We had a casual dinner at Outback Steakhouse and were pleasantly surprised for a random Monday. I got the Sirloin Steak and Coconut Shrimp, and they were both so darn good. The medium-rare steak was cooked just right, super tender and flavorful, and the shrimp had this perfect crunch with a sweet and tangy marmalade sauce. The mac-n-cheese and steamed broccoli on the side were also on point My wife had the TooWoomba Grilled Salmon, and it was topped with these perfectly seasoned and sautéed shrimp, along with mushrooms in a rich, creamy Creole sauce. It came with rice and a wedge salad. The flavors in her dish were just incredible We left feeling super satisfied. We had excellent service today ( waiter was Nier) and food was fresh and cooked well, My husband said steak was tender; he had 8 oz steak and coconut shrimp meal; the shrimp were large. I tried the Alice spring's quesadilla with adjustment( no mushrooms, bacon, or honey mustard and asked for sour cream on side); very tasty; I was not expecting any seasoning but there was a Tex- mex seasoning which I enjoyed; slight kick but not not too much because I'm a spice wimp, and I was able to tolerate. Also, I tried a side of their chimichurri sauce; had garlic and other spices; worth trying; nice change-up. Finally, I bought take- home meals for 10$; these are a great bargain; can't eat at fast food for this price. I did not take pics of food at restaurant but I took pics of take- home meals. read more

I ordered thru doordash 2-10-26 @5pm ribeye, steak n shrimp fettuccine, house salad, blooming onion.... Well its not doordash's but it was packaged all wrong at the restaurant, the house salad was in the bottom of the bag then the fettuccine was on top of salad not closed then the ribeye dinner on that then the blooming onion on top of it all....well with the fettuccine being open it leaked out in bag soaking the bag and the salad, leaking on floor as I carried from front door to kitchen....and the blooming onion was cold and soggy, i would expect better care of packing after spending $107.....NOT HAPPY AT ALL read more

Having left Olive Garden minutes before (I reviewed that, too), we went about half a block up the street for Outback. We were seated almost immediately, and within five minutes, our top-notch server, Nair, had taken our full orders and delivered our drinks and bread. By the time we'd arrived, we were hangry. But Outback does not play. When our food arrived, we were thrilled! Super tender sirloin, crispy coconut shrimp, delicious fall-apart ribs, and wonderfully cooked, tasty salmon were exactly what we'd hoped for. I'm a particular fan of their Caesar salad, with fresh greens and a zippy, peppery dressing. My creamed corn was fabulous, too. The rest of our party enjoyed Outback's fries and baked potato, and Mom was impressed with the light steam on the "not mushy at all" broccoli. I'm so glad we didn't sit and wait any longer at the other place, because Outback hit the spot. Thanks again to our server and the kitchen (my steak was a perfect, tender medium). Needed to get something to eat and was not sure where to eat. Didn't want to drive around far and Outback was very close to where I was so I stopped in. The restaurant parking lot was quite full and upon entering there was a wait evident. Went to the bar and Chelsea the bartender was AMAZING! She made the evening so relaxing and comfortable even though she was busy with a full bar and server drink orders, she smiled and was attentive. We ended up laughing about different things as we chatted during the evening. Out back can be hit or miss but Chelsea made the experience one of the best ever if NOT THE BEST at any Outback. Will definitely return again next time I am in the area and stop in to eat IF Chelsea is working. Thanks for a great experience. read more

The cheesecake is almost always a half a half slice and they always forget her drawn butter. This time we ordered Chimichurri Filet. They forgot butter sauce and her CHIMICHURRI sauce! Stopped in last Friday for the lunch special. It was good and reasonable. We got nice lunch portions and the food was good. My steak was a little more pink then I like but still good. Do not go! We went to the Miller Lane Outback in Dayton, OH to celebrate a birthday. We were seated immediately (thank you call ahead) and our server had a birthday sash on and we all wished her a Happy Birthday and said X was also celebrating her birthday. The sever did not acknowledge or wish X a "happy birthday". She also did not say welcome, tell us her name....just "what would like to drink?". From there it was all down hill. The appetizer arrived well before drinks, two entrees came out early, a soup was delivered after an entree, a burger was missing 3 of 4 items requested, and the fries did not have the requested cheese and bacon. Recommend everyone avoid this restaurant and instead go anywhere else for better service, order accuracy, and a more enjoyable dinner. I will not go back! read more

I know it's not a high-end restaurant, but you'd think a steakhouse would employ cooks who know how to cook a steak. Three of our party ordered steaks, medium. Two were sirloins and one a filet. The food took a long time to come out, and when it did, the sirloins were well done. The filet was rare. We sent the filet back and it came back medium well. They cooked a new sirloin for one (the other opted not to have their steak remade) and it came out medium rare. The outsides of the steaks were charred, leading us to believe the cooking surface was too hot. It was a disappointing experience. The only positive was our server was very attentive and checked on us often, and the manager was apologetic about the condition of the meat and took one of the meals off our check. I had the filet mignon and asked for it medium rare. That's exactly how it was cooked. It was like butter, soft, juicy and delicious! An order of mushrooms accompanied the steak - nice touch!! A wedge salad and a baked potato was also ordered. The wedge had cherry tomatoes, bacon, sliced red onion and a blue cheese dressing along with a sweet balsamic dressing. It was great and I made it disappear as quickly as I could! Baked potato was a well baked potato. I ate all of it! honestly, this location is hit or miss. today, it was a total miss. the steak was phenomenally cooked, and there weren't any problems with that. as for our sides, atrocious. the mashed potatoes and the fries were old. it tasted like they had not only been microwaved, but had been sitting in the kitchen for about 4 days. disgusting. my fries were soggy, as to be expected with old fries. the only good side we had was a baked potato, which oddly seemed fresh. we ordered carry out, but everytime I'm inside, the waiters are very attentive and respectful. they do their job well. the restaurant is pretty clean, which I like. overall, 2 stars. read more

Went to the Dayton Mall Outback Steakhouse last night. I love their Bloody Mary's but they were out of mixer. Sad I ordered the End cut Prime Rib. Big mistake. Noy only was it not the end cut as promised but it was so dang tough i could barely eat more than 6 bites after hunting for the softest parts of it, the also forgot my aju for dipping. The best part of my dinner was the YUMMY bread you can always count on, the baked popotato was the star of my $30.00 dinner The service was great. But the meat really brought my score down. I sat at the bar and the bar tender (Chelsea) was very friendly and fast. My only complaint is that I ordered too much food and couldn't eat it all. Haha. I had the Filet with a side of coconut shrimp, mashed potatoes, and house salad. The salad came out with bread, their bread is so good, how do you resist. Then my meal comes out... I added mushrooms to my steak and to my surprise they came out in a big bowl rather than on top of my steak. Not a big deal, just not what I expected. The coconut shrimp weren't my favorite, there wasn't anything wrong with them just my personal preference that they flavor wasn't my favorite. The steak however was very good as were the mushrooms and mashed potatoes. I know that a lot of restaurants are struggling with good staff right now but I saw a group of people who were really working as a team and were doing their best to provide good service to their customers.
