First time going to a Frickers. We don't have them in Columbus. We enjoy Roosters so much and that's really the only wing place we go to LOL. But we were in the area going to our nephews baseball game so we popped in to check it out. The place is your typical wing place/ sports bar. The server wasn't super attentive but we got what we needed. The wings were good. The sauces were good. I like that they had garlic parm. The boneless wings are pretty small. When you're used to Roosters giant wings, these were almost bite sized. The bar fries were ok. I prefer skinnier cut fries or tots but they were good. The seasoning was good. We would go back if we were in the area, but I'm not super disappointed that we don't have them in Columbus. We prefer Roosters 100% read more

I usually don't like to post bad reviews, but this place should be avoided. There was hardly any air conditioning, the building was hot and muggy. We walked in the door and the lady at the register was too busy with her phone to greet us. The server did a decent job but the food was meh. I'm not sure if it was just this location but it's on the list of places I'll only visit once. read more

We recently went here for dinner. Our fries were cold with no seasoning at all. My son ordered some little like cinnamon bread with icing on it. They were hard as a rock. He couldn't even get them off the plate. Our service was excellent. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful. The food terrible. They definitely need a new cook. read more

Do Not GO Frickers on miller lane !!! My family and I visited Fricker's on Miller Lane and ordered drinks and appetizers while waiting for our meals. While we were sitting at our table, I saw a mouse come out from around a corner and disappear into a small opening. Needless to say, I immediately lost my appetite and wanted to leave. As we waited for our server so we could cancel our food order, I noticed an employee (who seem to look like pest control) walk thorough from the front of the restaurant carrying mouse traps while customers were still dining. Seeing a mouse in the restaurant and then seeing traps being brought out in the middle of service was extremely concerning. read more

Recently came here and ordered carry out. The server was super nice she brought our drinks out pretty quickly! We ordered a few of the menu items including the 3lb chicken chunk tray. Lots of chicken for the price! Make sure you tell them to shake the chicken! The fries were fried well. The Buffalo chicken pizza was okay. It used to be a lot bigger. The onion straws are good too. read more

Food was subpar for what we have experienced. I got a wrap and there was hardly any chicken in it. The waitress we had acted like we were an inconvenience. We had to flag her down to get a refill, this was the only time we could get her attention after she initially brought us our drinks. Very poor service. Ambiance wasn't bad hence 2 stars instead of 1. But for a party of 2 and she never checked in on us after the food was delivered and we had to wave her down to get a refill and it wasn't even busy at 6:30 on a Friday. I definitely expected a little better. read more

This location might as well just close up shop. The lights are on but no one's home. My crew with three kids stopped in last Sunday night around 8PM. First thing, we stand at the front counter for about five minutes while an employee in a referee t-shirt stood talking in some office right off the front desk, noticing us several times. Then she finally walks up and says "you can sit anywhere." After five minutes! And looking at us several times. The place was mostly empty. We finally sit, order our food. And wait for 50+ minutes. And proceed to watch a table across from us get seated, order, get their food, and close their check... BEFORE we get our food. At the 45 minute mark I ask for the manager. We have three kids for god's sake... that are starving. Darren the manager comes over and confirms we've been "waiting for 48 minutes" and says there was a large "to go" order and a group. The group wasn't that large and since when do "to go" orders get prioritized over dining room!? He then offers a few sodas to be refunded. I demanded 50% off. He goes away to never return or follow up. Our server later shares that he did 50% off on our check, so at least there's that. I can see why kids "eat for free"... they have to do something to get people in the door. This Fricker's has officially joined the long list of Miller Lane restaurants that are just horrendous now post-COVID. No wonder groceries are so high. Going to a restaurant sucks now. read more

Some of the worst food I've ever had. I can't believe a local recommended this joint. We had a large group and ordered food to-go. I was pretty appalled when I opened my takeout box. A small sad plain bread roll, and a small sad piece of chicken. It's not that it tasted terrible, or made me sick, it was just so unappealing and blah. Also, I was still pretty hungry after I ate that sadness. Sadness isn't very filling, come to find out. We didn't trust the local after that. read more

We're not coming back there again the service was bad and it took like 2 hours to get out of there

We got the Bourbon Molasses wings which were good. Cooked well and weren't slimey which is always good. Really good Blue Cheese dressing. Waitress was a little slow. This was 8:00PM on Tuesday night and the place was dead. Not sure where everyone was but it awkwardly quiet. read more

Had never been to a Fricker's before and it was close to hotel. Husband and I agreed it would be a good place to watch the game and sit at the bar. Have a beer and an appetizer, but that's about it. Given other reviews, I wasn't surprised by the slow service. For us, it was at a slow, but acceptable pace. Food was adequate, not amazing but not bad. It was cheap so that's good! Ambiance is total bar, actually surprised they had a game area and the "kids eat free" thing. Just go with the right expectations and you'll be fine. It's a bar with food. read more

