. The shrimp salad was pretty good, though when I think of a shrimp salad I didn't expect it to be fried and so tiny. The Ciderboy's peach cider was Amazing on tap though. Highly recommend that! I ordered battered wings, onion straws, and a pepsi zero. I got the wings breaded, which they refer to as their "original" style. They were soggy and sloppy. The breading sloughed off and no part of them was crispy. C'mon, guys. Buffalo's on the other side of Lake Erie. The onion staws had a ton of batter on them. They were those thick, soggy, doughy kind of onion rings, not onion staws. I'd guess their frier is set too cold. They definitely use way too much batter. The pepsi zero was diet pepsi, so I tossed it. Not their fault I'm super picky with soda. I only have one or two a year. Well below average food. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich, which she liked, But my Frickers BLT was one of the worst I have ever had. First, it came on a hoagie roll, which is just wrong. We were told this place was fun for kids, so we stopped in. Our kids just sat in the car for 3 hours, they needed to get the wiggles out. Once seated, our order was placed and the kids went to play the arcades. They were fine, priced at .50 cents each. Great. Our food came, gross. My husband ordered a chicken wrap and I the quesadilla. The chicken was unseasoned and hard as a rock. The tortilla also was crunchy and breaking upon pickup. It had a few shreds of cheese on it just to hold the chicken in place. It was terrible. My husband said the same for his wrap. The chicken was stale tasting, the sauce sucked and it was salty. My 3 year old turned her nose away from the chicken nuggets. A table came in after we ordered drinks, they ordered their drinks, got them and ordered their food while we were still waiting on our drinks.