This is about the one on Miller Lane. The waitress was awful. We had to wait a long time to for her to take our order and get our food. Then she brought out the food but it was not ours. My burger was burned and horrible and drowned with mustard and ketsup enough for 2 sandwiches. Then we had to wait forever for a bill then the waitress disappeared and we had to hunt her down because the bill she gave us was not our bill. It was the worst experience we had for awhile at a restaurant. I will not be back to this place. The people at the register were not the people that should be taking money. Not sure about that they asked if I was using cash and I handed them bills. I think they were all messed up or something but they needed some management in the kitchen and staff. Not going there again. The place was so dark it was hard to read the menu. Not a place I want to eat at. read more

Sitting in here right now. What a joke. This place has the worst service ever. Just watched the bartender wipe her fucking nose and then fix someone's drink. Our waitress couldn't care less. read more

Plenty of parking here. Entrance to the left as you approach the building. Lots of televisions. Great place to watch a game. Service from Hannah was good and the order of 20 original style wings was really too much for the two of us. Piping hot and stayed that way. Wife a little disappointed in the quality of the meat. A bit dark and stringy but I found it fine. Classic wing joint. Recommended. Enjoy. read more

Extremely disappointing. Wings were bad and barely had any sauce on them. The sauce itself was pretty horrid. I got the "hot" sauce but it lacked flavor and heat honestly. The service was also pretty bad, seemed like our server didn't care. Just an overall disappointment and I will not eat here again. Beer was 48 ounces for just under 8 bucks though so maybe I should've had one of those to make the food less bad. read more

We love chicken at Fricker's but this location is awful. They clearly have a sewage issue near or in the women's bathroom that they refuse to fix. The smell is awful and very unappetizing just go a couple miles up the road to vandalia and eat your chicken in a place that doesn't smell like poop read more

Not the greatest Frickers experience I've ever had. Stopped in for lunch and had a very nice server as she was the only one in the whole restaurant. The two stars is strictly about the food and restaurant. Walking in everything looks okay but when you set down you quickly realize everything is sticky, floor, seats, table and menu. When it came to our food the chunks were okay but the rib tips were super dry and the French fries tasted as they were cooked in really old oil. The grilled chicken Caesar salad was very basic and not that good. I guess this location is in need of a makeover and don't think I would be back until that happens. read more

Choosing to dine out on chain-choked Miller Lane, PRIME TIME on a Saturday night, at a sports bar, within an hour of an OSU football game?!? CRAZY!! To decide to go to the one place on the "strip" that DOESN'T have a incredibly packed parking lot?? Even CRAZIER!!! Well, that's what we decided to do a few weekends ago (not MY idea!!), and sadly, the old "beware of the semi-empty parking lot on a popular night" rule was FULL in effect here... Sloooooooooooooow service, messed up orders, and just a general feeling that things were NOT "fricken awesome" at this particular Frickers. I think our poor server was new, and seemed to be COMPLETELY overwhelmed, BEFORE the game started, and even without a larger, more challenging/demanding game day crowd. Our drink and food orders were NOT complicated (there were only four of us, with pretty standard requests) but each of us had missing or switched items, long waits for refills, and then (my biggest pet-peeve) the check arrived before we were even halfway done ("no rush!!") Nope!!! Reading reviews of several newer and more long-term locations here on Miller Ln., this doesn't seem to be the only place that might be "slipping," both in quality and service. I'm not automatically anti-chains, and there ARE a few here and through out the region that do seem to keep things going well, but others, including this location's Frickers, EARNED their nearly empty parking lot by phoning in a really sub-par experience... read more

Two stars for the food, four stars if you have kids and are on a road trip. We stopped in after the kids were reaching their travel limit and they got to play some arcade games and ate for free. The kids seemed good with their hot dogs and applesauce (I tried it and it was fine). I got a wheat beer that was decent and inexpensive. My wife and I ordered different chicken items (a wrap and a quesedilla) and we both agreed they were terrible. I didn't care for the sauce or basic ingredients and knew after the first bite, confirmed with the second. Their sweet bourbon sauce tastes more like a sweet Thai sauce, in case you were curios. The staff was fine and the price was low: about $30 out the door for 5 people and a beer. I'd stop in again with the kids in a pinch, but I wouldn't order food for myself (probably beer and a dessert). I will tell you this: for middle Ohio, this must be standard fare as the place was packed within minutes of opening and people were taking leftovers with them. It's about what I expected. If you're in a car full of screaming kids and need a break for them to ove around, it's worth a stop. If you're out for anything else I would pass. read more

employees are helpful and kind, although, not much can be said about the state of the restaurant that is positive. it's dirty. every single time I have been here, it has been dirty. as for the food, it's mediocre. they got my order wrong. boneless wings are pretty small and dry. as for the sauces, they're delicious. I really enjoy their sauces, especially their bbq sauce. although, when you get tossed wings, there's hardly any sauce on them. you always have to order a sauce on the side, so keep this in mind if you go here. overall, 3 stars, because it's definitely not horrible, but I would rather eat somewhere else. read more

This miller lane has went to complete trash my son and I came in at 7:55pm and ordered drinks and our food didn't get our drink till 8:05pm the waiter with the Afro took our order then started clearing tables before she even put our drinks in. Then she barely spoke i had to say hi when she came to the table just staring at us like ( u know English ) ? I got the three for all, sandwiches were hard I had maybe a total of 25 fries that were rock hard and the chicken was just sad. My son got a kids chicken strips and I'm pretty sure they were from the bottom of the bag as small as they were. But I dunno what happened to this place I haven't been here in almost a year now we go to Kettering a frickers and this is exactly why. A joke. read more

Popped in after an 8 hour drive for some to go vittles. Bar was friendly enough. Get back to the hotel excited (I mean very excited) to tear into the food. Burger was woefully undercooked and one order of wings was not sauced. In the photo it looks like there is sauce in the box, but it was fry oil. Sauce in the bag and not on the wings. I honestly thought maybe it was in the bag as a side sauce, nope. So strange. I thought maybe I spilled some when I was transporting it but honestly, look at the bag. Left me wondering how I treat my to go orders!? Wife pushed me to call (I hate doing that) instead of tossing the burger and tolerating the wings (wings were pretty tough). Alex (?) answered the phone and was friendly enough. Told me they have no record of the order (after giving the order number off the slip). Said I must have the wrong location... twice... after confirming the location. Said I would need to bring the food back. Didn't want to waste my time, gas or risk waking those sleeping in the room. Glad I didn't pay cash; Had the bank do a charge back and called it a night. read more

Liked the 1985 throwback.. 3.95 wings .. good food ! I'm definitely going back for the parkmoore chicken that's my favorite only served on Sundays which is fine. Just a regular Fricker's, nothing too special about the place. As you can see from the pictures the food was pretty mediocre. The hot kicker wings had NO sauce on them, and I was pretty surprised of the heat as well. I usually will get mild and that is pretty hot for me but the kicker sauce was more mild than the actually mild sauce. Maybe it was because there really wasn't any on it and what. The shrimp salad was pretty good, though when I think of a shrimp salad I didn't expect it to be fried and so tiny. The Ciderboy's peach cider was Amazing on tap though. Highly recommend that! Service was good, price was okay. I will be back for the beer for sure. read more

I ordered battered wings, onion straws, and a pepsi zero. I got the wings breaded, which they refer to as their "original" style. They were soggy and sloppy. The breading sloughed off and no part of them was crispy. C'mon, guys. Buffalo's on the other side of Lake Erie. The onion staws had a ton of batter on them. They were those thick, soggy, doughy kind of onion rings, not onion staws. I'd guess their frier is set too cold. They definitely use way too much batter. The pepsi zero was diet pepsi, so I tossed it. Not their fault I'm super picky with soda. I only have one or two a year. Well below average food. After I'd tried the onion rings and bit into a wing, I regretted not getting fast food. Fast food is better and cheaper. Skip this place. read more

I'm usually OK with this place and stop in maybe once a year. Today I arrived at 1PM and the place reeked like they have been mopping with the same water for a year. It was absolutely gross! As I walked through the place some areas stunk worse than others. I did order beer from the tap and it was warmer than it should be. The wings had a bit of a funk to them. 4 hours later I feel like I have the flu!!! I think you gave me a bit of a food bug. Thanks! read more

The waders take too long to give us our food. Their chocolate milk is expired. The store is races.

Bought an order of of chicken wings all drums with a French fries. The wings were undercooked and I had to come all the way back to the restaurant to have them redone actually be present in the building before they would redo my order. They didn't offer anything more than an appetizer for my trouble of having to come all the way back to the cross town another five mile trip and have to wait another 15 to 20 minutes. This is ridiculous. read more

Stopped in here during a recent road trip, as a second choice. We should have went with our third choice. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich, which she liked, But my Frickers BLT was one of the worst I have ever had. First, it came on a hoagie roll, which is just wrong. Second, it was just a pile of bacon all curled together basically in a ball. It was almost impossible to eat, and just didn't taste very good. I've not had bad experiences with Frickers in the past, but I'll never order a BLT again. read more
